Chapter 28 Wet for the Monster
Isabella’s POV
My eyes fluttered open to a ray of soft golden light flashing behind my eyes, and the familiar scent of something I didn’t want to accept yet. I blinked slowly, confusion clouding my mind the instant I found myself in the unfamiliar atmosphere.
What the hell is happening right now?
This wasn’t my room
The bed was too large, the sheets too soft, the heavy wooden posts carved with snarling wolves. And that is when it hit me—
Holy shit!
I was in Landon’s room.
How?
I tried to sit up, but my body protested strongly, my arms trembling violently, and a wave of dizziness slammed into me. The last thing I remembered was the endless ache of hunger rippling through my stomach, the way my entire world had gone dark after three days of no food and water.
I last remembered hitting the cold stone floor as I fainted..because the hunger was just too much to bear. So how the hell had I ended up here?
“Easy, Isabella.” A familiar voice shattered my thoughts, and my eyes snapped up to see Sarah approaching me.
She stood at the side of the bed, holding a glass of water. Her hair was tied back rather too tightly, and the expression in her eyes was filled with concern. “Oh, thank god you’re safe now…drink this water slowly at first.”
Before my brain could think, I snatched the glass of water from her hands. The instant its cool edges touched my lips, I gulped greedily, the liquid sliding down my parched throat like salvation.
I drained the entire glass in seconds and looked up at her with desperate eyes. “More… please.”
“Sure, I’ll go get another one right away,” Sarah replied quickly, a mix of concern and shock etched across her face before she took the empty glass and slipped out of the room, leaving the door slightly open.
I lay there without moving an inch, my chest rising and falling heavily, while my mind was already spinning with different thoughts. The thought of Landon’s hands on me while I was unconscious made my skin crawl.
Fucking bastard!
He had left me to starve for three whole days!
My baby… our baby… had gone without proper nourishment because of his cruelty. How wicked can a person be—
CREAK!
The sound of the door sliding open snaps me back to reality.
“So…you’re finally awake.”
Landon’s deep voice cut through the room like a blade as he stepped inside, closing the door behind him that rattled its hinges. He looked much stronger now—bandages still wrapped around his chest, his eyes sharp and cold exactly how I’d known it to be.
“Please leave.” The words left my mouth before I could stop them. “I don’t want to talk to you right now.” Rage surged through me at the sight of him, drowning out the dizziness.
He didn’t move an inch, if anything, he raised an eyebrow in surprise, a hint of dark amusement flickering across his face for just a second before it quickly disappeared.
“If anyone has to leave, it will be you. You’re in my room, Isabella…and you should in fact be thanking me for saving your life when I found you unconscious on the floor instead of being dramatic.”
Thanking him?
He must be really stupid!
The words ignited something feral inside me, and I forced myself upright, ignoring the weakness ripping through my body.
“I should be thanking you?” I hissed, my voice coming out harsher than intended. “You locked me away for three days with no food! You could have killed your own child out of spite. I will never thank you for that.”
I swung my legs over the bed before he could respond, forcing myself to stand on two feet even though my legs were shaking. “….you don’t need to worry about me being here because I’m going back to my own room, I can’t stand the sight of you!”
I took one unsteady step toward the door, but Landon moved faster. He blocked my path completely, his huge frame covering the entire space in seconds.
“W—“
Before I could finish the words, he slammed the door shut with a heavy thud. “Move, Landon,” I begged, my voice trembling with a mix of fear and rage at the same time. “Let me go.”
He didn’t move. Instead, he stepped closer, stepping closer until my back hit the wall. In one swift motion, he pinned both my wrists above my head with his massive hands, his body pinning me completely.
“You claim to hate me so much right now,” he taunted, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous whisper that sent chills through me. “But I can see it in your eyes, little rogue. How much you’re craving me right now.”
I opened my mouth to protest, to tell him how much I despised him, but the words died in my throat the moment I felt his free hand slide under the thin gown I wore.
The next thing I felt was his fingers trailing slowly up my inner thigh, deliberate and teasing, before they found my pussy.
“Oh…fuck.”
The shameful moan escaped me as two massive fingers parted my thighs, sliding through the slick wetness of my bare pussy. His motions were slow at first, circling my swollen clit with maddening precision before dipping lower to tease my entrance.
“You claim to hate me so much,” Landon whispered, his hot breath ghosting over my neck as his lips brushed my ear again. “How come you’re already so fucking wet down here?”
He does not give me any chance to respond as his fingers slide deeper inside me, stretching me open with a slow, deliberate thrust. I bit my lip hard to force down the moan threatening to break free, but my hips jerked involuntarily against his hand.
The slick sound of his fingers moving in and out of my dripping pussy filled the entire room, wet and filthy.
“Feel that?” he whispered into my ears, curling his fingers to stroke that sensitive spot inside me that made stars burst behind my eyelids. “Your tight little cunt is soaking my hand…greedy for me even after hard you try to resist.”
