Chapter 223
"James!" I cry out, embarrassed he can actually lift my heavy butt.
"Alpha said you are not to walk much because you could fall. He ordered Theo and me to carry you as much as possible. Now tell me, tiny, do you have to use the toilet?" I blush brightly.
"Yes, please." I'm mortified as he walks in and places me on my feet. James steadied me before leaving, and I'm stunned as I used the bathroom and washed my hands. I hear a loud scream followed by my mother's voice.
"Come out, you little bitch!!!" I stiffen as she beats on the wall.
"Lena," I hear Theo whisper as he lifts me and leaves the bathroom. I'm shaking as he goes to the kitchen.
"Alpha is on his way back," James says, handing me a plate.
"I...I..." I'm stunned as both motion for me to eat. Another scream has me jumping. I look at both boys fearfully, but they eat like they don't hear my mother freaking out. She is yelling about how Megan and I abandoned her. How we both got gorgeous mates and how Savage is standing up for me and Dad. I look at the bed my dad is on, and tears fill my eyes.
My poor dad gave up so much to please my mother, and he gets a shock coming back here.
"Ignore that bitch. Theo sits beside me and moves his chair close, making sure I feel his warmth. We will not let her hurt you," I sniffle.
"Come out here and face me, Lena!!!" Mom screamed. "I know you and your spineless father are in there. "I smell you both," I whimper in fear. Yes, I fear her. She beat me as a child for looking at her, so now isn't any different.
"Just eat tiny," James says, sitting on the other side. He moves closer as well, and I wipe at my cheeks. Both Purr and I start to calm down except for the occasional shudder. I stopped crying. A loud boom shakes the room, and I'm taken to the floor easily but put under James. His body shields me as my mother steps in the room, eyes full of fury. I cough as dust flies up, and my mom stands, chest heaving.
"There you are, you little cunt. Get up and come with me," she calmly points a gun at us. Theo puts his body in her path, and I whimper, fearing for him. Tyler is his dad, and I know he will hate me if his son gets hurt because of me.
"Back off!" Both boys yell, and I jerk.
"Hand over my pet," my mom snarls. "Once I get her to her new master, I will leave Savage alone." Both boys scoff. I hear movement by the huge hole in the wall and see warriors rushing in. My mom points her gun at my dad, who is still heavily sedated.
"Come over to me or I shoot this fucker," she hisses. I'm stunned at her audacity. She would shoot her mate just to sell me to a sicko.
"I'm not leaving with you, Jan. I speak up; I got two pups coming, and I'd be damned if you take that away. It is done. You have nothing left. Give up, and Alpha may let you live," she smiles a sick, sinister smile and shoots her gun. My dad's body jerks, and he moans in pain.
"The next bullet will go in his head." She looks crazy as she watches my face.
"Give up now!!!" Tyler steps in, chest heaving. He looks our way before focusing on Jan. She smiles and points the gun at him. I whimper.
"Back up, or I will get fucking trigger happy." She really has lost her shit.
