"A-Aiden..." I bit my lower lip and gripped his hair when his lips went down on my jaw, down to my neck. I let out a helpless moan when he suddenly sucked my skin there. "D-Don't leave a mark, love... I-I have work tomorrow," I whispered and stroked his hair.
He stopped sucking my skin and just bit it gently. I whimpered when I felt his teeth, lips, and tongue on my skin. His other hand went on my boob and started fondling it. My toes curled because of the sensation that ran through my veins. I just bit my lower lip to stop myself from moaning... My room isn't soundproof.
"A-Aiden..." I touched his shoulder when his lips went down on the upper part of my breast. I was catching my breath when I noticed that the tie of my robe was already undone.
"I'm sorry, love... Do you want me to stop?" he asked and distanced himself from me.
I bit my lower lip and avoided his loving gaze. "I-I'm sorry, Aiden... I'm still hesitant about this," I mumbled and gripped the hem of my robe. I didn't even notice that it was already up.
"Hey, you don't have to say sorry... I won't force you if you're still not ready. I'm more than contented with this." He held my hand and kissed my lips.
I smiled and hugged his nape. "I'm so lucky to have a boyfriend like you," I mumbled.
Aiden caressed my hair and kissed my forehead. "No. I'm the one who's lucky to have a girlfriend like you."
I pulled him closer and sealed his lips with a kiss again. Aiden instantly responded and gently touched my jaw. His hand went inside my robe and caressed my waist. I know he can feel my stretch marks there; they've become permanent on my stomach. But I haven't seen him get turned off by them, nor have I felt it. He's always looking at me as if I'm the most beautiful in his eyes.
"We better stop... I might not be able to control myself anymore," Aiden chuckled. He just gave my neck a light kiss before he lay down beside me. He pulled me to face him and hugged me in his arms.
"Aiden... Don't you get tired of me? I'm not yet ready to get married... I'm not even ready to have sex with you," I said and looked at his face.
Aiden smiled at me and pinched my cheek. "Those things can wait. Don't mind me; you don't have to force yourself if you're still not ready. I'm willing to wait. Even if it takes a long time, I will always wait for you," he said while staring at my eyes. He gave my lips a soft kiss and hugged me tighter.
I smiled and kissed him back. "Thank you, Aiden... I love you."
"I love you too, baby," he mumbled and kissed the top of my head.
I just smiled and closed my eyes while we were hugging. Aiden was gently stroking my hair, as if he was putting me to sleep. "Cres..."
"Hmm?" I asked, still with my eyes closed.
"Do you really have no lingering feelings left for him?" he asked in a soft voice. "Luca..." he added.
I just smiled and hugged him tighter. "No. I wouldn't have said yes to you if I still loved someone else... You're the one I love now, Aiden... Only you," I whispered and snuggled closer to him.
I felt him smile and kissed my forehead. "I hope that doesn't change until the end," he whispered.
I didn't really understand what he said because I was so sleepy. I just let myself be pulled to sleep.
"Don't worry, Sis. I already fed Vanna dinner," my sister, Cherry, said on the other line.
"Thank you, Che. I'm sorry; I'm just so busy right now. I might not be able to go home until later." I looked at my watch. It's already 8 PM; it looks like I'll have to work overtime again because of the amount of work I have to do here at the company.
After I called Cherry, I saw that Aiden had texted. I read it first before going back to work.
Aiden: Take a good rest when you get home, love. Don't skip dinner. I love you.
I just shook my head and smiled. I replied "I love you too" before I went back to work. I also put my phone on silent because I might just get distracted if Aiden replies again. I just focused on work so I could finish and go home. I'm starting to feel weak because I haven't seen Vanna and heard her voice. I miss my baby, so I have to finish this real fast.
"Are you going home with us, Cres?" Janice, my co-worker, asked.
"No. I still have to buy something," I just said and carried my handbag, then quickly left.
When I was outside, I already texted Cherry to tell her I was on my way home. She replied with a picture of Vanna sleeping soundly. I just smiled and caressed the screen with my thumb. Just a picture of my child feels like it already removed all my tiredness from the whole day.
I just went to the nearby eatery that I love to buy from to buy some food. I just shook my head when I saw some people drinking again. It's a good thing they're not rude. Something happened before where a drunk person almost harassed me here. It was immediately reported, so the owner of the eatery is now extra watchful.
"One order of menudo and rice, please," I said to Aling Melda and handed her the payment.
My eyes went to the table nearby. There was a man sitting there with his head on the table; his table was full of liquor bottles, and some had already fallen on the floor. His hair was long; I'd guess it was neck-length, but it was tied. He's wearing a leather jacket and baggy pants even though the weather is so hot now. He also looks tall and has a big build, but it's distracting because the smell of alcohol coming from him is so strong... It looks like he drank a lot.
"Oh, he's been drinking here since noon. He would've been handsome, but he looks like he has a lot of problems. He still hasn't paid. We woke him up earlier, but he got mad. We can't close because of him," Aling Melda said, shaking her head.
I bit my lower lip and shook my head. I took a one thousand peso bill from my wallet and gave it to Aling Melda. "I'll just pay for him. You can also send him home, just in case something happens to him," I just said and took the plastic bag with my food that she handed me.
Aling Melda and I were stunned when the man stood up. He almost fell, but he immediately held on to the table. He took his wallet from the pocket of his leather jacket, then walked unsteadily towards our direction.
"Hey... this is my payment."
My hairs stood up when I heard his voice... it was so familiar to my ears. I swallowed and stared at him, who was now looking at Aling Melda and handing her his payment... He has a beard, so I didn't recognize him right away... but I can't be wrong.
I froze and stared at him... Aside from his hair and facial hair, nothing really changed on his facial features... but his eyes, they are lifeless. He also has deep eye bags as if he hasn't slept for days... What happened to him? His voice, his eyes, his lips, everything about him looks lifeless... I don't know what to feel right now.
