Chapter 74: His More Admirable Traits

When Luna Queen Andreitte woke up, she readily saw Alpha King Dantes sitting on the chair beside her bed. He was sitting but his back was leaning at the back of the chair and his eyes were closed. A warm hand caressed her heart out of pity. He seemed to have never left her side the whole time that she was sleeping.

“How many hours did I sleep after I gave birth?” she thought wondering. She looked at her sleeping husband and made sure to prevent herself from creating any sound that might disturb his sleep. However, by instinct maybe, Alpha King Dantes suddenly opened his eyes. He was awakened.

“Andreitte, my love, you are awake already,” he exclaimed while his hands reached out to her. He gently took her right hand and kissed it. “How are you feeling?” he asked thereafter.

“Hubby, I am fine. Where are they? Our children?” Her eyes shone with excitement as she asked him. 

“In the nursery room. I never thought we will be having three pups. You hide the truth from me,” suddenly his tone became cold and he gave her a warning look. 

“I am sorry, my Alpha King. I just wanted to give you a big surprise. Were you not surprised?” she sheepishly asked while she put her left hand on his hands still holding her right hand.

“I was absolutely surprised. Goddamit, who would even think that I will be a father of three in just a flip of seconds?” he said laughing out loud this time. He was not angry at all, and Luna Queen Andreitte was able to breath with relief. “You are such a wonder, my Queen,” he added while looking at her lovingly.

Slowly, a sheepish grin rolled out from her lips. “Hmm, I guess I just got a brave man whose sperms are almost all as brave as he is,” she even looked at him with a mischievous smile thereafter.

With such teasing words, she earned a hearty laugh from the Alpha King. “Day by day, you are getting naughty my Luna Queen, and you are making me more interested,” he retorted with his eyes sparkling with mischief too.

“Are you happy that we instantly have three kids to take care of?” suddenly, she asked with seriousness. She knows it is difficult to raise three kids at the same time.

“The happiest and the proudest, my love. We will raise them well, with enough love and affection. We will be raising future Alpha Kings and Queens in this realm, so we gotta be so careful,” he replied with happiness clearly shown on his handsome face. 

Looking at her Alpha King husband, Andreitte could not think about how blessed she could be for having a fated mate like him. If she could just speak to the  Moon Goddess, she swears that she will tell her how grateful she is to her. She might have been misled at first and lied to, but the ending compensated well all her prior agonies and fears. She then adorably kissed his hands and looked at him with much love and admiration.

Meanwhile, in the mini-castle, more Alphas from different packs are coming over, questioning the decision of the Alpha King to allow the new Alpha’s breeder to be taken away again before anyone of them could breed her. 

The Alphas together with their Betas and Gammas and a few of their best warriors lined up outside the mini castle, requesting for the presence of the Alpha King. 

Beta Manro was having a troubled expression while walking along the corridor of their Kingdom’s medical building. He is going to tell the Alpha King of what has been happening in the mini castle, and he is still contemplating how to break it gently with him, without ruining his happiness for the birth of his three heirs.

He knocked on the medical suite especially assigned only to the royal family with his head still grasping for a good introduction in relaying to him the bad news.

“Get in,” Beta Manro heard Alpha King Dantes’ voice from the inside after his three knocks on the door of the medical suite of the Luna Queen. He slowly opened the door and bowed his head before finally entering the room.

“My Alpha King and Luna Queen, an apology for this disturbance,” Beta Manro said and looked at the Alpha King while sending a message through a mind link.

After getting the message of his Beta, Alpha King Dantes excused himself from his wife.

“Let us talk outside, Beta Manro,” he said and then walked fast out of the room, followed by his loyal Beta.

“My Alpha King, there is something happening now in the mini castle, which is already disturbing.”

With a furrowed forehead and inquisitive look at his Beta, the Alpha King, asked, “What is it, Beta Manro?” 

“My Alpha King, some Alphas are gathering now outside of the mini castle, wanting to speak with you regarding the consecutive removal of three Alpha’s Breeders, without having performed their duties yet. I heard that the Alpha from the Blue Ridge  Pack headed it and seemed to be encouraging other Alphas to distrust your leadership.” 

The Alpha King’s forehead furrowed even more. “Are there acts of rebellion already?”

“As of now, they have not done any violent actions yet, but the Alphas are accompanied by their Betas and Gammas including some of their warriors.”

Alpha King Dantes’s aura suddenly shadowed with ferociousness. “Then alert our warriors too. If they came for a peaceful talk only, they will not bring their warriors with them.”

“Consider it done, my Alpha King.”

“I will face them first. I will talk to them. Inform them that I will only speak with the Alphas without any companion, inside my office in the palace.”

“Loud and clear, my Alpha King.”

“Then go now.”

“Yes, my Alpha King,” Beta Manro said before he quickly disappeared in front of Alpha King Dantes.

Before entering the room again, Alpha King Dantes already mind-linked Gamma Reden to come over and guard the Luna Queen.

“My wife, I need to leave for a moment to take care of some urgent matters at the palace. I will be having a meeting with the Alphas.” Just as he finished speaking, there was a knock on the door and after a while the head of Gamma Reden popped in.
