I shake my head to snap out of it and put my hands on his broad chest to try and push him away from me, but he is too strong. With one swift motion, he grabs ahold of my waist, snaps me up like I am nothing, and throws me over his shoulder.
"I am not letting you go so soon.” His warm breath against my ear made me gasp for air. Chills invaded my skin as he breathed down my neck. It was an unfamiliar feeling, and I wasn’t sure if I liked it or not. No man has ever come so close to me before.
With one swift motion he grabbed ahold of my waist and threw me over his shoulder while I squealed. The guard behind him has some evil smirk on his face like he knew what was about to happen.
“ Put me down you Barbarian.” I shouted, hitting hard into his back.
‘ SMACK!’
The sound echoed through the dungeon as he slapped me on the ass.
“ How dare you lay a hand on me you...You.. Barbarian!”
“ Behave yourself Little One, or my hand might collide with your perky ass once more.”
“ You wouldn’t dare.” He glared over his shoulder, giving me a smirk. By the looks of that smirk, it told me that he might smack me again.
“ If you want to act like a child, I will treat you like one.” He commented, making my now aware of the situation. But how would he act if someone kept him against his will.
The Barbarian sauntered out of the dungeon with me on his shoulder. I kick and scream once more while trying to get free from his clutches but fail miserably.
“ SMACK!”
Once again, his hand collided hard with ma ass, causing it to burn.
“ I warned you.” He said in a gruff tone.
“ Please put me down.” I plead.
“ Are you going to leave if I do?” I don’t know what it is to him in anyway.
“ Yes, I am going to go back home. I should have never came here in the first place!”
“ I am sorry Little One, then I am not going to put you down.”
“ Why did you release me from that sell, if you are not going to let me go?”
“ I have my reasons.” Hearing him say that made my entire body turn completely cold.
I fear for my life, because I don’t know where this man is going to take me over his shoulder, I can only think of the worst.
If he is not going to let me go, then I will at least put up a fight. So, I start to kick and scream as loud as I could, but I was weak and tired from the lack of sleep. He heads up a staircase what looked like a thousand stairs. He climbs the stairs with ease with me on his shoulders, until we reach a big double wooden door.
He flungs the door wide open and to my surprise, the inside was also covered in white marble with touches of gold on the furniture and on the fabrics that are beautifully cascaded over the bed. It is hard to make out how the place looks when you are hanging upside down.
The Jerk walked over to the bed and throws me down on the bed before turning around and walking back to the door and locking it. He shoves the key in his trousers pocket and the little hope I had of escaping vanished.
How am I going to retrieve the key from his back pocket if he is built like an ox. If things couldn’t get any worse, he turns around facing the bed, staring straight into my eyes. I couldn’t help but notice his eyes darkening. How is that even possible?
He slowly lurks closer and with every step he take, I could feel my soule leaving my body piece by piece. It is the most terrifying feeling ever.
There is this look in his eyes that look’s like pain, or anger. I can’t quite put my finger on it. As he reached the bed, I scurry backwards until my back was pressed up against the bed and there is nowhere else to go.
As I feared, he leaned down on the bed with all force, and crawls up to me. I close my eyes in fear, but I could feel his hot breath cascading onto my face and I know that he was right in front of me.
I dare not look, but the temptation is overtaking me. I open my eyes, only to look into pitch black eyes that only could be demon eyes. I scream in fear, and he looked startled. Without approaching any closer, he jumped off the bed and turned his back towards me.
“ Sorry, It happens from time to time.” He says in a deep faint voice.
“ What are you, a demon?” I dare to ask, even though I am afraid of what the answer might be.
“ It is of no concern to you.” I flinch as he growls. He walks over to a couch and slumps down into it, burying his face in his palms. He looked stressed, but from what, I did not know. I watch him ever so carefully as he sits still like a statue, and for the first time since this morning when he kissed me, I noticed how attractive he was. I did not notice it this morning because I was fuming with rage, but now looking at him while his so motionless, I notice his strong muscular body and his thick black locks that is draping just above his shoulders. With his muscular body, he must be the kings head guard or something.
He sits still like that for minutes, when suddenly he lifts his head and notices me staring at him. Without a word, he sprints up heading towards me. I panic and without knowing it, I backed up until my back was pressed up against the headboard again. There was nowhere to go. I instantly regret the decision, because now am pinned between the headboard and my captor.
He comes so close that he is face to face with me. I can feel his slow steady breath waft against my skin. The sensation makes me quiver and I close my eyes while turning my head away. He grabs ahold of my chin, turning it back and leans down to my ear.
“ There is no need to be afraid of me Little One. I am not going to hurt you.” He says in a low deep voice.
“ Then why did you bring me here to this room and lock me in here with you?”
“ Because you wanted to leave, and I don’t want you to.”
“ That is not a good enough reason to hold me captive in here.”
“ You said Merila brought you here and that she is your spirit animal, so that means you can’t just leave without saying bye.” He smirked, as if he knew he was about to win the argument.
“ Then why hasn’t she come to my aid yet? Why didn’t she come to look for me In the dungeon?”
“ Maybe, because she didn’t know that you were in the dungeons. Now, get some rest, you look tired from all the excitement. When you wake up in the morning, Meara would most likely be waiting for you at breakfast.” He steps back, gesturing to the bed.
“ I am not sleeping with you in the same bed.” I say stern and he scoffs at my remark.
“ Don’t flatter yourself Little One, you are not that good looking.” His words cut deep like a sharp knife piercing through my heart, reminding me of when I was in school and everyone would tease me for my pale skin and white hair. It is not that I want him to find me attractive. He is the last person I would want to find me appealing.
Without any words I crawled underneath the covers, his word still lingering in the back of my mind.
The bedding was so soft to the touch, making it feel like I am laying on a soft fluffy cloud. Only now do I notice how tired I actually am. I could still feel the perverts eyes from the back of my head staring at me. It didn’t feel uncomfortable with him staring, even though it should have.
I was more tired than I thought if I was about to fall asleep in a locked room with an abnormal sexy man I didn’t knew.
Did I just think that he was sexy ?
I must be more tired than I thought. I lift my head to peak over the edge of the bed and saw that the Jerk was settling down onto the couch, making himself comfortable. It looked like he was going to sleep there. Why couldn’t he just leave me alone in here, and go to sleep in another room?
“ Like what you see Sleeping Beauty?” He asked suddenly.
Shit, Shit! How did he know that I was watching him?
I lowered my head back down discreetly, and covered my head with the blanket, not giving him an answer about his question.
