Quincy got to the west playground and saw several beautiful young girls.
"Quincy, why are you so slow?"
The tallest girl complained. She was Carlotta who called Quincy just now.
She took out 10 yuan to Quincy, "Buy six bottles of water for us."
"Captain Carlotta, why didn't you tell me before? I could have bought them by the way."
"What? Mad? Tired? Couldn't stand it?" Her words shot towards Quincy like cannonballs.
Quincy gave up, "No... Alright, I'll go..."
Then the girls were satisfied.
"Quincy, fan for me" Carlotta gave another order. Quincy was idle and they had to make full use of him.
They were at the basketball court, where the school basketball team was have training.
After resting for half an hour, the cheering team continued practicing.
Quincy sat alone on the grandstand and watched them practicing, as well as kept an eye on their stuffs.
"Hey, why don't you go and play with them?"
A girl came and sat down beside him, with a bright smile.
Quincy was shocked for a moment. She had beautiful hair, snowwhite skin, bright eyes, and her temperament was refreshing.
"Hi..."
Just as he was about to say something, a tall boy walked over, "Hey, girl, why do you care about him? He is the cheering team's personal assistant. He did all the dirty work. Otherwise, how would Carlotta let him in?"
"Oh..." A trace of tenderness appeared in her gaze.
"Before you came, he was fanning the girls. Like this." The boy made a fanning gesture. He was aiming at teasing Quincy.
Then the tall boy reached out his hand, "Hello, I'm Alvis Barnett, the main player of the school basketball team. My family is not so wealthy, with only 2 million income a year."
Alvis's gaze could not leave the girl. The longer he looked at her, the more he liked her. With such good conditions, it was not a problem for him to gain a favorable impression!
The girl glanced at Alvis's hand, but she did not take any action. She gave a subtle smile, "Ciel Reed, Carlotta's friend."
Alvis pulled his hand back awkwardly, "Ciel, beautiful name. Carlotta is rehearsing. Let's go for a walk at the playground."
"I want to stay here."
Alvis was somewhat impatient for being rejected twice, but he didn't want to give up such a beautiful girl. One of his teammates called him back, so he could only go back resentfully.
"What is your name?" Ciel turned to Quincy with a gentle smile.
"Quincy!" He was completely attracted by her special and pure aura. There was no contempt nor sympathy in her clean eyes.
He felt comfortable and smiled subconsciously.
The cheering team had practiced twice and Carlotta came back for rest.
"Ciel, why are you chatting with him?"
Carlotta was in surprise. She pulled his shirt and let him stand up, then she sat next to Ciel, "We need someone to carry heavy stuffs and run errands. That's why we have him. Just a poor guy. Don't pay any attention to him!"
"I don't care about that. He looks nice." Ciel smiled.
"Nice?" Carlotta did not agree. She turned her sharp gaze to Quincy, "I know that Ciel is beautiful and you want to get close to her. Please have a clear understanding of yourself. Stop your evil thoughts!"
"I..." He wanted to explain, but words failed him.
"What?" Her gaze became even sharper. Ciel looked at him helplessly.
Carlotta's phone rang. She unconsciously frowned and walked to the side.
"Hey, don't be too stressed. Your parents are somewhat over-worried... Have a good rest. Don't keep thinking about it. Feel free to call me if you need any help..."
Carlotta hung up the phone and came back.
"What's the matter?"
"It was my cousin. It is time for her to get married, but she hasn't had a boyfriend yet. Her families are urging her."
"She is so beautiful and doesn't have to worry about it at all." Ciel smiled.
Carlotta hesitated, "Ciel, don't you understand? She indeed needn't worry about that. The key is whom she marries. With her conditions, her husband must be at least a millionaire!"
And she glanced at Quincy with disgust, "It can't be a poor man like him, can it?"
