Chapter 21 — Intimacy
As they were walking towards the garden, lots and lots of criticizing eyes followed them. It was no secret about Lady Francesca’s upcoming wedding two days after. Surely, going with a man to a secluded place, such as the garden, was not a good idea.
Being once the scandalous lady of the ton, she was already immunized of such stares.
Seeing how Lady Francesca acted normal, Lord Syford tries his best to be calm and composed as well as if nothing had happened between them.
“Lady Francesca aren’t you sick of the uncalled attention you got from the ton?” he asked wondering.
The escapee looked at his way with a reassuring smile. “Certainly not, Lord Dynirho Syford. I am a duke’s daughter, and no scandal can ever take that from me, not even my stepmother. Perks of having a royal bone rank in my corset, they say.”
She tried to sound confident despite the impeccable fear that her stepmother might actually win. She just didn’t want to bother the young man with her issues.
Dynirho didn’t know what had gotten into him, but he found himself being wildly straight forward with his fleshly desire. Their short separation, plus the threat of the alleged wedding of the woman his heart sought fueled his guts to be bold.
“Then, I might as well cause one of the upcoming scandals of yours,” he responded before shutting her cherry ripe parted lips with his. Both hot, burning in passion.
Surprised by his sudden sweet assault, her cheeks burned both in embarrassment and excitement. It was exhilarating! Her lips just naturally opened to welcome him with the same intensity.
She didn’t plan it, but she found her hands desperately wrapping around his black hair, drawing him as close to her as possible. His hands were doing the same with her, traveling up and down her waist and hips, massaging it lightly.
They were in the prince regent’s royal garden. In any minute, one could have barge in and witness the infamous lady’s scandal. But Francesca couldn’t think less, than the man ravishing her, and the hidden agenda she got under her sleeves.
“Ah!” she moaned in pleasure. She was sure it wasn’t in her plan to do a public display of intimacy just so suddenly. And definitely not on the castle of the prince regent, but things can sometimes be out of our control.
Her eyes turned pleadingly longing for more of his touch when he started caressing her nipples in between the corset she wore. Leaning closer, Francesca was asking for his support as the whirlwind of emotions and pressure was becoming too much for her knees to contain.
Realizing where this was leading them, he stopped and looked lovingly on the woman. Communicating through his eyes about permission and final decision, he fought his burning carnal needs as a man.
Knowing it was the only way to escape her inevitable marriage, whilst being aware she could not possibly get on the night without satisfying the aroused demand on her body, she nods.
Dynirho scooped her off her feet and carry her in his arms. Bridal style. Ignoring the eyes of few guests who spotted them, he hailed for a standby hackney to lead them to his inn.
They need not to talked about their feelings as the reactions of their bodies were clear as snow of how much they feel for each other. Indeed, actions speaks louder than voice.
As soon as they reached his place, they continued on their unfinished business, saying each other’s name at they both reach their climax.
The next morning words of their indecent intimate kisses and eventually checking into a private room together got out throughout London like wildfire.
Being a man of high regard, Evander had called off his claim over the Feledencian heiress, just like she planned it to be. Pride was one thing men held dearly. He couldn’t possibly let his ego be damned with an already ruined and tainted woman, one that other man had already touched.
Lady Francesca couldn’t help but to smirk on the thought of defeating such self-centered man, who think less for a woman. Ironically, it was a woman who made him withdraw the supposed wealth and prestige he could amassed from marrying her.
In this mad man era, cleverness can sometimes be women’s advantage.
