Chapter 75 - Surprised by Three Mates
A year later:
“I’m so nervous!” I said. I clasped my sweaty hands together and let out a deep, shaky breath.
“I was nervous too! Just take a deep breath. You look beyond amazing.. this is the day you marry your mates.” Mom said.
Of course, it’s not normal to marry three men. And since my mom creates the laws.. it’s now possible. I will be legally married to all three by the end of tonight.
“Mommamama.” My little girl stumbled into the room with aunt Dakota. She’s all dressed up in her flower girl dress. I almost melted at the sight. She has similarities to each of my mates, where the boys look the spitting image of their dad.
“Hi, my beautiful baby. Where’re bubbas?” I asked. She looked at me and smiled. Of course, she’s only a little over a year old, but her talking is quite well.
“Daddas.” She said. I picked her up and she lay her head on my shoulder and patted my chest.
“Milk mama. Milk mama.” She said. A smile formed on my face and I slipped my dress down just enough to pull my br*ast out. She quickly attacked me, playing with my face as she drank.
“I hope the boys are ready, there’s half an hour until the ceremony.” Mom said.
“I’m sure they are. I’m usually the one not ready in time.” I giggled. I felt Sabrina’s teeth bite my n*pple and I about screamed in pain. I looked down at her, a mischievous grin on her face.
“No bite. It hurts baby.” I said. Her smile faded, but she stopped biting and continued to eat.
“You used to bite me all the time. I scared you once when I yelped, and you never did it again.” Mom said with a grin.
“I’m paying for that now,” I said.
The door opened and in walked Charlie, Beckett, and Wren.
“Oh, my goddess! You look amazing, April.” Charlie said. Her pregnant belly was showing through her pastel pink dress.
“So do you!” I said. She rubbed her belly and smiled.
“Liam almost fainted when he saw me. I would say he was exaggerating.. but I know when your mates see you in that dress.. they’ll be doing the same.” She said.
My mind went back to Charlie’s birthday.. when she found out Liam was her mate.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••
“Happy birthday, Charlie!” The crowd screamed as she walked into the ballroom. She had her long blonde hair down in curls, her green eyes popped with the purple eyeshadow that matched her fitted dress. She looked so beautiful, and I wasn’t the only one to think so.
“Mate.” Liam’s voice was loud and clear for everyone to hear. Charlie told me beforehand she had believed he was her mate. They were dating already. She’d begun to find his scent almost hypnotizing. The happiness on her face brought a smile to mine.
“Mate.” She smiled brightly as she made her way to him. He held his hand out for hers, and when she grabbed it he pulled her into his arms and kissed her with so much passion.
“I knew it..” she whispered.
“I’ve waited for this moment for months.” He said. The lights died down and the music began playing a soft and slow song. She wrapped her arms around him and he did the same. Everyone watched as they danced, already madly in love.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••
“I feel like I’m going to explode! I don’t know how you did it with FOUR pups.” She groaned as she sat down. Beckett took a seat next to her and laughed.
“Thankfully, I have a while for that,” Beckett said.
“I absolutely loved my pregnancy. I felt so beautiful, like a goddess. If the doctor had allowed me to be pregnant immediately, I would have.” Wren said. She was holding her tiny pup in her arms. He’s fast asleep and making the cutest cooing sounds.
“I loved it until I could hardly walk,” I said. Even the nausea wasn’t so bad.. though at the time I thought I was going to die.
“It’s about time, ladies.” Mom said. I looked down at my girl who was still wide awake. She unlatched and sat up.
“Dadas.” She said. I put her down and she stumbled to the door.
“Wait, little Princess. You need this.” Mom said. She held a little basket full of light pink flower petals.
Sabrina ran up and grabbed it from her, then held out her other hand for mom. Mom reached down and grabbed her and I stood up. I straightened out my dress, looked in the mirror one last time, and let out a deep breath.
“I can’t wait to see them,” Iris said. My heart raced quickly in my chest as I replied.
“I can’t wait either,” I said. I followed the girls out, down the hall, down the stairs.. this is it.
My Dad and Great-Grandpa Viktor were waiting at the ballroom doors. My little boys stood between them in tuxedos with little bows around their necks. Their hair was combed neatly.
“Woww.” Little Oliver said. He looks just like Klaus. Even the little things he does like the way he smiles is so similar to Klaus’s
“Mama.” My sweet Aleksandr said. Sweet and loving, just like Alexei.
“Boom boom.” My funny little Henry says as he plays with his cars. So much like Alastair, it’s crazy.
They may not biologically share the same fathers, but my mates love them all equally, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better.
I gave each of my babies kisses on their little heads and stood up.
Tears filled my Dad's eyes as he wrapped his arms around me.
“My little girl is so big now.” He said softly. I pulled away and gave him a smile.
