Anna’s POV:
Just sleep if you’re tired. I’ll stay with you,” he whispered softly.
The voice sounded strange–too comforting to be Seth’s, I s

should’ve been embarrassed that he was seeing me like this, all sad and
The chl Seth would’ve mocked the mercilessly. But honestly, I was beyond caring. I’d already accepted that Blake wanted to have a child with someone else. What was Seth’s teasing compared to that?
I was completely drained. Ever since we got back from our honeymen, I’d been running around with the coral reef project report, barely taking a moment to breathe. Then everything hit me the emotional rollercoaster that left me feeling hollow inside.
My body and mind couldn’t take any y more. I couldn’t fight anymore, gave in, leaning into Seth’s embrace as consciousness slipped
away.
In my dreams, I was back at the beginning of my marriage to Blake. We were happy then–or at least I thought we were. I remembered hör Claire had suddenly fallen seriously ill just after our wedding, inserting herself permanently into our lives from
that moment on.
It struck me that some questions don’t need verification–deep down 1 already knew the answers.
When I woke up, my chest still ached, but the pain Blake had caused felt somewhat processed, like a wound that had started to scab
DICE
I was still exhausted, but the emotions from my dream pushed me forward. I found my phone on the nightstand where Seth had placed it and opened my messages.
Without hesitation, I sent all the evidence, including Claires recording, to the Wright family group chat. William and Caroline needed to see what their precious daughter was really like. The perfect, delicate ballerina wasn’t so innocent after all.
I promised Blake I wouldn’t make this public, but I never promised not to show his family. Maybe seeing her true colors is the best punishment for Claire.
After sending everything, I left the group chat and tossed my phone aside.
Í glanced around at my surroundings. The apartment was nearly empty–just a few pieces of furniture, like someone had recently moved in. A bed, a nightstand, and a chair in the commer
Clothes were piled everywhere, not put away in closets. Men’s clothes–expensive brands carelessly tossed around.
This had to be Seth’s new place, recently moved into and waiting for someone to organize it. Typical Seth, I thought. Always chaotic.
Sty phone started ringing. Claire, I answered without thinking,
“How could you?” Her voice was shaking. “You promised you wouldn’t tell anyone!”
“I promised I wouldn’t make it public,” I corrected her. “I never said anything about family.”
Het voice shifted from pleading to threatening as I listened impassively. Tears, then rage, then desperate bargaining
“It’s too late,” I said flatly. “I can’t take it back now. They ve all seen it.

Chapter 119
“You’ll regret this, Anna,” she filssed. Blake will never forgive you.
“There’s nothing left to forgive, I replied before hanging up.
The next call was from Blake, I stared at his name flashing on the seen, not knowing how to respond. What could be possibly say how? All I could feel was the humiliation of being discarded.
Insages of Blake in London, looking for Scarlett, flooded my mind,
Suddenly, Seth appeared and snatched the phone from my hand. I ha his knuckles, a cool smile playing on his lips, before answering make call.
ven heard him com In. He tapped my head lightly with
“Mr. Wright.” be answered, his voice deceptively casual. “Yes, It’s me. She’s with me.” Seth bent closer to me as his tone turned cold. “Don’t mention it. If you can’t take care of her, I will!”
After hanging up. Seth cursed, “Damn! What a guy!”
I pushed him away, suddenly aware of how close he was. “Why are you so close? Are you crazy?”
You’re the Crazy one,” he retorted, but there was no real bite to his words. He inoked almost….. concerned? That couldn’t be right. Seth Price didn’t do concern.
I must have fallen back asleep after that, because the next thing I knew, sunlight was streaming through unfamiliar windows, and I was waking up in an unfamiliar bed.
eth was standing over me, arms crossed, looking impatient.
“Finally! I thought you were in a comal I’ve been trying to wake you up for breakfast for ages!” he complained
I pulled the blanket tighter around me, suddenly feeling vulnerable. Not hungry
That’s when I realized I was wearing a white men’s dress shirt instead of my evening gown from the night before. Worse–I was
naked underneath.
I gasped, clutching the blanket to my chest. “Where are my clothes? I demanded.
Seth laughed, apparently finding my horror amusing. “You didn’t think I’d let you into my bed with that dirty dress, did you? I could barely stand touching you when I carried you in“
My face burned with humiliation and anger. “Do you even understand the concept of boundaries between men and women?” I nearly
shouted
“What’s the big deal? When we were kids, wo used to
“But we’re not
kids anymore
anymore!” I cut him off coldly.
Something changed in Seth’s expression. The playful mockery vanished, replaced by something more intense. He knelt on the bed. and grabbed my hand. His palm was warm against my skin.
So you admit we’ve grown up?” His voice was softer now. Then why can’t you see that I’m a man now? You always treat me like a child, but then get upset when I treat you the same way!!
He looked vulnerable, almost pitiful. My anger subsided slightly, confused by this unexpected side of Soth
“Just get out,” I said, controlling my voice. We’ll forget this ever happened. This stays between us.

Seth closed his eyes, then opened them with a mischievous glint. The vulnerable moment was gone, replaced by the Seth I nee better. “What if I don’t want to forget? Wh
“You Wouldn 1. Dare. I ground but each word.
Try me,” Seth challenged, leaning closer. There’s nothing Seth Price doesn’t dare to do. It’s just stealing another man’i woman— would Blake really turn against me for you? Anna, how much do you think you actually matter to him?”
His words hit their target with painful accuracy.
“You call me childish, but you’re the naive one,” he continued, twisting the knife.
Each word cut deep. I knew fay position in Blake’s heart was precarious, but hearing it from someone else made it unbearable.
The Wrights found some woman from who knows where. She’s already done medical tests with Blake. They’ll be doing IVF on the first auspicious date they can find. And you’re still acting like a fool-
“Enough! Shut up!” I hissed, feeling like I might shatter.
I was trumbling inside. I knew about this plan, had even heard Blake discussing it on the phone, but hearing it from Seth’s mouth made. it real in a way I couldn’t handle.
“It’s fine if you can’t have children,” he pressed on. “I don’t want kids anyway. They’re annoying
