Chapter 141
Jordan pov
After fucking Angie to exhaustion, we go out to the bedroom and order food. Gavin is curled up sleeping, and fuck if I don't feel protective over the little guy. His mother has been throwing fits in the cells, but so far, she has been ignored.
"Jordan," I don't hear Angie call for me till she touches me, and I jump.
"Sorry love, I've been thinking. What is wrong?" She hugs me, and I wrap my arms around her.
"Are you okay, Jordan? Should I call Emma or Jack?" She looks up, and I smile.
"I'm good, baby, I promise. I'm just thinking about stuff and our new little guy. He is a great kid, considering all he went through. I was just wishing we could go back and prevent it all. "No pup deserves what he endured," I say, and Angie motions me to lean down to her. Once I do, she kisses me, and I chuckle.
"I love you Jordan", she kisses me again.
"I love you, baby," I say against her mouth. As we kiss again, a scared whimper breaks our kiss and romantic bubble. Gavin is having a nightmare.
"No...no, I am a good boy!!" he wails. "Please, no, I listen!" He sobs and thrashes. Silas quickly hurries to his son and gathers him close. "Gavin, you're fine, buddy," he says softly. I swear you are fine. We are all here," he soothes as our pup keeps begging in his sleep. When he wakes, he bursts into tears, and Angie cries with him. I'm pissed she put him through this level of fear and abuse. Jack walks in and sighs before getting doc to come in and fully sedate him.
"Tyler is on his way back," Jack says after I cover up Gavin, our men are still after Warren with strict orders to kill on sight." He says, looking at us.
"Can we head home now?" I ask, wanting my family at home where we can settle Gavin in.
"I don't see why not, son; just keep a lookout because Warren could have more rogues sneaking about. We did wipe out many, but he got money, and we all know money, and lots of it buys you shit that most can't afford." He hugs me and pats my back. He gathers Angie close and smiles down at her.
"So, is there one or two in this little belly?" Jack asks softly, putting a big hand on her stomach.
"We don't know; shit has been crazy. An ultrasound hasn't been done yet, but we will get one soon." I look down at Angie. He eventually lifts her, and she squeaks at the action. He chuckles as he settles her in his arms.
"Jack," she gasps out, and he laughs.
"Not one word about being heavy, sweetheart, because we all know you are small. I just didn't want you standing any longer, and I did the same for Emma during each pregnancy." Our girl nods and sighs.
"I know you're busy, Jack," she says shyly. "You can put me down if you need to head out," but he smirks as doc walks in with an ultrasound machine and Tyler. Angie smiles seeing him, and he chuckles.
"Hi, sweet girl," he kisses her head. "Did you miss me?" She hugs him, and he takes her to hold for a few before she is put on the extra bed. I'm excited, and so is Silas as we approach our mate. Once doc gets the wand and gel out, we hold our breath.
He gels up her belly and turns on the machine, and the fast swooshing makes us smile. We see one pup in there, and I look at Silas smiling.
"There is one pup, doc says, looking at the screen, "but we know sometimes twins can hide behind the other. I suggest taking it easy, Angie; you are still on the small side. Also, please eat more because you need to put on weight. I can't tell the gender yet, but in a month, we can check again." He wipes off her stomach after hitting the button to print out a few for each of us. Dad kisses her head and helps her sit up.
