Chelsea's POV
I do not know why I am inviting a complete stranger, the same stranger who trapped me in my school's bathroom may I add, into my room.
I saw him peeping while I was playing games with my family. I do not know why he is spying on me, but something about him puts me at peace and I guess that is why I am not scared.
"You do know it is not advisable to introduce complete strangers of the opposite gender to your room at night." He says stepping in. He is in a suit, as usual, but somehow, this one looks more casual. More free.
"I know. But you are not a stranger." I tease. Great, I am teasing him now.
"Says who?" He asks with a smirk. God, he is hot.
"No one exactly. You probably know more about me than I do about you." I say and he sits at the edge of my bed.
"Why do you say so exactly?" He asks.
"This is not the first time I have seen you spying on me." Okay maybe I am lying. This is the first time I have caught him spy on me but the shock on his face proves that there have been other times. "You do a terrible job at staying incognito." I add to tease him, but it only makes him look more mortified.
"Wait. You have seen me spy on you before?" He asks.
"Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?" I tease making him sigh in frustration.
"You tend to act like Torin alot." I say.
"Who is Torin?" He asks and I remember that he would not know him.
"Just a very broody classmate of mine. He has this extremely hardcore and sort of scary exterior, but the moment you get to know him, he is totally chill." I ramble. "And sort of flirty." I add as an after thought.
"He has flirted with you?" He asks, suddenly alert.
"Well, not exactly. I just find his approach to certain things a bit flirty." I say, trying to understand why he is suddenly guarded. Does he like me? Woah! You are goinng totally off track Chelsea. He may be a perv for all I know. A perv that I stupidly and blindly let into my room by this time of the night. But at least he doesn’t seem like a threat. I officially need mental and psychological help. I blame how my past relationship ended on this situation I am in right now.
"Does his flirty ways make you feel uncomfortable?" He asks out of the blue.
"Uhmm.. No. Not really. I mean not at all." I say. "I mean I do tend to point it out to him whenever he is being flirtatious, but totally not because he makes me uncomfortable doing it." I add for clarity. I didn't need to. I don't owe him an explanation, but I give him one either way.
We are both silent for a while. Him staring at my room and taking it all in. Me staring at him and wondering why he is so goddamn beautiful.
"Stop staring." He says without turning to even glance my way.
"How do you know I was staring?" I ask.
"Because I can feel you literally staring." He says turning to focus his attention on me.
"You were not even looking my way." I counter.
"I don't need to. My senses are heightened." He says almost quietly.
"How so?" I ask, trying to probe answers out of him.
"Long story." I he says.
"I mean, I do have my whole life ahead of me." I say after I make a show of checking my non existent wristwatch which makes him chuckle.
"I don't know if I have asked this before, but what is your name?" I ask. Don't blame me. I am terrible with names. It took me some time to even get a hang of Kevin and Kayla's names.
"You have asked me what my name is before. And when I told you, you pointed out how ancient it is." He says trying to remind me with clues.
"Oh, yeah, right. Still can't remember it though. I am way too terrible with names, sorry."
"It's Alaric."
"Alaric." I repeat. "Nice. I was right though. It does sound ancient." I say.
"Yeah. It is. Just like me." He says and I laugh assuming it was a joke, only to be met with a confused look.
"What?" I ask when I notice him staring at me.
"That was not a joke." He states plainly.
"Are you kidding me?" I ask standing up from the bed and going to get him a mirror and to look in. "Dude, you are way too young, and beautiful might I add, to be called ancient." I say and shove the mirror I found in my dresser in his face.
He collects the mirror from me and stares into it, then he drops it all of a sudden and his expression turns very serious.
"Do you believe in mythical creatures?" He asks, avoiding my gaze.
"Uhmm, fairies and trolls?" I ask, confused by the sudden question.
"No. More of vampires, witches and wolves. Werewolves." He clarifies.
"Well, I think they are over hyped mythical creatures." I say bluntly.
"How so?" He asks.
"I don't know how to explain it exactly. I just feel like they are not as nice or as human as they are explained to be." I explain.
"Hmm.." he says. "What if I were a werewolf." He asks.
"Then you are an absolutely one hot werewolf." I say. And I would let you do impossible and unholy things to me, I think. He chuckles like he heard what I was thinking and I unconsciously turn beat red.
"Would you also let me into your bedroom?"
"I mean, considering the fact that you are a complete stranger and the only thing I know about you is that your name is Alaric, and you are presently in my room, there is a high chance I would." I say.
He moves super close to me, practically hovering over me, which causes me to lean back and use my elbows for support. The room is suddenly super hot. So are other places on my body.
"Would you let me this close to you?" He asks, breathing on my neck. I can not answer him, cause I do not trust words coming out of my mouth this very second, so I just swallow and nod, looking him in the eye and pressing my thighs together to control some of the heat and wetness down there.
He moves away so suddenly, I can't help but whimper.
"Those are not smart choices, Chelsea. You should be more careful with your decisions." He says and leaves the room. Leaving me utterly confused, frustrated, and shocked.
