Chapter 15: 14:Scared body stealing bitch!

Each turns, each steps, I ever try to count the seconds.

'I can do this' I said to myself.

I tried my best to know each and every part in which Alice and my body was heading to as I followed my body in inner silence.

The paths looks familiar so it wasn't too hard for me to mark some new parts in my head Incase there would be need for me to return here someday. I don't know when I might want to see Rex, do I?

It was obvious, someone is in control of my body. Pfffff! Two weeks ago when I came here, I had no idea of anything called a werewolf now I am being controlled by someone.

What if I really tried to kill Seth yesterday! What if there was something around that had connected me with them and what if Derek buying me was all a charade to make me feel indebted.

No need to cry for help.

I stopped trying to scream out loud for help since no one was going to hear my actual voice as I stayed still and listened more to the voice coming out my mouth and what Alice and I was discussing without my permission.

That was it! No wonder I always felt some kind of bitchy vibe from Alice. No wonder I just kinda hate her.

Alice looked at me and paused for awhile like she had noticed that I was tired of everything that was happening to me as she sighed. Did she see my real expression or Rowena still in charge?

"Remember you can't show up there as you" she said to my surprise as I watched like I didn't get to hear what she just said well.

"What....I prefer my pretty one over her's.." Rowena said placing my left hand on my chin with the other holding my waist as she rolled 'my' eyes.

She is a jealous bitch!

"Don't be impossible,I really missed those things of yours" Alice said and imitated what I just did as we giggled and continued walking.

They really are besties.

The look on Alice's face made me realize she really meant it, like she does miss her friend.

" Better still, you would need to show up there as his mate...not this" she said making a slow circular rotation with her left index finger in the air front of my face.

"Of course,that is more like it...I would show him what he needs to see" Rowena said smiling about mischievously before winking at her.

"How about this now?" Rowena asked her pointing to my face as she forced a weird smile on her face which would have been better off not seen.

Alice flashed a fake smile.

"He wouldn't want to kill his mate afterall" she said and looked elsewhere immediately like my face was making her uncomfortable as we resumed our walk.

Not long enough, I found myself knocking at Rex's door calmly but it surprisingly came out very fast like a row on the door.

Alice smiled at me again and made a 'thumbs up' signal for me from afar where she stood before walking further into the woods. If Derek and Alice were both scared of Rex, why did they let me come alone?

There he was, the Almighty Rex.

His place looks odd but my body didn't hold back from wanting to see him.

Rowena and I, we stood still. For the first time since I noticed I could feel her emotions, she was anxious and absolutely terrified.

As we stood, we watched the closed door while my mind was going round the house and its corridor like my eyes wasn't allowed to do so.

The door opened gently like it wasn't ready to open and Rex's figure by the door way, resting on it partially like his house wasn't enough for to to rest in.

He looked pale and tired as well even if he has a faint smile on which I wasn't really buying. Rowena didn't buy that smile too.

"Hey, you showed up?" He asked looking abit surprised and kind of confused, I would have said no but I wasn't in the mood for joking around and he wouldn't hear me anyway.

We stood still in a very short but yet awkward silence as he waited for my reply which didn't come out loud.

"Please come in, my bad" he said as Rowena nodded and followed after him into the house that seems to be in existence for some decades now.

Rowena saw it first. Our eyes caught up with something that wasn't willing to let go of it anytime soon.

On Rex's shoulder, was a big open bite wound..a festering bite above his shoulder oozes a greenish pus, surrounded by inflamed, discolored skin that gives off a faint, slightly unpleasant odor.

My stomach tightened abit as I noticed this on his body and immediately remembered when it happened to him,that night.

I was willing to go in but my body stood still as it occurred to me that I have been standing by the open door since he asked me in.

"What's the matter, are you still scared of me?" He asked as soon as he turned around to meet gaze with me, shivering abit...I guess in fear but I wasn't afraid.

Rowena nodded slightly without saying a word still standing there like my legs were already growing root on that spot.

"Oh..you don't have to be ok..I'm sorry about what happened between my brother and I, I don't really mean to come after him that way" he said with a weaker smile as he tried to reassure me that I would be fine with him.

Gosh, I hope he will notice something strange about me and help me.

Rowena walked in silence watching him closely like she don't really trust him or believe what he was saying.

Was Rex that dangerous?!

She was petrified of this dude and still agrees to see him alone. Was Rex that dangerous?!

"It's ok..have a seat" he said pointing towards a lion size chair that wasn't that far from the door.

I chuckled as I noticed how Rowena was so happy to get a seat by the door.
