Chapter 49: KISS ME

Enzo POV

“So, do you regret what we had? Or do you prefer whatever deals you’re making with Carlos?” I pondered on what Diana said as I could hear the hurt from her voice then.

I was stuck Francesca finding out now wasn’t a good thing , I haven’t dealt with Carlos yet, him finding out that I want Diana would be hell for myself , all these questions kept on making me go forth and back in my room.

“Enzo!” I heard Francesca voice as she burst into my room

“Oh not again !!!” I said to my self as I turned towards her with a straight face

“ is it true or not?” She asked inquisitively

“What are you talking about Francesca? “ I asked raising one eyebrow up

“Is it true you and Diana had a night together ?” She said but she got no response from me as I kept on looking at her , I wasn’t even ready to give her an answer , it seems Diana had clouded my mind, as I remembered the look on Diana face when she sent me out of the room, I couldn’t say no I won’t want to hurt Diana, I wanted her to be mine now , and I couldn’t say yes either , that would be trouble with Carlos

“You know what, since you are not going to reply me, I’ll get my answers myself “ she said as I looked at her puzzled wondering how she was going to do that.

“I’m still your partner you know right ??” She said as I still looked at her with a straight face wondering what she actually wanted as she came came closer and walked slowly to me holding my shirt and dragging me closer to her.

“Kiss me” she said as I looked at her stunned while she repeated it again.

“Kiss me, that the only way it proves you has nothing with her” she said as I looked at her confused.

There wasn’t any emotion or anything , tho I used to make out with her without emotions , but right now I didn’t feel like doing anything to her , no sense of sexual urge was in me.

“What was I supposed to do, I needed to thread carefully with her or at least deceive her till I had Carlos situation under control and at same time  I wanted Diana, and after dealing with Carlos I’ll be with Diana fully , but for now I have to deal with this issue” I said to myself as I placed my lips on Francesca trying to focus as she responded to me.

The kiss continued as I grew tired but I knew I had to continue to send a better message as I thought of Diana while kissing her, deepening the kiss I wrapped my arms around her.

“Enzo” she called out, as my head jolted back that it was Francesca I was with while I moved slowly away from her ,

“We can do this some other time” I said to her as she smiled , “ I need to talk to  a business partner Francesca “ I said quietly as she smiled pecked me and left.

Reaching over to the table I dialed Franco number , “I need you in my room now “ I said as I kept the telephone back.

"Hello boss," Franco said, walking into the room with a nod. It had been only a few minutes since our phone call, and I could tell he was curious about why I had summoned him so urgently.

"Have a seat," I said, gesturing to the chair in front of me. Franco sat down, his eyes fixed on mine, waiting for me to explain the purpose of our meeting.

"You sent for me, sir?" he asked, breaking the brief silence.

"Yes, I need to get the house setting from Carlos," I said directly, my eyes narrowing slightly. "He's already gotten it from Francesca ."

Franco's expression didn't change, but I could sense a flicker of awareness in his eyes. "Don't think it's necessary, sir," he said calmly.

I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean? I need that setting back, and I expect you to retrieve it from Carlos."

Franco's face remained neutral, but his tone hinted at caution. "Sir, perhaps it would be better if you spoke with Carlos directly about this. I'm not sure I'm the best person to—"

"I didn't ask for your opinion, Franco," I cut in, my voice firm. "I asked you to get the setting from Carlos. See to it."

Franco nodded slowly, his eyes locked on mine. "Yes, sir. I'll take care of it."

With that, our meeting was concluded. I watched as Franco stood up, his movements smooth and controlled. "Report back to me once you've retrieved the setting," I added before he left the room.

"Yes, sir," he replied, his voice steady before he exited, leaving me to wonder how this situation would unfold.

"Yes, sir. I'll take care of it," Franco said, but his tone hinted at a deeper concern. He sat back down, his eyes locked on mine. "If I may be honest, sir, getting the house setting from Carlos won't be easy."

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued by his hesitation. "Why's that?" I asked, leaning forward slightly.

"Carlos has it stored in a highly secure location, sir," Franco explained. "Even if we manage to breach his security, there's another issue."

"What's that?" I pressed, my curiosity piqued.

"Even if we retrieve the setting, Carlos would have already memorized it by then," Franco said bluntly. "He's meticulous about details, sir. Once he has something like this, he'll have mastered it by heart. Getting it back might not be enough to undo the damage."
