Chapter 210 210

Chapter 210 210
Damien’s POV
“Damien?”
Maurice rushes into the shipping container, the look in his eyes mirroring the devastation of the scene around us. His gaze snaps instantly to my mate lying on the floor bare skin marked with my bites and horror flickers across his face.
My wolf greets him first.
“Get me clothes. Now,” Maurice barks at the men behind him before dropping to my side.
I can feel her.
Her pulse hums through my veins, steady but fragile, our bond almost fully formed. With every lick, every careful press of my mouth to her skin, her strength has grown. My saliva, heavy with healing, working in tandem with her own power.
“She needs a hospital,” Fabrice insists.
My wolf snarls in response.
There was no chance she was going to Darkvale tonight.
My pack was closer. She was coming home with me.
“Damien shift!” Maurice orders, tossing clothes toward me.
He can feel it too my wolf’s strength draining, every ounce of energy poured into keeping Aurélie alive. The power I’m giving her is coming directly from me. My wolf is struggling now.
“I need to get her home,” Fabrice mutters to Florence.
That’s enough.
My wolf yields, slipping back beneath my skin.
I shift, pulling on loose shorts and a T-shirt without leaving Aurélie’s side.
“She’s coming home with me,” I state flatly.
Her breathing has steadied, but it’s still shallow. She’s not out of danger not yet.
“Damien”
“She is my mate,” I cut in sharply. “I have claimed her. She belongs with me. You can argue all you want, you can run her recovery from my medical centre and oversee the team but make no mistake. She’s coming back to Bloodnight.”
I pull Dominique into my side, my arm firm around his shoulders.
“And so are my children.”
“The rogue?” Lucas asks. My men have him locked down, restrained in a brutal hold.
My eyes flash.
My wolf stirs again, fuelled by what I intend to do to him.
“Separate vehicle. Maximum security cell,” I command. “I don’t want him anywhere near my children. Four guards on rotation. If you value your lives, you’ll make sure he stays secured.”
My aura rolls through the container, heavy with command.
“What about Geneviève?”
Dominique’s voice cuts through the tension steady, unafraid.
“Geneviève was here?” I ask slowly.
“Yes. And your father the man who visited the pack last night.”
Rage detonates in my chest.
“After them!” I roar. “They won’t be far find where that fucking passage exits!”
“Yes, Alpha!”
Several warriors disappear into the tunnel, searching for any trace of where they fled.
My father.
Geneviève.
They attacked Aurélie’s convoy last night risking my mate, risking my children all for power.
“Where’s Delphine?” Dominique tugs at my arm, panic flaring in his eyes.
“She’s safe,” Maurice answers before I can. “She’s with Roland.”
Relief barely has time to register before I notice Fabrice injecting Aurélie with something.
I snatch the vial from his hand.
“Damn it, Fabrice. My wolf is on edge,” I snap. “Next time you inject my mate with anything, you tell me first unless you fancy learning how to eat without teeth.”
My frustration is razor-sharp.
Here lies my mate marked by me after everything they’ve done to her.
“What did they want?” I ask Dominique, forcing my voice down.
He hesitates, glancing at Fabrice.
Fabrice shakes his head.
That alone tells me it’s bad.
“Dominique,” I press.
“He wanted to mark Mum,” he says quietly. “Make her his Luna. Combine both alliances.”
My body starts to shake.
“And?” I ask, already knowing.
“And have heirs,” Florence whispers behind me.
Fabrice won’t say it aloud.
Dominique doesn’t yet understand what that truly meant.
He’s only four.
