"Darling, where are we going to have dinner?" The more Vicky looked at Vincent, the more she liked him.
"You'll know later!" Vincent smiled faintly. He held the steering wheel with one hand and reached out to Vicky's thigh with the other, stroking her back and forth.
He knew that what he had done in school flattered her vanity greatly. If he pawed at her, she would have no objections right now.
And he was right. Vicky took a glance at his hand on her thigh and did not say anything.
Vincent finally parked his car in front of a hotel.
"Wow, Sofitel Galaxy Hotel. Darling, are you taking me here for dinner?" Vicky's eyes widened and looked at the luxurious building in front of her in disbelief.
Sofitel Galaxy Hotel was one of the top hotels in JM City!
"Are you happy? Let's go in now. I've already booked a table!" Vincent said with a smile. He planned to spend a lot of money on the dinner today. After all, having a meal here would cost at least 2, 000 yuan. That was a lot for a student!
But seeing that Vicky was so happy, Vincent felt that it was worth it!
Vicky held Vincent's arm and walked into the hotel.
Immediately, a young waiter stepped forward and greeted them, "Hello, welcome to, to Sofitel Galaxy. Excuse me, have you, have you reserved a table?" After the waiter finished speaking, he smiled embarrassedly, "I've got the job only today. Forgive me for not being proficient."
"Never mind," Vincent said, "I've booked a table, Table 8!"
"Table 8. I'll bring you over now. Please follow me!" He led the way.
They followed the waiter to the second floor and arrived at the table.
Seeing the surroundings, they were both extremely satisfied. They couldn't help but think highly of the hotel. It really was one of the top hotels in JM City. The decoration itself was much better than many other hotels in the city.
Crystal chandeliers, gold-plated candle holders, low-key yet luxurious tablecloths and chairs!
As soon as they took their seats, a queue of foreigners walked over. Each of them was playing a musical instrument, accordion, violin and so on. There was even one guy juggling with an empty plate!
Their table instantly became the focus of the hall! The others all looked at them enviously!
All this boosted Vicky's ego a lot. She just enjoyed being admired like a princess!
"Thank you so much, darling. I'm so happy!" Vicky happily embraced Vincent. She remembered the days when she could only eat at a roadside stall when she was with Quincy. She was even gladder to have dumped Quincy!
She began to take selfies again. "Come, darling, look at the camera!"
She took a selfie of them, intentionally including the dining table and a few foreigners! Then, she shared it on her Moments and indicated the location on purpose.
Soon enough, someone responded under the picture.
"Vicky, you actually went to Sofitel Galaxy for dinner! That's awesome!"
"When can you take me there? No one I know has eaten there!"
"Rich woman, take me home please!"
...
All the comments were to show admiration and astonishment. Her ego was boosted as never before! She was even more determined that it was a wise choice to dump Quincy! If she were to be with him, she would never be able to enter Sofitel Galaxy in her lifetime!
As for Quincy, when he saw Vicky and Vincent kissing in front of everyone, he felt a little miserable. But he was mainly disappointed at her unfaithfulness.
He knew very well what kind of person Vincent was. Vicky was actually willing to be with him! How stupid!
Vincent had a Passat. Was it even a decent car? He could drive a Ferrari to school if he liked!
"Are you still thinking about her?" A woman's voice sounded beside him.
He was recalled to his surroundings and saw that Scarlett stood beside him. He had been lost in thought and hadn't noticed her.
"No, I just feel pity for her. It's not worthy it!" Quincy smiled faintly.
Scarlett said discontentedly, "She gave up such a good man like you and chose a scumbag like Vincent. She deserved it." She looked at Quincy with a smile, "Let's go and have dinner together. I'll treat you! You can eat whatever you want at X Restaurant outside the school."
Hearing this, Quincy remembered that he had said that he was going to take her to dinner. But he hadn't had the time in the past few days.
"It's my treat this time. Come on, let's go to Sofitel Galaxy Hotel for dinner!"
"Quincy, you broke up with your girlfriend last time. It was fine if you bragged about going there. What are you doing today?" Scarlett smiled and said to Quincy.
Scarlett knew that dinner at Sofitel Galaxy Hotel was not something that students like them could afford.
"Just follow me!" Quincy was too lazy to explain it.
He pulled Scarlett to the school gate, took a taxi and headed straight for Sophie Galaxy Hotel.
After they got off the taxi, Quincy grabbed her hand and rushed towards the hotel without saying anything!
Scarlett panicked. She quickly stopped him and frowned, "Quincy, no joke. It's really not the place we should come to."
Quincy smiled thinly and said, "Don't worry. Since I take you here to dinner, I won't embarrass you." He ignored her objection and pulled her into the hotel.
"Wait, I want to go to the bathroom."
Entering the hall, seeing the brilliant decoration everywhere, Scarlett was intimidated. She felt that her legs were a little weak, and she was extremely nervous. She wanted to go to the bathroom to calm down.
"Ok, I'll go with you!" Quincy sighed slightly.
Scarlett walked into the ladies' bathroom while Quincy washed his hands in front of the sink.
At this time, two people came in from outside. They were Vicky and Vincent. Vicky accidentally dropped the dessert on her clothes and came to get rid of it.
"Why are you here?"
Vicky didn't expect to see Quincy here.
"Vicky..."
Quincy was also quite surprised.
"Stop calling her name. She has nothing to do with you."
Vincent angrily took a step forward, as if he was going to fight him if Quincy showed any objection. "I'm warning you for the last time, you're not allowed to say her name out loud in the future, let alone have any fantasies about her!"
Quincy said nothing and turned around to wash his hands.
