I didn't bother taking my change, or even turn around to tell the cab driver to keep the change, but I guess he'd get the message. I was so worried something's happened to Megan, so I raced to our door and pushed it open.
"Megan? Meg?!" I shouted panickedly as I rushed into our living room.
My eyes scanned the living room, but she wasn't nowhere to be found, which made a terrifying thought crossed my mind.. don't tell me she's committing suicide in her room!
Without thinking twice and fearing that my thought might be true, I dashed towards her room and quickly pushed the door open and rushed in.
"Meg? Megan, don't do anything stup..."
My words were left unfinished when someone suddenly jumped on my back, I didn't have to turn around to know who it was, because her perfume flooded my nostrils.
"I JUST GOT A JOB!" she screamed in my ear.
"A job?"
"Yeah!"
Her arms went around my neck and she hugged me tighter, then began peppering my right cheek with happy kisses from behind.
"Fuçk, you're choking me, honey" I said when I felt her grip getting somewhat tighter.
"Oops! I'm so sorry, darling" she apologized and quickly got off me, but not before placing a soothing kiss on my left cheek. "Come on, come on, let me tell you all about it"
She put her hands on my shoulders, and guided me to the couch near the window in her room, then we sat down.
"So, I was just..."
"Wait" I interrupted her. "You sounded worried earlier when you called me, what's going on? Is there something urgent you wanted to talk to me about?"
Her brows furrowed slightly as if she's confused, but it was soon replaced with a wide smile.
"I called you because I wanted to tell you about my new job"
Now it's my turn for my eyebrows to furrow, I gave her a strange and confused look.
"You called because you wanted to tell me about your new job?" I asked with my left eyebrow raised.
"Yeah"
My brows furrowed more.
"Then why did you sounded so worried? Like, there was this urgency in your voice that made me think you were in danger. Did something happen to..."
My words were cut off by her chuckles, which made me frown but shook her head.
"I guess I gave you a scare there" she reached for my hands. "Darling, I was just too eager to share my good news with you"
I released a sigh of relief, I guess my mind wasn't settled yet, until she told me the real she called me so urgently.
"Have mercy on my poor heart, will ya? I thought something bad had happened to you" I sighed again. "Well, how did you get the job? And where will you be working at?" I asked.
"Yeah, yeah"
She adjusted herself on the couch, and coughed to clear up her throat. I mentally rolled my eyeballs as I braced myself, awaiting her overdramatic and exaggerated narration.
"I have been surfing the internet since you left, but there wasn't no vacancies and I was about to give up"
She paused, wiped off some imaginary sweats off her forehead, and inhaled deeply as though she's being running a marathon, and finally have time to rest.
Get on with the story, will ya? -I mentally screamed impatiently.
"I was about giving up, but God looked down on me and have mercy on me, my phone rang but I realized it's an unknown number"
She paused again, got up and began walking towards her window, she pushed the doors wide open and inhaled deeply.
I facepalm myself, and couldn't help imagining when she's gonna be done with her narrative essay, and tell me where she's gonna be working at.
"I didn't wanna answer the phone, but there was a small voice whispering in my ear.. pick up the phone, Meg, pick it up, it might be something important..."
"Meg" I cut in. "Just tell me where you're gonna be working at, when you're resuming and what kind of job you're gonna be doing there?" I asked when I couldn't wait for her to finish her story.
"Shhhh!" she shushed me with a scolding frown. "Don't interrupt me when I'm talking"
"But I..."
"I'm giving you the details, listen carefully" she said firmly, leaving no room for any arguments.
I raised my hands in surrender, then gestured her to continue. She glared playfully at me for a moment, before continuing.
"Where was I again?" she asked.
"You didn't wanna pick up..."
"Yeah, yeah" she signaled me to shut up. "I didn't wanna pick up, but..."
Only God knows when she's gonna finish this story -I grumbled mentally as I leaned back on the couch, into a comfortable position.

