Chapter 23: The tutor.
Hi guys! Teresa Earland here!!!
If you’ve made it this far, congratulations! So, I would like to give a quick rundown of the story from the beginning to clear up any confusion and refresh our memories.
\~~~~~
Luana is a 20-year-old witch who was sent on a test in Vacuità.
Only after passing this test could she join the Sisters, a high-ranking witch organization.
Unfortunately, she failed due to Cassandra’s trickery and ended up becoming the Demon King’s prisoner.
Now believed to be a Golden Witch, a very powerful asset, she was forced by the King to use her powers to serve him and the kingdom.
Bound to serve the same people she hated, people who treated the witch race like nothing more than trash, Luana was devastated, angry, and filled with hatred, especially toward the Demon King.
She wanted nothing to do with him and saw him as nothing more than a tormentor.
They hated each other deeply and considered themselves enemies.
However, with constant interaction and forced conversations, the cracks in their walls slowly began to break, leading to understanding, friendship, and even love?.
Luana had many adventures with the group; Harry, Stefano, and Riccardo. They traveled to the Human Realm, the Ice Crystal Pack, the Forest of Illusione, met a unicorn, humans, and werewolves.
They experienced many challenges and trials together. These adventures formed the strong bond they now share.
Ricardo has realized his feelings for Luana, but he decides to let her go. As they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder, but will it happen with these two?
A witch and a demon? An abomination made in hell.
Keep reading to find out more. Thank you! Muahh!!

LUANA'S POV
“Now hurry up, your instructor is downstairs!.”
I nodded, then rushed to get ready. I styled my hair into a braided ponytail and put on my training clothes; a shirt and pants. The shirt had a belt that could be tied at the side or at the back.
I carefully placed the pin Ric gave me in my drawer. I didn't want it to get lost while training.
When I arrived at the training grounds, I saw a tall man wearing a dark coat and a dark hat. He had spectacles on. Beside him stood a young lady with purple hair. She was quite petite, I was taller than her, but she looked intimidating.
On seeing me, the man removed his hat and smiled. He had dark hair and deep brown eyes.
“Good morning. I’m Massimo, your new tutor, and this is Fiona, your assistant.”
“Good morning, sir. I’m Luana. Nice to meet both of you. I look forward to learning a lot from you,”
I said.
He chuckled. “All right, let’s begin.”
“How good are you with the elements?” Massimo asked.
“I’m really good with water and fire, but the rest not so much.”
“Hm,” he paced around, thinking.
Then, in the blink of an eye, he flung two daggers toward me. Unconsciously, I used wind magic to redirect them into a tree.
“What was that for?” I asked.
“That was training. Golden witches are masters of the elements. Consciously or unconsciously, your unconscious reflexes work fine.” He paused, then conjured a rock.
“Now,” he continued, “let’s work on your conscious control.” Try lifting this rock, not through levitation, but with air.”
I took a deep breath and concentrated on lifting the rock, but it wouldn’t budge. I tried again, adjusting my focus from different angles, but nothing happened.
“Allow me master”. The girl with the purple hair spoke.
Master? Ohh right. Every Golden witch has an assistant. But does she know how to do it?
“Sure”. I said, noticing she was waiting for an answer.
She readied her stance and with her index finger only, she twirled the air around her fingers and directed it towards the rock, lifting it effortlessly.
My eyes widened. Such immense power. I thought assistants were supposed to learn from their masters, but in this case, I have a lot to learn from her.
“Very good Fiona. Luana you too, it's your first time and you made an attempt. We'll try again after a break”. Massimo said with a smile.
I nodded. Training was going to be tough.

“So she just lifted it effortlessly? Damn she must be strong” Sokka asked as he ate.
We were having lunch in the cafeteria.
“That's incredible. Even I'm not good at water yet but I can tell that air is hard” Mirabell spoke as she turned her food.
She must have had a lot of practice. Master Massimo seems strong. I think I discovered I was a golden witch late, I think she knew all along” I said.
I could sense raw and powerful magic from Massimo and Fiona. Why hadn't we seen them before? Or were they only tutors for golden witches?
“May I sit here master?” I turned to my right to see Fiona beside me.
“Fiona?” I called.
“Yes master”. She replied.
“You can sit please, and stop calling me master, you can call me Luana”. I said with a smile.
“But you are my master”. She said. She behaved and spoke like a robot.
The others looked at me in admiration.
“Yes…i know but now, I'm telling you not to call me master but luana”. I said.
“No master”. She said.
“What?” I asked.
“No master, I'll not stop calling you master”.
Some of the others laughed, this girl could be really stubborn.
I sighed. It was no use convincing her. She took a seat near me and started to eat.
“Say, you're really pretty..what's your name?” Alfred, the guy from the other table asked as he spotted her.
She gave him a hard glare, forcing him to back away.
“Master, do you want more food? I can give you mine?” She asked.
By the stars!.
“No, I'm fine, please eat”. I said, trying to muster the sweetest smile I could give. Doesn't she have a mind of her own? I'll have to teach her that.
“So, if you call your master by her name will something happen?” Mirabell asked.
“Yes. I’ll die”. She said.
I choked on my water.
What???
