Chapter 12: The Conditions are up to you

The next moment, he fiercely grabbed her collar.

In a dream, one shouldn't have such a clear feeling, right?

Oh no, this wasn't a dream!

And she had just said those things, thinking she was dreaming…

Her face instantly turned red,as if it was swelling up.

At this moment, she only wanted to die to apologize.

Otherwise, Brandon would probably want to kill her.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I didn't know, I wasn't talking about you just now. How could you be dirty and smelly? Even if you were lying in bed, you would be like a sleeping beauty. Your whole body is like a work of art, making people only dare to admire from afar and not defile. You are the most handsome man I have ever seen!"

She trembled in his hands, babbling in a panic.

Brandon's lips twitched, his tightly clenched jaw almost becoming a line.

Even now, he still couldn't quite believe that the person who could draw that design was the same woman who was prone to babbling nonsense.

If it weren't for that, he would have already strangled her here.

"Elijah, take her home."

He felt the dirty smell emanating from her body, and faintly frowned. He left the place and got into his car, only then noticing that she looked disheveled and exhausted, as if she hadn't slept for a day and night.

It seemed like she had suffered a lot in there.

Victoria still didn't know what had happened.

Brandon inexplicably took Victoria out of the police station and back to the villa.

Victoria stood in the living room, looking puzzled. "Didn't you say you never wanted to see me again?"

He looked at her with disgust. "Go wash up and change your clothes. You're filthy."

Victoria looked down at herself and silently cursed. When I first met you, you were much smellier than I am now!

Of course, she didn't dare say that out loud. She just tugged at her clothes and complained, "You should try spending a day in there. The food is like pig slop, and there's nowhere to wash your face or take a shower. There are rats and cockroaches everywhere."

Brandon naturally frowned.

It sounded disgusting, let alone living there.

"Hurry up and go wash."

He urged impatiently.

Victoria quickly ran inside and soaked in the bathtub, finally feeling like she was alive again.

She didn't know how she had spent this day inside.

But strangely, why did Brandon suddenly take her out?

She opened her phone, which she hadn't used for a day and night, and the first thing she did was to let Heidi know she was safe.

"I'm out now."

Heidi looked surprised and quickly said, "Is it really you? I thought we had to wait for Brandon to calm down before you could come out. I asked so many people, and they were all scared to help when they heard it was Brandon. You don't know how worried I was about you."

"Thank you...and I'm sorry for making you worry," Victoria felt a warm feeling in her heart.

"Okay, enough of the pleasantries. Diana is about to explode. How could she become Brandon's woman? You should be the Mrs. Duncan of the Duncan Family," her friend said.

But Victoria was just a fake Mrs. Duncan.

However, something was strange.

"Look at the group chat. She's exaggerating the fact that you were taken to the police station and spreading rumors that she's Brandon's girlfriend," her friend continued.

Victoria leaned against the bathtub and looked at the messages in the group chat.

Now everyone in the group

was saying that Victoria was taken to the police station because she had hit someone.

They all mocked her, saying that it was her own fault and that she must have done it out of anger because she had been kicked out of the Griffin Family.

Then someone envied Diana for having Brandon as her boyfriend.

The others were shocked and asked how Diana had met Brandon.

Diana said, "I've known him for a long time, and he suddenly came to find me recently. It scared me at first, but he let me live in his villa and bought me many things. He was afraid that I would be scared living alone in the villa, so he arranged many servants for me."

"I'm so envious."

"He's treating you too well."

Victoria was still a bit puzzled.

Did she mean that she had known Brandon for a long time?

Why hadn't she mentioned it before?

But she used to be too weak and naive. She had no idea that Diana was such a hypocritical person. It was normal for her to have hidden things from herself in the past.

After washing up and changing into a new outfit, Victoria murmured as she walked into the living room, only to find Brandon still sitting there, seemingly waiting for her.

He was tall, standing at 1.9 meters, sitting on a low velvet sofa with his long legs crossed elegantly in front of him. The crystal chandelier cast a soft yellow light on his side face, making his slender figure look extremely noble and intimidating.

It was hard to imagine that he was the same person who used to lie in bed motionless like a vegetable.

"Did you draw this?"

He spoke in a calm and collected tone, pointing to a roll of design drawings on the side.

It was her design, no doubt.

"Yes, it's mine. How did it end up with you?"

Victoria had been working on the design in the villa's room when she had some free time.

Brandon leaned forward slightly, palms facing up, and looked at her. "Did you really draw this yourself?"

"Of course," Brandon replied.

Seeing his suspicious look, Victoria became wary instead. "What do you want me to do?"

Brandon took a deep breath. "I have a project here that needs an architect. If you can draw a design that satisfies me, you can name your price."

What? Did she hear him correctly?

Brandon actually asked her to draw a design?

"What... what project?" Victoria asked.

"The Gulf Plan. Have you heard of it?"

Victoria thought for a moment and suddenly remembered.

A year ago, Cosmos Group invested in the Gulf Plan, a large project in the shallow bay area that included landmark buildings, hotels, residences, and vacation resorts.

"Now the Gulf Plan's landmark building is missing a designer."

"Me?" Victoria pointed to herself in surprise, feeling shocked.
