Chapter 27: Bonds and Booze

Cody POV

I’m sprawled on Ryan’s bed, his chest warm under my head. My phone glows with Jake’s name, buzzing loud. My heart jumps, fast and tight. Ryan’s hand rubs my back, steady and soft. “Answer it,” he says, low. My throat’s dry, nervous and quick. I swipe fast, hand shaky. “Jake?” I say, voice small. My chest’s tight, scared for him. “Hey, man,” he says, rough but clear. “I’m out. Sober. Can I come over?” My breath stops, warm and wild. “Yeah,” I say, quick. “Please.” My eyes sting, happy and dumb.

He’s here fast, knocking soft. I jump up, legs wobbly from us. Ryan follows, arm brushing mine. I open the door, heart pounding loud. Jake stands there, skinny and pale. His hair’s messy, eyes tired but bright. My chest hurts, seeing him good. “Hey,” he says, soft. My throat burns, full of him. I step close, hugging tight. His arms wrap me back, bony but strong. “Sorry, man,” he says, voice cracking. “I get it now.” My heart swells, warm and real. “Me too,” I say, hoarse. My tears soak his shirt, quick and hot.

We pull back, grinning dumb. Ryan steps up, hand out. “Good to see you,” he says, low. Jake shakes it, nodding slow. “Yeah,” he says, quiet. My chest feels big, family fixing slow. We head inside, Ryan’s place warm and bright. My jeans stick to me, sweaty from before. Jake drops his bag, skateboard clattering loud. “Nice,” he says, looking around. My stomach flutters, light and good. “Sit,” I say, pointing at the couch. My voice shakes a little, happy and sure.

Ryan grabs beers, cold and wet. My hands shake, popping mine open. Foam spills a little, sticky on my fingers. Jake takes one, grinning big. “To us,” he says, lifting it high. My chest warms, proud and real. “To us,” I say, clinking cans. Ryan nods, sipping slow. My beer’s sharp, buzzing my head fast. We sit close, couch sagging under us. My leg presses Ryan’s, warm and solid. Jake leans back, laughing soft. “You two are loud,” he says, teasing. My face burns, red and quick.

We drink more, cans piling up. My head’s light, giggles spilling out. Jake tells a dumb story, some guy falling off a board. My stomach hurts, laughing hard. Ryan’s hand lands on my thigh, squeezing light. My breath catches, warm and dumb. “You’re funny,” I say to Jake, slurring a little. My chest’s loose, happy and free. He smirks, sipping slow. “You’re drunk,” he says, low. My grin’s big, nodding fast. “Yeah,” I say, loud. Ryan laughs, deep and real. My heart’s wild, full of them.

Beers run low, room spinning slow. My chest’s buzzing, warm and wild. Ryan’s eyes catch mine, dark and sneaky. My stomach flips, hot and fast. “Bathroom,” he says, standing quick. His hand grabs mine, pulling me up. My legs wobble, shaky and dumb. “Be back,” I say to Jake, giggling soft. He rolls his eyes, waving us off. My heart jumps, excited and quick. We stumble down the hall, hands tangled tight. My chest heaves, needy and real.

We hit the bathroom, door shutting fast. My back slams the sink, cold under my jeans. Ryan’s on me, lips hard and wet. My hands grab his shirt, yanking it up. His chest’s bare, warm on mine. My jeans drop quick, boxers too. He’s hard, pressing close. My breath’s fast, shaky with him. “Quick,” I say, giggling loud. My voice slurs, drunk and dumb. He nods, grinning big. My knees bend, sinking fast. My mouth finds his cock, hot and thick.

I suck hard, lips tight around him. My tongue swirls fast, wet and messy. He groans low, hands in my hair. My head bobs, quick and wild. Spit drips down my chin, warm and slick. His cock throbs, hard in my mouth. My hands grip his thighs, nails digging light. “Cody,” he says, voice rough. My chest bursts, warm and proud. I go faster, sucking deep. His hips rock slow, pushing in. My throat’s tight, taking him all. Giggles spill out, muffled and dumb.

He’s close, breath fast and loud. My tongue licks hard, tip to base. His hands tug my hair, shaky and wild. I feel him pulse, hot and quick. He comes fast, spilling warm in my mouth. I swallow quick, giggling loud. My chest heaves, happy and real. He pulls me up, kissing sloppy. My lips tingle, tasting him. My jeans stay down, legs shaky. “Love you,” he says, soft. My heart skips, warm and fast. “Love you too,” I say, slurring big.

A bang hits the door. Loud. Hard. My eyes snap wide, heart jumping quick. “I hear you, assholes!” Jake yells, laughing rough. My face burns, red and hot. Ryan grins, pulling me close. “Busted,” he says, low. My giggles burst out, loud and dumb. We stumble up, jeans yanked on fast. My hands shake, fixing my hair. His arm wraps my waist, warm and tight. My chest’s full, family sealed strong. We open the door, flushed and messy.

Jake’s there, smirking big. “Gross,” he says, teasing loud. My stomach flips, happy and warm. “Shut up,” I say, shoving him light. My voice slurs, drunk and real. Ryan laughs, arm staying on me. My chest heaves, steady with them. We flop back to the couch, cans clinking loud. My head’s spinning, light and good. Jake kicks my foot, grinning soft. “You’re okay,” he says, quiet. My throat burns, full of him. “You too,” I say, soft. My eyes sting, proud and sure.

We sit close, room warm and blurry. My leg presses Ryan’s, solid and real. Jake leans back, sipping slow. My chest feels big, love loud and free. “Sober’s good,” he says, low. My heart swells, warm and steady. “Yeah,” I say, nodding fast. Ryan’s hand rubs my back, gentle and warm. My breath slows, cozy with them. “Family,” he says, soft. My chest bursts, happy and real. My hand finds his, squeezing tight. We’re sealed, drunk and true.

Time slips slow, night deep and dark. My body’s heavy, sinking in. Ryan’s arm stays on me, warm and sure. My head rests on his shoulder, nose in his neck. He smells like beer and us, sharp and good. My chest’s calm, steady with them. “Missed this,” Jake says, quiet. My throat tightens, warm and dumb. “Me too,” I say, slurring soft. Ryan nods, breath hot on my hair. My heart’s loud, full of us. We’re together, ties strong and real.

Then a crash cuts through. Loud. Sharp. Outside. My eyes snap open, heart jumping fast. Ryan sits up quick, pulling me with him. My stomach drops, cold and quick. “What was that?” I ask, voice shaky. He stands fast, eyes wide. “Cody, stay here,” he says, low. His voice shakes, soft and scared. “Wait,” he whispers, turning quick.