“I’ll always be your little girl,” I said. He held out his arm, as well as Viktor's. With both of them on each side, I took a deep breath and let it out slowly.
“You look stunning. Your grandmother would be so proud. She would’ve been so excited about this.” He said. I lay my head on his shoulder and smiled softly.
“Thank you both for walking me down the aisle,” I said.
“Our pleasure,” Viktor replied.
The door opened and the music started playing.
First, Charlie and Oliver walked down the aisle. Awhs filled the room as the cuteness began to spill out everywhere.
Second, Aleksandr and Wren followed. Aleksandr held the little pillow with the rings tied to it.
Third, Henry and Beckett walked behind them. I could see the bright smiles on each of my mate's faces at the sight of their pups.
“Alright, Sabrina. Your turn.” Mom whispered. Mom kissed me on my cheek before grabbing Sabrina’s hand. They began walking down the aisle, Sabrina pulling her hand from moms and almost running to her daddies. Mom giggled as she pointed to the flower petals in the basket, and Sabrina began pulling them out and dropping them in clumps on the floor.
“They’re such beautiful babies,” Dad said. I smiled at him with tears in my eyes.
“Yes, they are.”
“You ready?” Viktor asked. I nodded my head.
“I’m ready,” I said. We began walking slowly through the door, my mate's faces red as they sniffled with each step I grew closer. I could feel an almost overwhelming sense of love through the bond. Alexei threw his hand over his mouth as he got a good look at me, tears in Klaus’s eyes and a huge grin on Alastair’s face.
Goddess, I love my mates.
When I stepped up to the alter, Viktor and my Dad kissed my cheeks and then made their way to their seats.
“You look absolutely breathtaking,” Alexei said.
“We are the luckiest men alive,” Klaus said.
“Mmm.. you’re coming home with me,” Alastair said, in the voice that was from the sound that’s used on many videos. The room busted out in laughter, as well as I did.
Sebastian gave me a wink from the altar and opened a mind link.
“You look beautiful, my twin.” He said.
“You don’t look too bad yourself,” I said with a smile.
“You may all sit, and may we begin this beautiful ceremony of mates,” Sebastian said.
“Men, may one of you repeat these words after me, since there are three of you, one of you may say it, or all of you,” Seb said. I held out my hands, Alastair grabbing one, Klaus grabbing the other, and Alexei placing his hand on top of both of mine.
“In the name of the Moon Goddess, we, Alexei, Klaus, and Alastair take you, April Allaire, to be our wife, to hold from this day forward, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health.. even though it’s highly unlikely that any of you would get sick.. as long as we all shall live,” Sebastian said. I rolled my eyes but the smile I had wasn’t easily contained. The room began laughing at Sebastian’s silliness.. and so did I.
“In the name of the Moon Goddess, we, Alexei, Klaus, and Alastair take you, April Allaire, to be our wife, to hold from this day forward, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health.. as long as we all shall live,” Alexei said. I assume they’d discussed who would be talking, beforehand.
“Goddess, yes we do,” Alastair said. My face felt hot and red like a tomato.
“April, you may go,” Sebastian said.
“I, April Allaire, take all three of you..” I heard snorts in the crowd. My face getting even hotter than before.
A mind link opened from my mates.
“Yes, you do. And you take us all very well.” Klaus said seductively. Dear Goddess, help me.
“Alexei, Klaus, and Alastair, to be my husbands, to hold from this day forward, in joy and in sorrow, in sickness and in health as long as we all shall live.” I finished.
“Little Alek, may you present the rings?” Sebastian said in a baby voice. It made me giggle.
Aleksandr stumbled up the small stairs and walked over to his uncle. He handed Seb the rings and waddled over to his daddies, hugging each of their legs and then waddling back over to his seat.
Sebastian untied my ring, then handed it to Alexei.
“I give you this ring as a symbol of my vow, and with all that I am and all that I have, I honor you, in the name of the Moon Goddess, and the rest of them." He said with a smile as he slid the band up my finger.
It’s a simple band, with white diamonds. But there are three black diamonds next to the white ones, representing each of my mates.
Sebastian untied my mate's rings, handing me each of them. They’re simple, white gold flat-edge bands.
“I give you this ring as a symbol of my vow, and with all that I am and all that I have, I honor you, in the name of the Moon Goddess, and as you said, the rest of them," I said with a smile. I slid their rings on one by one.
“Now, you may each kiss the bride. Let me just close my eyes really quick.” Seb said as he jokingly squeezed his eyes shut. I leaned forward, kissing Alexei, then Alastair, then Klaus.
“Are you done yet?” Sebastian asked. I punched his shoulder, not too hard, and giggled.
“Thank you,” I said softly.
“Now.. let’s enjoy some cake, sis.”
