Chapter 19
Theresia didn't go straight back to Alaska, she went somewhere with Lilia first. This place has been Theresia's favorite place in Draciana.
"Wow... This place is still beautiful, just like it used to be." Theresia's eyes lit up at the clear blue pool of water. The occasional gust of wind blew her hair, the clear sky also made Theresia very calm.
"I miss this place," Theresia murmured closing her eyes, as if enjoying the refreshing air.
Lilia did the same thing. , he smiled as he looked at the vast expanse of the lake. It was a place he used to frequent with Theresia, but that all changed when the vampires started targeting Theresia and destroying the witches. Since then Theresia has never been let out of the house by her parents.
"I also miss this atmosphere, ever since the vampires were after you. We can never go to this place again," Lilia grumbled with a deep breath.
Theresia laughed lightly in response, she turned her head and said, "Did you miss me that much, Lilia?"
Lilia rolled her eyes lazily. "Yes, I did miss you. Are you satisfied?" he replied curtly. Then Lilia pulled Theresia's hand towards the shore of the lake, saying, "Come, put your feet in this lake. Trust me it's very soothing."
Theresia frowned, but she did it anyway. Theresia sat beside Lilia, putting her feet into the lake. Sure enough, it was very soothing.
"Theresia, do you still remember the spell for the water balloon?" Lilia spoke again, while swinging her hand towards the lake. "Look at it like this, we used to learn about water control magic. Do you remember?" he continued with a small smile. The water that was originally calm, slowly rose to form a fairly large ball of water. Of course because of Lilia's magic power.
The corners of Theresia's lips lifted, she was challenged to do the same. He swung his hand making the water in the lake slowly rise, forming a fairly large ball. Then aimed the ball directly above Lilia, it didn't stop there. Theresia also broke the water ball, so that Lilia's body was wet because of her actions.
"Yes! Theresia, what are you doing?" said Lilia, "watch my clothes get wet."
While the perpetrator could only laugh in response, it felt happy to be able to laugh with his best friend. Theresia had missed that moment for months.
"Why? Don't you accept it, Lilia?" said Theresia with a mocking tone.
While Lilia pursed her lips in annoyance, there was joy when she saw her best friend laugh. "I will repay you!" she screamed fiercely, then she got up from her seat.
"What do you want to do, Lilia?" Theresia also got up still laughing happily, wary of Lilia doing something.
"I'll..." Lilia's words stopped, after hearing someone shout.
"Hey! What are you guys doing?" asked someone who had just arrived.
That person's shout managed to distract Lilia and Theresia, they both turned their heads to look at the old man who was standing by the tree.
"Uncle Robert?" Lilia muttered looking disdainfully at the man named Robert.
While Theresa was still smiling, she said, "Hello Uncle Robert! How are you?"
Instead of replying to Theresia's greeting well, Robert just chuckled as if he didn't like Theresia. Robert folded his arms across his chest, then replied, "Why do you still dare to return to Draciana Theresia's world?"
"Hey, uncle! here!" said Lilia curtly, disapproving of Robert's words.
Robert smiled lopsidedly. "Why are you angry? Draciana is indeed Theresia's house, but have you forgotten that It was Teresa who killed the elder Hans? Theresia also killed her own mother and father, she even made Draciana almost destroyed by the vampires' attack," he said at length, he stared at Theresia with a sharp look.
Theresia's expression suddenly changed, tears pooled in her eyes. The tightness returned to his chest, his mind returned to remembering the death of his father and mother.
"You are right, Uncle Robert. I remember everything, they died because they saved my life. But this was not what I wanted!" Theresia sarcasm with tears starting to fall down her cheeks, then she said again, "Don't worry, I won't take over my grandfather's power. You can rule Draciana as you wish, but don't forbid me to come back here."
Robert laughed loudly at Teresa's words, I don't know what she was thinking now. Robert had wanted to rule and lead Draciana for a long time, but he always failed because Hans and his family were still alive.
"You idiot, do you think witches would like it if you set foot here?" asked Robert with an annoying expression on his face.
Theresia just stayed where she was, but it was different from Lilia who was already boiling over by Robert's words. Lilia raised her index finger right at Robert, then said, "Hey, old man! Enough, don't talk anymore! No one can stop Theresia from coming to Draciana, do you understand?!"
Robert chuckles in annoyance. "I'll prove my point, the witches in Draciana don't like it when Theresia comes back here!" After saying that, Robert closed his eyes. Connecting telepathy between magicians who are all over Draciana.
A few moments later, Draciana's magicians began to come one by one. Theresia and Lilia were surprised by what Robert was doing. Theresia looked at all the witches in front of her, it wasn't a few, maybe almost all of Draciana's witches were there.
"What kind of stare is this," Theresia muttered, feeling that they all looked like they didn't like her.
While Robert was lifting his chin arrogantly, he leaned his back against the tree. Then back to the sound. "O witches! Do you remember the beautiful girl beside Lilia?" she shouted with a crooked smile.
Whispers began to be heard from the magicians, their gazes on Theresia seemed to answer everything.
"Of course remember," answered one of them.
Theresia smiled faintly, because they still remember him.
"How can we forget someone, who caused elder Hans and his family to die!" continued the sorceress curtly.
Threesia's defenses had collapsed, the smile that initially seemed sweet was suddenly gone. Her lips curled downwards, holding back the tears that wanted to come out.
"What are you guys saying! It wasn't Theresia who caused all that, you can't beat her!" Lilia shouted angrily, her arms wrapped around Theresia's shoulders, bracing her best friend not to cry.
"Lilia! You better stay away from her, or you'll end up just like Elder Hans and his family!" another mage who is known to be very loud.
Lilia glared disapprovingly, she was about to move towards the witch and attack her. But Theresia stopped him first, because she didn't want any more fuss.
"Enough Lilia, don't act. Let them say whatever it is, what they say is true," said Theresia smiling blandly. He turned his head to look at all the witches in front of him, then again said, "You guys calm down, I'll get out of here. But please don't forbid me to visit my family's grave, I promise not to make a fuss."
Theresia's tears fell, she didn't expect that all witches now hated her. "I beg of you," he continued in a weak tone, lowering his head.
"Yes, fine. We allow it, but if one of us falls victim again. Don't expect you to ever set foot in Draciana again!" said Robert emphatically.
"Now get out of here quickly!" said a young mage named Cleo, who used to be Lilia and Theresia's rival.
"You guys are really stupid! If Hans' grandfather was still alive, I don't know how disappointed he would be when you treat his beloved granddaughter like this!" Lilia sarcastically clenched her fists, of course she was emotional. He still remembered Hans' last words, which had told Lilia to take care of Theresia. But look at the treatment of the magicians, which is the opposite of Hans' wishes. Very sad.
"Come on, Theresia! We are leaving here, this is not our place. They are too stupid, for us to be smart, beautiful, kind and not arrogant." Lilia spoke again, while tossing her hair arrogantly. Then pulled Theresia's hand to leave.
"Hey, Lilia. Are you also going with Theresia?" Cleo asked a little shouting.
Lilia's steps stopped for a moment, then she turned to look at Cleo briefly. "Of course, I don't want to be stupid if I continue to be with people who have no sense and stand like you!" he said firmly and emphatically.
