Chapter 14: You Are Truly Pathetic
"I'm so amazing, can you give me a reward?"
His expression visibly relaxed.
Andy touched his little nose, first giving Jason a strange look, then cupping his face and continuing to act cute with Seraphine.
"Seraphine, tomorrow Dad and I are going to the amusement park. Will you come with us?"
"Sure."
He wassimply adorable. Seraphine couldn't refuse him.
"Then it's settled. Tomorrow, Dad and I will pick you up at Nicole's place."
Andy's eyes lit upas he remained seated on Jason's lap. He chatted with her for a long time before reluctantly hanging up the video call.
After dealing with him, Seraphine was exhausted. She took a quick shower and went straight to bed.
She didn't notice that after she fell asleep, her phone kept vibrating.
Among those trying to reach her were unknown numbers, , Vivian's friends, and elders from the Stuart Family.
She slept soundly through the night.

"Dad, Seraphine, come on, we're here."
The next morning, after having breakfast with joson and Andy, they took Jason's car to the amusement park.
"Seraphine, I want to ride the Ferris wheel."
"Oh, there's a carousel over there. Can we go ride it together?"
Andy really loved the amusement park. As soon as they enter , he grabbed Seraphine and Jason's hands, making them take turns accompanying him on all the rides that interested him.
Seraphine and Jason were helpless against him and could only try their best to satisfy all his requests.
Time flew by, and soon it was lunchtime.
"Andy, let's do the rest of the rides this afternoon, okay?"
"I made a restaurant reservation. Let's go have lunch."
"You're still young. If you don't eat on time, your stomach will hurt."
Seeing that Andy was still excited and didn't seem to feel hungry at all, Seraphine hesitated for a moment before pulling back Andy, who wanted to take her on the pirate ship.
Honestly, when she stopped Andy, Seraphine was already prepared to be scolded by him.
In the past, whenever she interrupted Sean while he was playing games with Vivian, Sean would get angry.
"I'm not hungry at all right now. Mom. Are you deliberately trying to go against me by making me eat?"
"Why do i have to eat at the time you decide? " So stubborn."
That's what Sean had said back then.
Andy was about the same age as Sean, so he probably didn't like being controlled either.
"Wow, is it already time to eat? I didn't even notice!"
"Seraphine, you're so thoughtful . Even in a place as exciting as the amusement park, you still remember to remind me to eat."
"Where's the restaurant you booked? Seraphine, I want to eat strawberry cake."
Just as was recalling how Sean had scolded her earlier, a pair of armssuddenly wrapped around hers.
Seraphine froze and instinctively looked down, immediately meeting a pair of eyes full of laughter and admiration.
"Seraphine, were you spacing out just now?"
Andy blinked and repeated what he had said earlier, his eyes gleaming .
"Seraphine, on the way to the restaurant, can we buy a strawberry cake? We'll share it and not give any to Dad."
"Andy, I'm still standing right here next to you."
As soon as Andy finished speaking, before Seraphine could respond, Jason raised his hand and tapped Andy's head.
"Ow! Seraphine, save me, Dad's hitting me."
Andy yelped and immediately covered his head, shrinking into Seraphine's arms.
"Mr. Hearst, Andy was obviously joking. As his father, you shouldn't get angry with him over such a small thing, and you definitely shouldn't hit Andy's head. You'll scare him."
It seemed Andy's act was very successful with her.
She still hadn't realized that Andy was a little devil with extremely high intelligence and far more cunning than his peers.
Jason looked at the serious-faced Seraphine, then at Andy hiding in her arms and secretly making faces at him, and pressed his lips together helplessly.
"Ms. Lavien, you're absolutely right. I was too harsh just now. How about this—to show my apology, you and Andy go straight to the restaurant, and I'll find a cake shop to buy you the cake."
"Thank you, Mr. Hearst."
Seraphine hadn't expected him to apologize so readily. After a moment of surprise, she gave him a warm smile, then carried Andy toward the restaurant she'd reserved.
The restaurant was halfway up the mountain, requiring a long climb up stairs to reach it.
Seraphine didn't usually exercise, and after carrying Andy for just a short distance, she was tired.
"Seraphine, you can put me down. I can walk by myself."
Noticing the sweat on her forehead, Andy touched her face with concern.
"Okay, I'll hold your hand, and we'll walk the rest of the way slowly..."
Seraphine smiled at him and immediately crouched down and carefully set him on the ground.
"Seraphine, you really do love taking care of kids. Your own son doesn't want you anymore, and now you're raising someone else's child."
"But no matter how cute someone else's child is, they can't compare to your own, right?"
"Why don't you beg me? Maybe I'll be generous enough to let Charles and Sean go back to see you."
Just as Andy steadied himself on his feet, a voice full of malice came from behind Seraphine.
"Vivian? What are you doing here?"
Seraphine turned around, frowning at the woman standing above her.
Today, Vivian was wearing a pink athletic outfit, her face made up perfectly, looking healthy—nothing like someone with terminal cancer.
"I'm here at the amusement park to relax. Charles and Sean are here, too."
"Seraphine, you know what? You're truly pathetic. Even if you offer all your love to Charles and Sean, they won't appreciate it."
"The person they like is me. I could easily lure them away from you."
"You don't realize it yet, do you? I deliberately made Charles take me on that overseas vacation when you were sick."
"And I made Charles take wedding photos with me just to hurt you."
"Just wait. Just wait ....it won't be long before i completely replace you and become Mrs. Stuart."
Perhaps because Charles and Sean were never close , this time when facing Seraphine, Vivian didn't pretend to be fragile.
She simply crossed her armsand looked at Seraphine with contempt, her tone was clod and certain .
