Chapter 77

Landon's POV

It was the day Brandon and I would finally be Marking Ariel and making her ours forever. I had never been as happy as I was, knowing Ariel would always be with me.

It seems crazy the way everything was

"You ready, bro? It is almost time to get to the room. I don't want Ariel making it there before we do," Brandon said. I looked at myself in the mirror one last time and walked out of the bathroom.

"Okay, let's go," I said, and we left the room.

"Alphas, six Rogues have just crossed the border," Gabriel said

"What? We are on our way," Brandon replied. Brandon and I quickly undressed and shifted into our wolves.

"Let's hurry and take care of these Rogues quickly so we can make it to our mating ceremony in time. I am not going to let them mess up our night with Ariel," Brandon said

"I agree," I replied. When we got to the border, I could see Gabriel and Lee, one of the warriors fighting the Rogues. One of them was trying to escape, and I quickly followed him. When I got close to him, I lunged at him and bit his neck, ripping it apart. We quickly took care of the others and were left with one Rogue.

Brandon and I shifted back into our human form. "Shift," I told the Rogue, using my Alpha tone, and the Rogue had no choice but to shift into his human form. Gabriel and Lee quickly shifted back into their human forms as well.

"Take him to a cell. We will interrogate him after the weekend," Brandon said. The Rogue began to laugh, causing everyone to look at him.

"You won't be having a Mating Ceremony," The Rogue said

"What are you talking about?" I asked

"I am sure my friend has already gotten to her."

"What friend? We just killed all your friends. You are the only one left," Brandon said

"There was one more of us. He snuck right past your warrior and Beta." Brandon and I looked at each other and instantly took off running.

"Take him to a cell. Don't let him out of your sight," I mind-linked while Brandon and I ran towards the Packhouse.

"Yes, Alpha," Gabriel said. Finally, Brandon and I made it to our mom's floor. The door was open, and when we walked in, I was shocked at the sight I was seeing. I knew Brandon was also shocked because he was staring at Ariel with his mouth wide open.

"Ariel's eyes had changed from green to red, and there was fire coming out of her hands. She had burned a woman that was in my mom's room alive.

I noticed the man my mom and sister were by and knew he was the Rogue the other one was talking about in the woods. It looked like they were just fighting and stopped when Ariel burned up the woman. I quickly went over to the Rogue, holding onto him so he wouldn't get away.

Brandon must have mind-linked some warriors because a few seconds later, some were on y mom's floor.

"Take the Rogue to a cell," Brandon said, and two of the warriors grabbed the Rogue and left.

"Ariel, are you okay, Angel?" I asked when the warriors left. She seemed shocked by what had happened.

"I set her on fire," Ariel said and sat on the ground. Brandon and I sat next to her.

"It is okay, Princess. You did what you had to do," Brandon said. I wrapped my hands around her and pulled her to me. I could feel her inhaling my scent.

"You don't think I am evil? Tabatha said mostly evil witches kill with fire," Ariel asked, making my heart ache. How could she think she was evil?

"Baby, there is no way you are evil. You are the most loving and caring woman in the world. Don't ever think like that," I said

"So you both still want me?" Ariel asked

"Of course, we still want you, Princess. You are ours, and we love you," Brandon said.

"Yes, Angel. Nothing will ever change the way we fill about you," I added.

"Maybe we should cancel the Mating and Marking Ceremony tonight. I am sure everyone will understand after everything that happened tonight. We can make it for next weekend," My mom said

"That might be a good idea," I said, and Ariel began to cry.

"What's wrong, Princess?" Brandon asked worriedly

"I knew you guys didn't want me now," Ariel said, shocking us. She must have thought we didn't want her because we were worried about her after what happened today and felt she needed to rest.

"Angel, that is not true. We want you more than anything in the world. We thought you might need to rest after what just happened," I said

"So you still want me to be your Mate and Luna?" She asked, looking at us innocently.

"Yes, more than anything in this world. You have no idea how badly we want to mark you tonight," Brandon replied

"Then do it. I don't want to wait," Ariel said, and Brandon and I smiled.

"If you are sure you are okay to go through with the Ceremony tonight. Then, we will gladly finish the mating process with you," Brandon said

"Good, because that is what I want," Ariel replied

"Okay, then it's settled," Brandon said. Laura cleared her throat, causing everyone to look at her.

"I am sorry to interrupt your moment, but we have one more problem," Laura said

"What is that?" I asked

"Keven got away," Laura said

"What do you mean he got away?" I asked, confused.
