Chapter 200: Don't want to cooperate
When they arrived at the hospital, Heidi was fuming. "I've never seen such shameless people. Nadia's family said she's Grayson's fiancée, and now she's always hanging around the hospital!"
"What? Isn't she just trying to cause trouble while Grayson has amnesia?"
"Exactly. What does Grayson have to say about it?"
"What can he say? He doesn't even remember me yet. Fortunately... I think he should trust me a little more. After all, he hasn't had a conversation with Nadia like he has with me. Hmph, I'll go show off our love every day and make Nadia jealous."
As they were talking, they heard a loud crash from inside, as if something had been broken. Victoria followed Heidi as they rushed inside.
"What are you doing?" Grayson was soaked and looked at Nadia with a puzzled expression.
Nadia seemed surprised too and quickly said, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
"Okay, okay, just leave now."
Grayson looked at Nadia and said, "I don't think you're really my fiancée."
Nadia looked at him with a hurt expression and said, "Why would you say that? I'm the Norris Family's daughter, and I've never done anything wrong at home. Of course, I'm clumsy here."
"No, I just don't feel anything when I look at you. And I know in my heart that you're not my type."
Nadia's eyes widened at his direct words. She couldn't refute him because he was a patient. She was the daughter of the Norris Family, but she wasn't his type. Who was his type then? Heidi?
How could she possibly lose to Heidi and be criticized like that? To make matters worse, when she turned around, she saw that Victoria and Heidi had already come in without her noticing. Nadia looked back angrily and left. Heidi, with a smug look on her face, walked over and helped Grayson change his clothes. "Not bad, not bad. You did well. I'll reward you with meat tonight." Grayson was speechless. "Why are you eavesdropping?" "I'm just listening openly. How is that eavesdropping?" Heidi said unapologetically. "I'm your girlfriend. It's normal for me to listen. What, are you talking to other girls and hiding it from me?" "You say you're my girlfriend, but I don't know if that's true,"
Grayson said, not believing a word of what they were saying. "Have I ever confessed to you? What did I say?" Heidi was stunned for a moment before saying, "I haven't had a chance to confess yet." "Then how can you say you're my girlfriend?" Grayson was shocked. Heidi slammed the table. "So what if I haven't confessed? I've been serving you for over a week. I didn't do it for nothing. Just consider it as you accepting my offer." Grayson couldn't believe it. How could he fall for such a domineering woman? But strangely enough, compared to his so-called "fiancée," he felt that this domineering girlfriend was better and made him feel something in his heart. When he saw Heidi, he felt a strange sense of familiarity, as if she was someone he could trust.
Victoria felt like she wasn't there to comfort Heidi, but rather to eat dog food.
"Heidi, I'll leave now if there's nothing else." She waved and left.
As she arrived at the hospital entrance, a car suddenly stopped beside her. Nadia got out and looked at Victoria. "I never expected that you would be the reason why Rebecca was sent abroad. Women like you, with low status and position, will do anything to get a man. You and Heidi are no different."
Victoria frowned and said, "Rebecca brought it upon herself. It has nothing to do with me."
"If it weren't for you, would Rebecca have been driven crazy? You're so innocent and good at pretending, you green tea bitch!"
"I..."
"Nadia."
At that moment, Mario walked over from behind.
Nadia hesitated for a moment before putting on a smile. "Brother, you're here."
Mario saw Victoria and quickly walked over. Nadia asked, "Are you here to see me, brother?"
Mario awkwardly smiled and said, "No, I'm here to see Victoria. Nadia, you can go back first. I have something to say to Victoria."
Victoria?
Nadia gave Victoria a displeased look before leaving.
How could Mario be so intimate with her? Victoria cursed herself silently, "What a slut, always flirting with men." She decided to talk to Mario when she got back, he couldn't be seduced by this slut.
As Nadia walked away, Mario looked at Victoria with a deep smile and said, "I can't believe you're my sister, Victoria, I'm really happy." Victoria's face changed, "Don't talk nonsense, I'm not your sister."
Mario wasn't angry, "I know it's hard for you to accept, but I believe it's fate. The first time I saw you, I thought you were special."
Victoria looked at him seriously, "Stop it. I hope you keep this to yourself. I can't go back to the Norris Family."
"Why?" Mario was surprised by Victoria's extreme attitude.
Victoria knew she was too emotional and lowered her head, "Nothing. I'm doing well now. I just want to be Victoria, not anyone else."
Mario took a deep breath and decided to take it slow, "But you received the highest praise in the Norris Family competition. Auntie thinks it's a good choice for you to lead the Norris Family project. I agree."
Victoria thought for a moment and said, "No, I can't participate in this project."
"Why?" Mario was even more surprised.
Victoria said, "I have my own reasons. I just hope you and the Norris Family stay away from me. Please respect my decision."
After Victoria finished speaking, she lowered her head and walked away. She walked forward with a heavy heart, wondering if the Norris Family would let her go after this. If not, what should she do if this secret was exposed sooner or later?
After considering for a while, Victoria decided to prepare for the worst. Instead of returning to the villa, she went to the bank to settle all her money and then called Heidi, asking, "Heidi, do you know any real estate companies abroad that can help me buy a house?"
Victoria wanted to be prepared in case Brandon hated her so much that he would kick her out like he did to Rebecca.
