CHAPTER 126
"I thought it... never mind I will keep you updated. I will go see if I can find Morgan." He said quickly and hung up. Stella was just coming back with a cart that had coffee and lunch on it.
"How is everything?" She asked seeing I was off the phone.
"Sasha just went into labor with the twins. Alpha Jaxson has gone to find Morgan." I said putting my phone down.
"Sasha is the Orical right?" She asked.
"Yah." I said. My mind racing why was Morgan not with Sasha to begin with.
"I hope she is not down watching them heal Quin, they can't be interrupted during the healing ritual. I know she has to have her or she will accidentally tear the hospital apart."
Stella said. I just nodded.
"Come on lets have lunch there is nothing we can do from here, and worrying is not going to help anyone " she said coaxing me to get food and coffee. She was right. I was just going to make myself sick. I just sat down with my plate and put my coffee on the side table when my phone rang again. Another unknown number.
"Hello?" I said answering.
"Hey sis. Jaxson told me I should call you right away." Quin said.
"Oh my Goddess, Quin are you ok?" I asked excitedly.
"Yah, I just have a bit of a headache. But the healer fixed us right as rain. How are my nephews? Where is Tyson?" Quin asked.
"The pups are great growing like weeds Tyson is off with Zeth doing something or another. I'm having coffee and lunch with Stella. Wait if you talked to Jaxson why are you not at the hospital with Sasha?" I asked him.
"Sasha is at the hospital?" He questioned.
"Jaxson never told you, where is Morgan?" I asked.
"She ran out of here a few minutes ago, oh crap Sasha is having the twin! Got to go sis love you."
"Love you too." He was gone. I laughed.
"Feel better?" Stella asked with a smile.
"Yah, Tyson will be so happy to hear that Quin is okay. I can't thank you family enough for saving him." I told her. We had our lunch and shopped online for Christmas the rest of the afternoon.
TYSON'S POV
I figured while Zeth and I were shopping I would give Jaxson a call to see if he had any updates on Quin. Before I could get my phone out Zeth pulled me into a jewelry store. Saying he wanted to buy Stella something nice for their tenth wedding anniversary.
"You should get Nancy something nice to remind her of your stay in Paris." He suggested. But what I thought. Nancy only wore her earring and her wedding ring. She was not like a lot of other girls who had to have so much Jewelry on it some times looked ridiculous. I looked around the store. There were a lot of beautiful thing there, but would Nancy wear them. Then I saw it it was not overly large but a nice size. The salesperson saw me looking at it and came over right away.
"Good afternoon Alpha. I see you are admiring this exquisite double heat pendant."
"Yes, it is quite beautiful." I said in a normal tone. I don't like push salespeople.
"If your interested I could tell you about no obligations, but it has a wonderful story with it." I told him I would think about it and continued to look. But my eyes kept going back to the pendent. I went back over and took another look at it. The salesperson saw me back at the pendent but didn't approach me again. I was curious about the story behind it though and I knew Nancy would love it. I went over to the same salesperson.
"If you have time I would like to hear the story behind the pendent." I told her.
"It is a beautiful story, the pendent comes with a printed cop of the story that has been royalty sealed." She said. This peeked my interest some.
"The pendent was commissioned by the royal family for a gift for a visiting princess.
The story is that her parents contracted her to marry the prince but as these contract go a lot of the times. The princess was in love with someone in her own country and the prince was also in love with a woman of the court. The parents were forcing them to be married to strength the bonds of the two countries. The prince and the princess ran off together. The parents thinking had eloped. When they came back, they each had married the person they wanted to be with. The necklace was never picked up for the princess. It has traveled from each of our stores for the last 6 years. Everyone enjoys the story. But they decide they don't want it. We will be sending it on to ne of our other stores after Christmas. Well, that is the story if you see something you wish to inquire about let me know." She said and walked away. It took me less than thirty seconds.
"I will take it." I told her. She turned around shocked.
"Are you sure, Alpha?" She asked.
"One condition." I told her.
"That would be?" She questioned. I motioned for her to come closer. When she was beside me I bent down to her level and asked in a whisper how she knew I was an Alpha being we were in a human mall. She laughed.
"Because Alpha, I am a werecat, and I can smell werewolf all over you, add to that you height and build, there is no mistaking you for anything but. Though you are not from this country." She explained.
"Please wrap it up beautifully for my Luna." I told her. She unlocked the cabinet and took the pendent over to the counter so I could see her wrap the red velvet box. Zeth had just finished paying for his purchases and came to stand beside me.
"You bought the princess necklace for Nancy?" He asked. I nodded.
"She will love it; it is an exquisite one-of-a-kind piece." He said.
The salesperson rung up the purchase and I handed her my black card.
"Just one minute Alpha." She said handing me back my card with the gift bag. She disappeared into the back and came out with an elderly gentleman who had some papers in his hand.
"Sir, I was just informed you bought the princess necklace. I have here all the authentication of the gems in the necklace and the legitimate story behind it signed by the king himself. He said. Then he showed me each paper and after I looked at them her placed them in a large envelope.
"I'm sure your wife will enjoy it for many year." He said passing me the envelope and going back into the back room. The salesperson was about to walk away when I stopped her and handed her two one-hundred-dollar bills.
"Alpha, I can not take this." She said trying to hand it back.