Vicky rolled her eyes and walked to the tap closest to Quincy. She turned it on and blocked the water outlet with her finger. She turned her head to aim at Quincy and released her finger a little. A stream of water was shot towards him.
"You..." Quincy's face was covered with water.
"You deserve it!" Watching the water dripping from Quincy's head, Vicky laughed happily.
Quincy still didn't want to have a conflict with them. He couldn't pick a fight, could he just leave?
Quincy was about to get out of the door when Vicky gently bumped Vincent with her shoulder and winked at him. Vincent understood. He hurried to the door before Quincy and raised one leg in front of it, blocking the way out.
"You want to leave now? How can it be that easy? Call us your big brother and sister-in-law, and we'll let you out!"
Vicky sneered at Quincy and said, "You sneaked in this place, right? How dare a poor loser like you come into this hotel? You do have guts! If you don't do it now, I'll call security!"
She wanted Quincy to feel what it was like to call her now his ex-girlfriend in-law!
Vicky felt that the more she bullied Quincy, the happier she felt.
Quincy really got angry this time. He had already caved in. They were still pushing their luck, weren't they?
At this moment, Scarlett walked out of the bathroom. She also heard what Vicky had said just now.
"Vicky, haven't you gone too far? What have we done to you? What do you call security for?" Scarlett looked at Vicky angrily.
"You are here too. What a couple!"
Vicky sneered and turned her eyes around cunningly. "What for? I'm sure you two aren't here for dinner. Do you think this is KFC? Is it a place you can come in at any time you want?" She said.
This time, Scarlett had nothing to say to defend themselves.
Just now in the bathroom, Scarlett thought she understood Quincy. He must be joking when he took her here!
When she went out, she had made up her mind to drag Quincy out of here, but she didn't expect to meet Vicky and Vincent.
It seemed Vicky wasn't going to let them go easily. Scarlett didn't know what she was up to, so it was better to take off as soon as possible.
Scarlett grabbed Quincy's arm and was about to leave. "Quincy, let's go!"
"You want to leave just like that?"
Vicky and Vincent blocked the door of the bathroom and started shouting, "Someone is going to the hotel to go to the bathroom instead of eating. Where is the hotel manager? Isn't he going to take care of it?"
With Vicky's shout, all the guests passing by were attracted.
"Everyone, look at these two. They sneaked in only to use the bathroom. The hotel is doing business not charity. How can people use such a good bathroom without spending a dime? How shameless!"
As soon as Vicky said this, other people began to heckle.
"That's right. People nowadays don't have ethics any more. How can they just enter the bathroom in a hotel like this?"
"It's not like there's no public bathroom outside. Why don't you go? Going to the bathroom of a high-class hotel for free? You are really good at taking advantage, aren't you?"
"I'm afraid it's not as simple as going to the bathroom. They also want to use the Internet for free. If they don't get discovered, they'll probably find a corner and spend the night."
...
At this time, the hotel manager also came.
Vicky walked up to the manager and pointed at Quincy and Scarlett. She said sarcastically, "Sir, what do you do with them? If anyone outside can go to your bathroom, I don't think your hotel is as upscale as it is said."
"Wait a moment, please"
He smiled apologetically and turned to Quincy, "Excuse me, all the facilities in our hotel are available only for our guests and are not open to public. Now, please leave. I'm sorry."
Scarlett timidly said to Quincy, "Quincy, let's go." Being watched by so many people, Scarlett felt very shameful and embarrassed.
However, at this moment, Quincy pulled her back and looked at her calmly, "We're not leaving."
"The manager has already kicked you out. You still aren't leaving. This is truly shameless!" Vicky became excited. "Is it because the free Wi-Fi? Or do you intend to ruin the hotel's reputation by wandering around in front of our customers who spent so much money, deliberately disgusting us, not letting us eat properly?" she said.
The manager also thought that Quincy was causing trouble on purpose. She frowned and said, "Sir, please leave now. Otherwise, I will call security!"
Vicky was overjoyed. She really wanted to see Quincy taken away by the security.
"They are guests. Aren't we guests too?"
Quincy looked at the manager and said, "I've already booked a table here."
"You have booked a table here?" Vicky looked surprised and then burst into laughers. Quincy's words were a joke to her.
If a poor student like Quincy could book a table in Sofitel Galaxy Hotel easily, it would be so degrading. The hotel wouldn't be called one of the hotels that were most difficult to book.
Quincy, you were really stupid! You wanted to say things like this to get your face back, didn't you? Actually, it could only make things worse for you.
Vicky couldn't wait to see Quincy's awkward expression after the manager called his bluff!
The others were all ready to watch a show. From what Quincy wore, no one would believe that he was able to book a table at this Hotel.
"Sir, please don't challenge my bottom line. If you continue to mess around, then I'm sorry, I can only take enforcement actions!" The manager had put the walkie-talkie to his lips.
Scarlett was also anxious. She was thinking fast ways of fixing it up, but she was just a poor student after all. In this hotel, there was nothing she could do!
"I've booked Table 8 in your hotel. If you don't believe me, look!" As he said that, Quincy took out his phone and showed the manager the text message he had received when the booking was confirmed.
"You booked Table 8? What a coincidence! We also booked Table 8. Do you think it's interesting?" Hearing Quincy's words, Vicky laughed.
She felt that Quincy must have forged a text message to cheat people from the hotel before he came here. However, she never expected that table had been booked by themselves. It was his unlucky day.
The manager took Quincy's phone and checked carefully. Then he smiled and respectfully returned the phone to him, "I'm sorry for the misunderstanding just now. It was our mistake. I'll bring you over now!"
