I'm Shaina.

Shay-na not the Shania Twain bullshit.

I'm a dove, I'm rich, I lather myself in silk and diamonds like it's nobody's business.

I am a star, I am what creates the fictional people others want to be.

I'm the modern day Marilyn Monroe, however I find that comparison unfair as Marilyn is a darling woman, stunning and my idol to say the least.

She merely paved the way for my Hollywood existence.

I'm not cocky, I know what I have. I'm aware.

Whoever said 'Money can't buy happiness' is full of it. I'm very happy.

However satisfied I am not. Money makes any person happy, but it doesn't soothe lack of satisfaction.

Satisfaction in ways of loneliness. Sex. Affection. Kindness without flirting.

I can't seem to even have a friend. People want my body, money, or they envy me.

It sounds nice, sure. I thought so too.

Don't get me wrong, being alone is amazing. Truly. I know myself best, I know my standards and they're high.

But it gets exhausting. The only interactions I have involve talking about my looks or reciting a script.

Having my tailor zip my dress right now before the red carpet is setting me up.

I'm an actress, I'm good at being perfect. I get money from that.

"You look lovely!" She smiled.

"Thank you." I looked in the mirror, fixing my necklace and holding my hand out as my red lipstick was placed into my lotioned, freshly manicured palm.

I applied the dark color, not trusting anyone else with this part.

It was my signature. Not just red lipstick but the way I defined my Cupid's bow. It was mine. I didn't do cliche nude with top lip over lining.

I backed up looking at myself.

I felt like a Barbie and I already wanted to kill myself.

I liked the dress though. It was light.

I pulled on my red bottom black stilettos.

"You ready Miss-"

"Get the car ready." I clipped my bracelet on.

"Yes ma'am." She walked away.

I sighed, drowning in the mentality of being fashionably late is a cause to avert conversation off my face and love life.

And more cameras but that's unavoidable.

I adjusted my blonde baby hairs away from my face as I began my walk down the stairs and to the black SUV waiting for me.

I got in, sitting against the window as I adjusted the tail of my dress to not be by my heels so when I got out I didn't fall on my face.

Cameras began flashing, the red carpet and gold railings with red velvet ropes hanging off visible.

He stopped, getting out and assisting me as I got out, using my small bag to cover my groin incase of a slip up.

I relaxed my jaw, knowing my photos look best that way.

Don't want Wikipedia to get bad photos.

I smiled, walking down the carpet and into the large white tent that was over us.

Photos snapped, people talking and pausing to look at the late person.

Might as well mark me tardy at this point, shit.

People came over to me in waves and I kept walking through until I was in line to get my picture taken in front of the white board.

I walked after the man in front of me and placed my hand on my hip as I smiled, something relaxing and charming this year.

I walked over to the tables they had set around and grabbed the stupid bubbly champagne.

Be half decent and carry white wine.

I took a sip, wanting a buzz.

These nights felt either so fast or so slow.

"Shaina!" Dalton walked toward me and I smiled.

"Hello dear." I chuckled as he kissed my hand.

"How was the premier to Belladonna? I didn't see you." He frowned.

"I didn't go, took a sick day to get my nails done." I winked and he laughed.

"Alright, would you mind if I dragged you over there? There are these smoking hot men wanting to meet you. I was staring I didn't catch too much of what they said." He joked and I cleared my throat.

"Sure." I chugged the rest of the champagne before following him.

He stopped by two very noticeable and tall men.

"Mr. and Mr. Axe, this is Miss Felton." He smiled and the identical boys looked down at me.

"Shaina is fine." I nodded my head, stepping back slightly so my neck wasn't cracked up.

"Shaina, I'm Ryder." The more... bad boy? looking one said, offering his hand.

"Nice to meet you." I gave him my hand as he kissed my knuckles.

God I wish I wore my gloves.

"I'm Range." The other one offered his hand and the same greeting occurred.

"Nice to meet you as well." I returned my hand to my side.

"We are producers, our last film was The Fault Project." Ryder told me and I gasped.

"Amazing work. That movie was outstanding." I immediately complimented.

"We appreciate that. We've seemingly met everyone here but you. This meeting was anticipated on our half for many years. We've watched and studied nearly every film you've ever been in. Your acting is unbelievable. I've never seen something so sincere." Range nodded.

"Thank you very much. I'm flattered." I chuckled.

"We apologize if that comes off strong-"

"No worries, at all, truly. It's a good habit to be aware of those good in their field. I'm fortunate enough to recognize I'm one of them. Anyways, I'm glad we talked, I have to go meet Sarah with the mic, I think it's my turn to tell her my dress is from Target and give her a heart attack." I smiled.

"Please do, she almost broke my glasses." Range adjusted them and I laughed.

"Have a good night. Bye Dalton." I waved and he didn't respond as his eyes were locked on the Axe twins.

Sarah here I come.