*Few moments later**
"... and that's how I got the job!" Megan concluded.
A yawn escaped my mouth, but I quickly gulped it down and nodded.
"I'm so happy for you, Meg, but where are you gonna be working at?"
Can you imagine this girl? Even after her narration, she still didn't say where she's gonna be working at.. I wonder how she managed to graduate high school.
"Sin" she answered.
"Sin?"
"Yep"
"But I thought you've offended the boss, and lost the chance of getting a job there"
She pouted her lips and shrugged. I gasped and my eyes widened frighteningly as a thought crossed my mind.
"Maybe they offered you the job because the boss wanna take his revenge on you" I said.
Megan stayed silent and thought about it for a moment, then narrowed her eyes.
"Then I'll play this game with him too"
"What?"
"I'll show him how difficult of a person I am" she said with a smirk.
I scoffed at her words, but didn't say anything and simply nodded in agreement.
Maybe this is just how she's decided to vent her heartbreak, I'll just leave her be for now and come to her rescue when I feel like it's time to stop.
I cleared my throat.
"And now to celebrate your success in getting a job, let's go to Joan's and get wasted"
Meg grinned at once, she nodded enthusiastically and sprang up at once -oh, Joan's our favorite clubbing house.
"Yeah, and today's Monday, it's mask night!"
"Piss off, I totally forgot about that"
"It's gonna be fun, we're gonna be having so much fun tonight!" she said in a singsong tone.
Then she reached for my hands, pulled me up and we both started jumping round and round excitedly.

*SIN**
"So?" Jonathan asked as he impatiently tapped his finger on his desk.
"I've called and informed her that she's got the job, she's gonna be resuming tomorrow, sir"
"Fuçk, yeah!" Jonathan exclaimed excitedly while punching his fists the air to show his excitement.
But he quickly cleared his throat and comported himself, when he realized he wasn't alone in the office.
"Carry on with your work"
"Yes, sir" Mike replied and rushed out before he'd be given another task.
"Whoops!" Jonathan swivelled his chair around a few minutes. "You didn't see this coming, right?" he asked while staring at a passport photograph.

*07:13pm**
The rest of the day passed in a blur and before we knew it, it's only 07:13.
We're currently in a cab and on our way to Joan's.
"Right, I forgot to ask you earlier, how was today's class?" Meg asked right after getting off the phone with her ex colleague.
My lips curved into a smile at her question, my mind briefly replayed the scene from today's class and I bite my lower lip hungrily.
"Hotter than yesterday's class" I replied her.
"Oh wow, it's really surprising how much you're praising your teacher"
She paused and nudged me slightly with her shoulder, and she wagged her eyebrows teasingly at me.
"He must be fuçking you real good" she said.
This statement caught the cab driver's attention, he quickly turned around and gave us a disgusted look. Megan became shy, she flashed him an apologetic smile and leaned closer to my ear.
"I was too loud just now" she whispered.
I furrowed my brows.
"You didn't have to whisper what you've just said" I told in her a normal tone.
She rolled her eyeballs and sighed. "I know that"
Then silence fell on us. My phone beeped as a notification popped up, and I saw it's a text from Jimmy.
My friends and I are going to Joan's, are you free to join us?
His friends? Ooh, I bet there are gonna be lots of hot guys among his friends.
Yeah, Meg and I are on our way too I replied quickly.
"Er, Ella, you've had sèx with your teacher today, right?"
I nodded and raised my brows at her to continue.
"Are you still gonna have another sèx tonight?" she asked.
I scoffed and nodded again.
"Fuçk yeah"
"Huh?"
"There's nothing wrong with having an extra dîck tonight" I sighed dreamily, obviously anticipating the size of dîck or dîcks I'm gonna slam into my hole tonight.
Megan simply rolled her eyeballs, then gave me a thumbs up and gave her attention back to her phone.
Then the rest of the ride continued in silence.
