23 heart attack

Third pov

Xellion walks closer to his wife. He really misses her. But Alexandria shook her head.

"Xellion I'm giving you a chance to come back. I know that you don't want to leave our child alone. I'm using my power to send you back. Stay away from me. Please don't step closer, Xellion. Think a million times before you do that. Our daughter still needs us. At least you were there, though just for another few months as long as I have power inside. I promise to pour it into both of you."

"But I couldn't take it anymore." Xellion said.

"If I can just escape here, I will do it. But as of now, Xellion, my body is slowly draining. The power I released hasn't been replaced due to the spell I cast for Xena. My father put a special shield in this dungeon of mine. Because I am a powerful witch, my father made this shield more durable. I want to take your stone back. The night after I cast a spell, I collapsed, and after that, I lost my sanity. I don't know what will happen next. I just came back from sanity now that I've seen you, Xellion. Who knows if I lost it again after you were gone?"

Alexandria cried again.

"All I can do for you now is give you a little of my power, Xellion. Please...."

Xellion shook his head.

"Alexandria, leading me to power will lead you to your near death. It would be useless. We don't know if, if you do that, you still have power left in you. Because what if you reach your limit?"

Alexandria sigh... Because she knows that her husband is right. She doesn't know how much power is left in her. So what if...

Losing one of them would be better than losing them both.

Xena

A sound of beeping from different devices in the hospital is all around. She knows that sound very well. Her dad has been coming in and out of the hospital for the past few years, so she knows it well.

She opened her eyes slowly while annoyingly hearing those beeping hospital sounds.

What am I doing here? Why do I have dextrose? I didn't remember being in an accident? My dad, where is he? He would be worried if he found out.

That was her question when she opened her eyes.

a nurse came in. So she instantly asked.

"Nurse, what am I doing here?"

The nurse was shocked as her gaze flew on me.

"You're awake. We thought that you had a heart attack." The doctor is still checking your record. Wait, I will call the doctor. You seem okay, like nothing happened. Maybe they were just mistaking you as a myocardial infarction patient."

After a moment, the doctor comes in and checks her again. Then they shook their heads at one another.

The doctor explained to her that she suddenly had cardiac arrest for just a moment and that her heartbeat came back normally. Though this is the first time this kind of phenomenon has happened, she has to check more.

After they make sure that she is okay, she is as good as new. She's been released. As she comes out of the room, Zimon and Seth face her and welcome her.

She lifted her eyebrow. What are they doing here?

"Why do they allow you to come out that easily? You lost consciousness. It seems your heart stopped breathing as I carried you earlier. Are you okay now? "How's you feeling?" Zimon asks, "Bombarding?"

"Relax, Zimon; it seems you were the patient here, not me. The doctor said, surprisingly, "Come back like nothing happened." There is no reason for me to stay in the ER. They still have no findings of what happened to me, but I have to come back once I can't breathe anymore because when they check me again, my body is normal. Everything is normal, as the doctor said."

She explained it once, so they wouldn't ask again.

"So can you please excuse me? I have to go to my dad."

Zimon grabbed my wrist immediately. I lift my eyebrow again.

"What's wrong with you?" I ask.

"I just want to ask if you want to eat first."

I sigh... I felt my stomach really hungry.

"Xena, I think you should eat first." Seth utter.

I smile, not so sure.

"The last time I checked, you were fighting. I run for help, then I collapse because of pain in my chest and all of my body. Why are you together, and it seems there's no fight between you two?"

Seth laughs, "Thanks to Zimon's louder hearing ear. He heard you, though you were too far away from the detention room. What do you think calls for that kind of sense? "Super power or love power?" Seth laughs louder.

What did he say? Love power? I smile again, confusingly.

What love is he talking about?

I don't want to think anymore; I'm really hungry. I couldn't understand what they were talking about, or did I hear it right?

"I think we should eat first."

My phone in my pocket rang while we were heading to the canteen.

It was Noah.

"Hello Noah?"

"damn! I've been calling you like a hundred times. Xena Where are you? "Do you know that Liam almost ran to the police to report your disappearance?"

Noah's voice was shouting at the other side.

"Relax Noah, I'm in the hospital. "I will explain later." I said. I don't want to tell my story over the phone with these two brothers nearby.

"So you already talked to the nurse?" I thought they'd been calling you and you're still not answering?"

I smile. I don't have only two friends in Noah and Liam present; now I seem like a brother because of them.

"So how's your father?"

"huh? "What happened to him?" I ask curiously with a beating heart very fast.

"I thought you were already in the hospital? I thought you were there for him?" Noah asks.

"I said I'd explain later, so what happened to dad?"

"Xena just checked him, and I still don't have any idea as well." Noah said, and she could hear Liam's voice talking in a lower voice about things I couldn't hear.

'I'm sorry, boys, but I need to check on dad first."

I checked my call history and saw a lot of missed calls from the hospital.

It must be important that they call this lot...
