CHAPTER 41
"I will get your coffee beautiful, " Quin said after putting throw on my legs.
"Tell me, Sasha, how are you really feeling?" Sebastian asked.
"Truthfully, I’m irritated and on edge knowing there are rogues in the dungeon a few floors down. There are people I don't know here. I have four newborn babies who are heirs. I have not been taught how to control this thing that happens every time become emotional or feel threatened or angry."
"Has your grandmother not helped you?"
"If you mean by her telling me to take pills."
"Let me get permission from your mate. If he agrees, I can teach you some ways that will hopefully help. Does that sound ok with you?"
"Sebastian, I really don't want to take up your time. You're already helping Quin so much."
"Sasha, an hour a day to teach you is nothing. What time are the babies first feeding in the morning?"
"Seven am, but Marie and Taylor do that one Qiun, and I do the ten am."
"That works perfect then."
"What does?" Quin asked as he came over to sit with us.
"I was telling Sasha I could teach her a few ways to help control her emotions and if she feels threatened or angry. With your permission, of course, as Sasha is your mate." Sebastian told Quin.
"That would be her choice, I do not make any decisions for her, I'm not that type of man. I appreciate you concerning my feelings. But Sasha is free to do what she feels will help her." I smiled. Quin was so wonderful we knew some people who were very controlling of their mates. It did not sit well with us at all.
"Sasha, ...Sasha, what are you thinking about?" Quin asked.
"Nothing important, my love. I would like to see if Sebastian's technics would help. It is better than grandmother telling me to take pills."
"Sasha, what are you talking about?"
"These." I told Quin. After looking to see no one was paying attention, pull the bottle of pill grandmother had given me out of my sweater pocket.
"May I see those?" Sebastian asked. I handed him the bottle of pills. He got very angry. I could see his eyes had changed color. His Lycan was coming forward.
"Did you take any Sasha?"
"No, I wanted to talk to Quin first." I told him.
"Good, these are anti psychotic drugs they could have made you a lot worse."
"I can't believe she would have done it on purpose." Quin said.
"I agree with you." Sebastian told Quin.
"Where would she have even gotten this medication? Is the next question." I said.
"We need to have a word with Barton about this." Quin said.
"I think I need to go lay down if you will excuse me?" I asked.
"By all means, Sasha, meet me at seven am. In the garden, if you're up to it in the morning." Sebastian said as i got up to go. I nodded my head.
"I will walk you up." Quin said. Coming with me. I had a shower and changed into my night dress. I sat to brush my hair when Quin came over and took the brush and started brushing out my pure white hair.
"Are you trying to get on my good side?" I smiled at him.
"You mean I not?" He teased back." I laughed.
"You deserve to be pampered Sasha you just gave me four beautiful pups." He said.
"You're welcome, my King." I said, smiling at him through the mirror.. when he was done, I got into bed. Quin passed me my phone. Kissed me on the forehead, saying
"Buy something for yourself too beautiful."
I logged in to my Amazon account and looked at the baby things we still needed until I fell asleep.
QUIN'S POV
I went back downstairs. The other ladies had
gone to bed or had things to do. Lucas and Morgan had gone for a couple of days for a little honeymoon. I went and got the whiskey out of the cabinet and grabbed some glasses.
I poured a glass for everyone, including Rollin, who stayed very much to himself.
It was Barton who called him on it.
"Rollin, why so quiet? Is there something bothering you?"
"I'm just humbled to be in the presents of both my kings. Knowing my life and the life of my pack is in their hands."
"We will talk about that when Alpha Colt gets here tomorrow, Rollin. But I do have a question for you, Barton." He looked at me, kinda surprised. When I did not say anything else, he looked a bit nervous.
"Quin, let me. if you don't mind?" Sebastian asked.
"By all means, Sebastian, I was trying to figure out how to word it." I told him.
"Barton, we have a question about Zoya."
Barton looked confused.
"We mean no disrespect to Zoya, but we need the truth from you."
"Well, of course, your Majesty, what do you want to know?" I held my breath. Would he lie or tell us the truth.
"Is Zoya on any type of medication on a daily basis?"
"I really don't think that is anyone business but hers." Barton said. I lost it.
"It becomes our concern when she gives Sasha anti psychotic medication." I yelled.
"She did what? Show me the proof that she did this?" Sebastian pulled the bottle of pills Sasha gave him out of his pocket and threw them th Barton. Barton caught them and read the label on it.
"How long has she been taking them, Barton?" He down his whiskey before he answered.
"For as long as I can remember, the do tor at the hospital gave them to her."
"Do you have any idea why? Because these could have seriously hurt Sasha if she took them, thank the goddess she told us about it first. I said. I was mad, but I also wanted to know why my grandmother was on these drugs. Barton sighed.
"The doctor put her on then to kill most of her powers,"
"Why?"
"As she healed and got better, she became depressed. She did not want to be a healer when she could not even save her mate and child. I was against her taking the medication, but she was doing it behind my back for two years before I found out the doctors I talked to said it would be to dangerous to take her off them because she was taking medication for something she did not have taking her off could make her insane. I never would have thought she would give them to Sasha."
"I'm having my team of specialists come here if that is ok, Quin?" Sebastian. Asked.
"Yes, I think it is a good idea, I will have Father send over a couple of nurses from the hospital. I don't want her left alone with Sasha or the pups." I said.
"Seriously, do you really think she would hurt any of them?" Barton asked. I was shocked he even asked that.
"The answer to that is in your hands, Barton." I got up and left.
