Chapter 91: The truth 2

Lena POV

"A week ago, when she found us fucking..."

"Can you just quit adding fuck?" Ace snapped annoyed by the statement and adain chuckled bitterly.

"Great, so we had a fight. You know ladies"

I was pinching my thighs, ace was staring into my soul. To find any error but to be sincere, I kept a calm face.

I need to play a hero here an anti-hero in disguise. Blame the one girl I want out of this place because I'm done playing the weak girl.

"So she confessed that she caused the death of the player..."

As he narrates, it dawn on me that she had come to the club to surprise Aaron.

But then stumbled on the player who had accidentally hit his head and was struggling to get on his feet.

Using the nearest object there, she smashed his head, did signs just as the killer, deleted the CCTV footage too.

Although while doing that, she had

Well, actually they weren't officials at that time in the club.

"Xandra?" Adae called startled as he was boiling in rage.

"Exactly. And I snapped her with wolfsbane oil just to erase her memory..."

"What? How the fuck did you do that? Do you carry it along with you?" Adain asked as he'd taken his seat beside me.

Aaron looked at me and back at the three brothers.

"I always carry it along with me"

"Why?"

"I don't know in case I do something horrible and someone caught me. Rather than killing them, I snap out their memory, which means she wouldn't remember anything relating to that."

I twisted my lips, wanting to hear what I wanted to.

"Xandra is the problem here" adae snapped almost punching through ace wall but controlled himself.

He wouldn't want get ace blasting him off.

"That girl got you under her fingers? What the fuck does she have on you?" Adain asked and I was curious to hear ace voice.

Those eyes of his just have me captive like he was trying to believe it.

"Our problem here is her okay so don't ask me what she has on me, understood!" Aaron protested as I felt his hand on my left shoulder squeezing it.

I turned to look at him, a bit tired and just eager to hear their judgement.

So now they believe the information xandra told them about me in a bar was a lie and would attack her not me.

I just needed to go e the assurance that I'd let the case die. I'm just the heir yet not coronated yet.

"And then Aaron almost sold us out confirming to it!" Adain grumbles throwing his hands side way, so provoked.

"I see them, I have nightmares of them, what do you expect. It's so unlawful in the first place!"

"It's a tradition and we can't stop!" Ace snarled slamming his palm on the table.

I remained still not frightened as they were about to expose themselves through this argument and I'm ready for the tea.

Have them confess when it's chaotic. Have them look up to me as the only one who can clear them from this mess.

"What traditions?"

I asked pretending to act all innocent.

They were quiet as adain wipe face, turned his head away. Adae bite his lower lips, avoiding my gaze but Ace, he wouldn't even be bothered.

"She already knows and right now, only her can help us out as the alpha" Aaron defended, his cold palm only made me feel more warm.

He was frightened, I could feel the vibration from his body behind me.

I took a glimpse at him and his eyes, they'd grow smaller, his breath hard as he was staring at them.

"You realize it's only omegas we capture right?" Ace began, breaking that icy shell around him.

I nodded pushing myself forward to lean closer to him. He stopped playing with the puzzle box.

"We need their blood as lycans, for power, to be stronger" adae completed sucking his breath as he crossed his hands behind his head.

Good.

My jaw dropped as I dart my eyes at the three of them.

"And if you stop? What happens?"

"We really don't know but dad tells us we die, because it's a curse on our generations. We were never meant to rule since that curse but father's greed drove him to look for solutions. Omega blood" adain stops as he looked sober now.

I turned pale not knowing if I should have pity on them or not.

"He disguised it as a game to remove weaker ranks and becoming an alpha, you need to show strength and power...a kind of authority" ace added resting his head on the chair as he closed his eyes as though reminiscing.

"You know rich folks. Life that doesn't relate to them doesn't matter to them. They loved the idea and supported him" Aaron continues as he takes his seat beside me, almost dragging his palm away but I placed my on it.

I needed him to keep it there, to keep me calm.

"Did any of you wanted this?" I asked in a low tone as I'd lost my soul with this confession.

Their silence proves they never wanted it.

"So why not stop it"

"Yeah, we wish to and that's if we find our mate"

I swallowed as my chest sank deep. They haven't found their mate? That's why the killing is going on.

"Where you guys cursed with no mate too?" I pressed on clenching my thighs.

Adae's face drew closer to me, his lips appearing more plump than the other.

"We have her" he whispered to me and I blinked my eyes confused. Oh the twins found their mate and I wasn't even interested to know who.

"So. It's like the twins have a mate but the rest of you..." I cleared my throat. "Where are yours?"

Ace ran his tongue over his teeth, a habit I knew he was fond of when nervous and thrilled.

"We all share one"

My stomach chunk, as my breath left me. I grew more curious than anything.

"Who?"

My toes curled as their eyes were suddenly piercing my skin, my heart was flustered as I turned red.

"You" Aaron snapped, his

palm suddenly running down my spine.

"What?"

"Which leads me to the assumption that dad knows it's you" Ace stated standing up.
