CHAPTER 55
Rollin took his new charges to the castle while Quin and Lucas came to have lunch with their mothers before heading back into the fog.
NEDS POV
Why had he turned out to be such an idiot. He did the one thing I told him not to do. He was no use to me anymore.
"Father, you wanted to see me?" Raymond asked. I looked at him.
"Just tell me why Raymond, we were getting so close."
"It was only a matter of time before Barton spilled it, Father. You were not there. How many times he almost called me Raymond. What was taking you so dam long anyway you said six months tops, and it was almost a year."
"We still have to get in there. The pack is yours. We just have to get rid of Robert and Colt."
"You better be careful. The heat coming down on Colt and the King from the North is not good."
"Who is this guy from the North?"
"His name is Alpha Wayne he is a Lycan he wants to get rid of the Alpha King and Alpha Colt he is mixed up with Alpha David some how, Colt never got that far."
"David don't know what the fuck he is doing it is his fuckers fault they found my nice little set up. Stay out of site. We can't afford anyone finding you."
ALPHA WAYNE'S POV
I hung up the phone and went and looked at the calendar. we were one week away, and we would descend on that Colt. They will open the fog to protect the pack, and I will personally slaughter the Alpha King. I had everything ready on my end. What was taking David so long? Why the hell had I not heard from him? I went through the list and called Alpha Clay. He answered on the fourth ring.
"Why does it take so long for you people to answer the phone?" I yelled.
"What do you want, Wayne?" Clay asked, annoyed.
"Where the hell is David?"
"David got pinched months ago."
"Bull, he called me two weeks ago and sent me down a truck load."
"Tellin' yah, it was not David." Clay said.
"We're supposed to roll out in a week!" I said.
"Just hold up. I will talk to the others and see what is going on, I got a car missing that was following some pack that was on the move they never reported back."
"Bet you ten to one Colt has them." I said.
"They know not to talk if they get caught."
"You better hope so." I told him and slammed down the phone.
I want our 4 best scouts in my office now I yelled in an open link. I could hear people cringing. My phone rang. I looked at the number. What is Sebastian the Lycan King calling me for.
"Hello, my King." I said, answering the phone.
"Alpha Wayne, this is an official notification that you stop all actions towards the Alpha King and Alpha Colt." He said.
"No idea what you're talking about, Your Highness." I said.
"Don't give me that crap you bring an army down here. I will personally wipe your pack out."
"You can't be serious?" I asked
"Want to try me, Wayne. I know all about your plans. Shut it down." He said.
"No, I want the Alpha King Dead. Lycans are superior to any werewolf."
"You have been warned my arm stands with the Alpha Kings."
"Then you shall go down with him." I said.
"We will see you on the battle, field Wayne. You will eat your words as I rip your heart out of your chest." He hung up.
It was time to teach Sebastian to stay out of our affairs. I didn't need him.
SASHA'S POV
I was trying to hurry. Sable would be here any minute, and I had to change my clothes. I love my pups but today was not the morning to throw oatmeal around. I changed quickly and got downstairs just as Luna Sable was coming into the castle. I went to greet her.
"Luna Sable, it is an honor to have you here." I said as bent my neck to her.
"Sasha, what are you doing? I should bow to you." She said, reaching and taking oatmeal out of my hair.
"Fun morning?" She laughed.
"You have no idea." I laughed and showed her to the office Quin made for me on the main floor.
"Miss. Maggie will bring tea and biscuits shortly. Please sit wherever you like." Sable sat on the couch, and I went to sit with her.
"I have so much to show you, but if you don't like it, we can change it to whatever you would like as it is you pack you make the final decisions. I just had a vision, but it is your home. Sorry, I'm rambling. I'm a bit nervous." I told her.
"Sasha, dear, why are you so nervous?"
"Well, you are the Luna, of course. I do not want to displease you." Luna Sable started to laugh.
"Sasha, you are the Queen it is I who is honored to work with you. Now I am Just Sable, and you are Sasha, and together, we will build a great pack. Now show me these wonderful plans you have done up."
"They are just rough. We will have to have proper blueprints made if you like the ideas." I told her. I rolled out the first one that was of the fill land and the placements of the buildings. Sable looked them over and then asked for a pencil and paper. You did a wonderful job Sasha there are just a couple of things that need to be rearranged, and I will explain why." We spent until almost dinner going over everything. I learned a lot about how things worked in a pack. I was so happy to have Sable teach me. When she left I was tired but very happy. The papers would go to be made into blueprints, and we would be able to start building. Quin and I had a quiet dinner in our room and talked about how our day went.
"So, they are both settling in then?" I asked Quin.
"Yah, I don't know about this guy dad had come here to be a royal guard he was part of Bartons pack at first I could feel deception and anger from him but the second time it was gone. So I'm a bit worried." Quin told me.
"I will have a talk with his wife about jobs and see if i can feeling anything from her."
"Just be careful. I don't like you wandering around the pack alone."
"Don't worry so much. I can take care of myself."
"Sasha, never mind. Just be careful ok have a guard walk with you, please."
"We will see." I said. Quin was not happy with that answer but how comfortable people would be coming to talk to me if I had guards with me. We were safe in the fog.
