Chapter 121
Obviously, my fierceness didn't intimidate Jason at all.
Instead, he raised his eyebrows. "Sue, don't look at me like that. You know I don't have much self-control."
I quickly looked away.
Jason chuckled softly.
After thinking for a moment, he said with relief, "But it's a good thing we didn't continue last night. There were no condoms at home."
I nearly spit out my drink.
Jason handed me a tissue and said, "I'll go buy some after work today."
He paused, then invited me, "Want to come along?"
Jason looked at me pleadingly, his voice tinged with grievance. "Sue, I'm hungry."
"Then stay hungry," I said, finishing my breakfast.
Jason went to the kitchen to wash dishes with a resentful look, while I went back to my room to change.
As I was about to leave, I caught sight of men's underwear hanging on the balcony right next to my own.
"Wait!" I couldn't help but shout. Under Jason's puzzled gaze, I separated our clothes to opposite ends.
Jason laughed at me while changing his shoes. "Why are you so nervous now? We've already slept together. Isn't it too late to separate them now?"
I rolled my eyes and lifted my foot to leave, when suddenly my arm tightened - Jason pulled me back.
"Didn't eat enough breakfast, need to make up for it now." As Jason finished speaking, he lowered his head and kissed my lips.
My eyes widened instinctively. It was too late to resist.
"Sue, just once," Jason bit my lip, coaxing softly.
Five minutes later.
I walked out the door, leaving Jason behind.
We got off the elevator together. Jason wanted a goodbye kiss, but I dodged and quickly got in my car.
When I arrived at the company and got out of the car, I happened to run into Brian coming to work.
"Mr. Ethan, good morning." I greeted him first.
But Brian stared at my lips with a complicated expression.
I looked at him, confused, unconsciously touching my face. "Mr. Ethan, is there something on my face?"
Only then did Brian look away, his tone calm. "Ms. Wilson, were you in a rush leaving home this morning? Your lipstick isn't applied properly."
With that, Brian strode away first.
I stood there stunned, raising my hand to touch my lips, suddenly realizing!
I opened my mirror, and my vision went dark.
The lipstick I had carefully applied was long gone.
He had bitten too hard - my mouth was now red and swollen.
No wonder Brian had such a strange expression just now...
I carefully reapplied my makeup in the mirror, checking over and over several times. Only after confirming everything looked fine did I go upstairs.
Afternoon.
Elizabeth came to the company with two bodyguards.
"Everyone's been working hard. I brought bubble tea for everyone."
Elizabeth said with a smile.
Everyone cheered.
My colleagues on both sides got their drinks, but I didn't.
Elizabeth blinked, looking at me innocently.
"Sorry, Ms. Wilson, I must have miscounted. There's no drink for you."
I could clearly see the malice in her eyes directed at me.
I felt a bit helpless and shook my head. "It's okay, I appreciate the thought."
Elizabeth didn't expect me not to get angry, which made her unhappy instead.
After distributing the drinks, Elizabeth left.
Before leaving, she didn't forget to glare at me.
I chose to focus on my work.
That evening, Brian had a business reception to attend.
He specifically asked me to come along. "Ms. Wilson, get ready. Tonight's reception is very important."
I nodded and went to change into a simple, sharp cocktail dress.
After arriving at the reception with Brian, he chatted with other bosses while I stood beside him smiling, occasionally helping him out when needed.
After making the rounds, Brian's wine glass was empty.
My glass was empty too.
I'm allergic to alcohol and can't drink, so I had to secretly pour it out.
"Would you two like more wine?" A server walked up to us with a tray.
Brian nodded slightly and took a glass from the tray.
I naturally took a new one too.
But before long, Brian's complexion didn't look right.
His face was flushed, his breathing heavy.
"Mr. Ethan, are you okay?" I supported Brian, asking with concern.
Brian shook his head. "I'm fine, just feeling a bit dizzy. Must have drunk too much."
"Should we leave early today?" I asked.
"No need, just help me to a room upstairs to rest for a bit."
Brian waved his hand, forcefully pinching the bridge of his nose.
I helped Brian upstairs.
Jason knocked on my door for a full minute without hearing any sound from inside.
His brows furrowed as he raised his hand to call Sue.
The phone rang for a long time until it automatically disconnected with no answer.
Jason felt a heavy weight in his chest, with an extremely bad premonition.
He immediately made another call. "Samuel, find Sue's location. I need to know now!"
Samuel was startled by Jason's anger and quickly agreed.
Two minutes later, Samuel replied, "Mr. Cooper, Ms. Wilson is attending a reception with Mr. Ethan tonight. The address is..."
Without hesitation, Jason went downstairs, got in his car, and the engine roared as it shot forward like an arrow.
Jason had just arrived at the hotel when he heard Mia's voice from a distance.
"I just saw Brian and Sue go upstairs to a hotel room together. They drank quite a bit at the reception today!"
She gripped Elizabeth's hand tightly and said, "Aren't you angry? Brian is your fiancé, but not only does he not like you, but he's also all over Sue. Now they're so brazenly doing that kind of thing at the hotel - aren't you going to go up there and expose Sue's ugly, disgusting face?"
Elizabeth trembled with anger, speaking through gritted teeth. "That bitch! How dare she do this to Brian! She must have seduced him. I'm going to kill her!"
Mia's eyes were full of satisfaction, her tone unable to hide her excitement. "Let's go up right now!"
Jason strode forward, his gaze dark as he stared at Mia. "Where is Sue?"
"Jason? You're here too?" Mia's face lit up, and she answered without hesitation. "Room 776. I already got the key card!"
Without a word, Jason grabbed the key card and strode toward the elevator.
When Elizabeth saw Jason, she shrank back in fear.
But Mia excitedly grabbed her and followed closely behind Jason.
Today, she would ruin Sue's reputation completely!
