"You seriously still want to go?" Richard pouted
"It's just for five days but because of you, I'll make it three " I said, dragging my medium box
"Make it one day" He took the box from me and gave it over we to the guard who takes it to the car.
"Auntie Shirley will not let me leave immediately but I can convince her to let me go after three days." I adjusted my dress
"Okay, another kiss?" Richard leaned in
"No. That was what led us to having a quickie few minutes ago. I might miss my flight" I laughed
"Your aunt is like my least favourite person right now." Richard opened the car door for me to get in.
"Seeing me too much isn't good for your health and whatever this thing is between us. The more I'm away, the more you crave me and see my importance" I smirked at him
"The more I crave you, the more i get blue balls because you're far away. I hope you know how to be nasty over video call though because I'm gonna be needing connection with that body of yours" Richard refused the x at and drove out of the compound
"Ew!" I laughed. "My aunt has 2 kids and they're all about my age. No, the girl is a year younger, that is, I'm older than her with a year while the boy is way. Let's say, 4 years older than me and FYI, I'm like their favorite cousin so I can't guarantee you any sex chat via call" I rolled my eyes
"I swear, I might fly down to Canada if you're stolen from me for more than 3 days. I mean it, baby" Richard frowned
"Maybe that's a good idea. You'll get to see where I'd love to raise my -"
"Our kids, Cupcake. I am serious about you, you know?" He said softly but I don't reply.
"Make sure you tell every guy there that you have a man" Richard said again
"Do I?" I smirked
"Don't play with me" Richard frowned
"Okay, okay. Fine Daddy"
"Fuck. How about car sex?" He pouted
"Jeez! Don't stop this car" I laughed, shaking my head at his silliness
"We're here. Are you sure you don't want to turn back?" Richard asked again
"Nope. If it was a surprise visit, I would've turned back but I told Auntie Shirley already. She'd kill me if I bail out" I said, bringing my box down
"Let me have that" He took the box from me. "I think that's your flight" He said pointing at the plane
"I guess this is goodbye" I smiled
"It's no fucking goodbye. That sounds like a break up. Hell no. You better come back to New York" He frowned, pulling me in for a hug
"You're dramatic" I returned the hug
"Please call me whenever you get thee chance to. Don't do what I wouldn't do" He pecked my hair and then my lips
"What wouldn't you do?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Get out of here!" He smacked my ass
"We're at the airport!" I laughed, taking my box from him and running down to the plane. "Bye!" I blew him a kiss
"Call me every time!" He yelled, catching the kiss.
I waved once more.
I'm really going to miss that soul. I'm growing to really like him and his presence. He's not perfect but he's really trying and he's really making his intentions known to me. Maybe we should really try this out
Does seeing the parents not count as dating? Uhh maybe!
I picked up my tab and started working on some design for Jason's wedding. I'm making few changes on the designs.

Asshole: I just passed your house and let it not be what I'm thinking! You better be fucking coming back to New York or else I'd fly down there and tear Canada down!
I used few minutes to laugh at the text. I forgot to tell him that I'm renovating my house too while I'll be away

Asshole: I guess we'd find out after 3 days, mi amore
Me: okay fine. Bryan is in charge of the supervision of the house renovation. I thought I told you but I guess I forgot
Asshole: Yeah I saw him and had few words with him.

Me: So you just wanted to stress me out? I mean, he told you already!
Asshole: I don't trust his words. He could be covering you up. Don't forget to send me pictures.

I put off my phone, smiling at myself. I've been smiling a lot lately. It's becoming creepy for me but I deserve happiness anyway
"Hey, do you have power bank?" The guy close me asked
"Nope" I shook my head
"Why?" He frowned
"Because I don't have" I hurriedly put my ear pod into my ears not wanting to hear any more nonsense from him
Few hours later, we arrived at the airport and I booked a ride to a grocery shop to get a things for my aunt and her family. Once I was done, the same ride took me to my aunt's place. I tipped him off for waiting patiently for me and honestly, for not running with my box in his car bout.
Not like I have any money in it but I need the clothes to cover my nakedness right?
"Is that my girl?" Aunty Shirley said, smiling at me from the door
"In flesh!" I laughed, carrying my box and some shopping bag. "Thank you, Crane. Please expect my call soon" I said to the patient driver. He'll definitely be the one to carry me back to the airport or maybe any important place
"Oh my goddaughter!" She hugged me, helping me with the bags. "I was starting to think you weren't coming" She frowned
"At least, I didn't get in here at night even though the sky is close to getting dark." I closed the door behind me. "Where's everyone?"
"Oh they'll be back soon. I'm so happy to see you. You look beautiful" She coos
"And you look younger than your age, Auntie. What's the secret?" I laughed
"Off shore sex" She blurted out
"What?" I asked, with amusement laced in my voice
"Your uncle came back for Thanksgiving and he went back to work. Off shore? Does that click somewhere?" She rolled her eyes
"You have to be the dramatic one." I laughed getting the joke

"I mean, since my sisters and brothers and the workaholics, I get to be the dramatic one" Auntie Shirley said, passing a plate a food my way
"Thank you, Auntie" I smiled, taking a bite of the food
"How's your siblings and parents" She sipped her tea
"Jason is preparing for his marriage. I brought an invitation card. Sorry, I'm his agent." I chuckled. "Autumn is having baby crisis. Though she's spending the holiday with her in-laws." I sipped water. "Your sister as usual is very busy with work. She called to wish New Year though. Her husband too"
"I'm so sorry" She held my hand.
"I'm 23 Auntie! I'm used to it" I rolled my eyes playfully
"You're turning 24 in few months. I hope you're keeping a man by the corner." She eyed me playfully
"Oh! I never knew I was supposed to be stacking men" I gasped
"You silly girl" she slapped my shoulder
"I'll give you the gist about a certain man tomorrow" I smiled at her
"Ouuu so you were instead stacking a man" she laughed
"It just happened." I shrugged. "I bet I didn't have to do much. I'm a natural"
"Oh how I've missed you. I'm sure your cousins would steal you away the minute they set their eyes on you" she laughed
"I missed those fellas" I laughed. "Same room?" I said, picking my box
"Yes love and thanks for the groceries" She smiled
"Thank you for having me!" I yelled, opening the visitors room door.
A familiar scent fills my nostrils immediately I entered into the room. It's the same scent Richards house have. I think aunt used the same air freshener he uses in his house.
