I was standing outside the venue greeting everyone that walked in. All these people are going to witness the best day of my life. When the last person walked in Luther came towards me “It’s time.” He said. We walked to the front where the priest was standing Luther and I turned and looked towards the door when Nicol and my song started to play “A Thousand Years” from Christina Perri. I couldn’t help myself as soon as I saw Nikki walking down the aisle in her pink dress with her hair so styled, I started to cry. Luther gave me his hanky and whispered, “It’s not even the bride yet.” I just gave him a side ways glance. Then JP walked in, I knew if he is standing in front Nicol will be coming down the aisle any
minute. The wedding march started to play and everyone got up and looked at the door. When Nicol appeared in the doorway, I thought my heart will stop she looked so beautiful in her wedding gown and with every

Nicol and I didn’t write our own vows she wasn’t a public speaker and we decided to write it and give it to each other, just being a little different. her feet and kissed her, I devoured her until Luther cleared his throat and said “You have an audience.” Neither Nicol or I thought about our guest we where to caught up in the moment. I stopped and lifted our hands which made
everyone applaud us and the priest said Mr. and Mrs. Brown.

I was so nervous I couldn’t believe I said I do at the right places imagine we had to read our own vows as well. Thank God Nicolas didn’t insist on that. Nicolas and I where busy taking photo’s while the guest was enjoying their hors devours. We were almost done with the photo’s and ready to go into the venue when I excused myself for a minute. I quickly went into my room, JP was already waiting for me to help me change into my other dress. He zipped me up puffed my hair like Jose told him to and I walked out of the room where Nicolas was waiting for me “Oh my God” he said letting me stand an arm length from him. “You like?” I turned around. “I thought the first dress was a knock out
but jeez women if you weren’t already pregnant, I would have impregnated you tonight.” We laughed “You like it that much.” “I do.” I dipped me again and kissed me. When he put me on my feet again, he said “I guess we need to join our guest.” “Can’t we run away?” I said smiling at him. “Don’t tease me sweetheart I will pick you up and run with you.” “No no we need to go into the reception I mean we still need to see if we are having a boy or a girl.” “Oh yes I totally forgot.”
When we walked into the reception area everyone got up and was applauding us again, we went to sit at our table and all the speeches started I’m going to lie if I have to tell you what was said my head was not at the wedding anymore, I have my ring I am Mrs. Brown now I wanted to know if I’m having a boy or a girl and I want to know where we are going on honeymoon because that was still a surprise to and I need to rest I was so tired. When all the speeches where over and done with, it was time for Nicolas and I to open the dance floor. We chose our other song the song from Elvis “I can’t help falling in love with you.” It was a song we liked since we were in Uni together. Nicolas and I danced then JP and Nikki joined us and Luther and Mia. It was such a special occasion something I will always remember. When the dance was over, Luther told everyone to divert their attention to the cake. That is when I saw there was an extra cake standing next to our wedding cake. “Ladies and Gentleman tonight isn’t just a celebration of the wedding of these two lovely people but tonight we will see if Nicol is carrying a boy or a girl. If we can ask the Bride and Groom to come and cut the cake. Nicolas and I walked towards the table and suddenly everyone was standing around us, Nikki has forced herself in next to me. She looked up at me and said “I hope it’s a girl.” “We’ll see angel.” When Nicolas and I took the knife and cut into it we still couldn’t see what it was but then we pull a piece of the cake out and the sponge cake inside was blue. “It’s a boy!” Nicolas yelled. Everyone was so excited I thought Nikki would be upset but even she was happy. He looked at me “Aren’t you excited?” “Off course I am. We are having a boy.” “A boy.” He said stunned. I don’t think he would ever admit it but he was hoping for a boy.
