Chapter 10
Dracania City..
Dracania is a city inhabited by the majority of magicians, they live there far from ordinary human inhabitants to avoid rebellion or hostility. The city is like most cities in the world, except that all the residents are more focused on developing their magic.
Previously they lived in peace and prosperity under the leadership of the elders, Hans was an elder or elder in the group of magicians who lived there. He is obliged to lead and make sure all the residents are safe, therefore Hans had a plan to give Theresia to the vampire nation because to protect the people.
The sun has just come out of hiding, the magicians in the city have been carrying out their activities each. The children go to a special school of magic founded by Hans, they don't only learn about magic. But also about other general subjects.
Meanwhile at Hans's house, the old man is still in his favorite chair while facing a magic ball that can observe the entire city. Hans' strength was great, but over time. His strength is like eating with age, he is not as good as before. Even her white hair has dominated her head.
"Today, it's time for me to face them. If I'm not there, I will be more calm because I have made sure that Theresia is safe with that man," Hans muttered with a faint smile growing on his wrinkled face.
His eyes continued to stare intently at the magic ball, as if he was watching something. Shortly after, Hans closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath.
"They came sooner than I expected," said Hans shaking his head a few times.
"Hey old geezer! Get out, tell me where your grandson is right now or I'll kill you!”
That voice was enough for Hans to know who was shouting at him, without wanting to prolong the problem. Hans got up from his chair, staggered out of his house carrying his wand.
Just as Hans came out, he saw the witches were dealing with the vampires. Hans clenched his fists, who knows when this will end. Hans is really tired of dealing with the vampire nation.
"Hey you guys! What you guys are looking for is me, don't hurt them!" shouted Hans hoarsely, no fear at all in him.
The five vampire races stopped attacking on their prince's instructions, while Aiden-the vampire prince turned to look at Hans with disdain. He walked over to Hans with a crooked smile on his face, Adnan is indeed famous as a fearless and merciless vampire prince, he is also very cruel.
"Where did you hide that holy blood girl huh?" snapped Aiden.
Hans actually laughed in response and then said, "Until I die, I will never say where my grandson is. You and your father have no right over my grandson!"
After saying that out loud, Hans attacked Aiden with all his might. Meanwhile, the four of Aiden's men returned to face the wizards under Hans.
"You damn old man! You'd better die!" shouted Aiden continued to attack Hans mercilessly he didn't care that the opponent was an old man.
"You're wrong, your father will die. Because if you don't get my grandson's blood, your father will die!" Hans shouted while laughing.
Aiden growled angrily, he couldn't accept Hans saying that about his father. He used his power to attack Hans, knocking Hans to the ground. Not only that, Aiden also used his power to attack Hans again.
But Hans didn't want to give up, he quickly got up from his seat swinging his wand to fight Aiden's strength. The blue light from Hans' wand competed with Aiden's red power. They were both strong, but Hans' reduced strength sent his wand flying far away and Aiden's power hit his chest.
"Arghh!" Hans moaned holding his chest which felt hot and sore from Aiden's attack, he fell back on the ground.
"Grandpa Hans!" The magicians who were there screamed seeing Hans slumped helplessly, they wanted to help but didn't have enough courage and strength.
While Aiden laughed out loud, very satisfied to see the old man dying in front of him. "No one to help him! Or you will suffer the same fate as him!" he shouted loudly.
All the magicians backed away slowly for fear of Aiden's threat, no one dared to approach.
Hans's breath started to falter, he started to lose consciousness. Hans smiled faintly at the sky, he already felt that this was the end of his life. Hans just didn't think that if he had to die horribly like this, what Hans regretted even more was that he wouldn't be able to protect Theresia after this.
"Theresia," Hans muttered with tears flowing from the corners of his eyes.
Aiden who not satisfied, because Hans wasn't really dead. He wanted to attack him again, but one of his men stopped him.
"No prince, he will definitely die after this. Don't get your hands dirty again with an old man like him, we should go inside his house and find out where the girl is now," explained the man.
Aiden thought for a moment, there was some truth to what his subordinates just said. Then Aiden nodded, then sauntered in and out with one of his subordinates. While the other three were waiting outside just in case.
After Aiden came in, Lilia and Theresia's friends rushed in and ran towards Hans. It doesn't matter whether he's going to be killed or fighting the vampire, Lilia already thinks of Hans as her own grandfather.
"Grandpa Hans, are you okay? I'll treat you right away," Lilia said frantically, tears already pouring from her eyes.
Hans grabbed Lilia's hand who was about to treat him, then the old man shook his head as he said, "No, my life isn't long. I can't hold on now."
"No, grandpa must stay. alive! Who will lead this city?"
Hans smirked. "There are still many great magicians here, Grandpa only has one message for you," he said softly.
"What, Grandpa?"
"Tell Theresia, tell her to be careful again. Tell her Grandpa loves her very much, and she can't even give up on the vampire nation. Tell him that, Lilia," Hans answered breathlessly.
Lilia burst into tears, when she saw Hans slowly closing her eyes. Lilia immediately checked Hans' pulse, but to no avail, Hans was no longer alive. That's where Lilia's cries began to dominate the place.
"Grandpa! Wake up! Lilia please, please don't leave us," shouted Lilia complete with a sad cry. The magicians who heard Lilia's scream also lowered their heads, of course they were saddened by Hans' death.
