Chapter 11 CHAPTER 10

Chapter 11 CHAPTER 10

“GOOD MORNING!” I greeted the helpers with a smile when I saw them cleaning the yard.

I saw the surprise on their faces because it was the first time I was the one who greeted them first. I was usually rude to them, especially when I gave orders.

They all bowed slightly. “Good morning, Ma’am Lilith!”

“That hairstyle suits you today,” I said.

She bowed her head shyly. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.”

I went straight to the kitchen to have breakfast.

“Good morning, Dad!” I even kissed him on the cheek before sitting down.

I saw the surprise on Daddy’s face.

“It’s a miracle our helper didn’t have to wake you up.”

I smiled. “I need to be hardworking so my allowance will come back.”

“Good.”

I hurried my meal because I couldn’t wait to see Aeros.

“I have to go.” I kissed Daddy first before leaving.

“Take care.”

I almost ran all the way to the garage.

“Good morning, Ma’am Lilith!” Aeros said.

I smiled. “Let’s go.”

“Yes, Ma’am.”

I got into the car and we left the mansion. When we were already some distance away, I told him to stop the car.

“Why?” he asked.

I held his thigh and gently squeezed it. I saw Aeros swallow.

“Kiss me, baby.”

“But, Ma’am Li—”

“What did you say?”

“B-Baby.”

“Go ahead and tell me if you don’t like me,” I asked irritably.

“I like you.”

“If you like me, why can’t I feel it? You didn’t even kiss me.”

He released a quiet sigh. I gasped when he suddenly pulled me close and captured my lips in a lingering kiss. Instead of pulling away, I answered him with one just as full of longing. Warmth spread through me when I felt his hand slip gently beneath my uniform. I didn’t hesitate, I let my own hand wander over his clothes, resting against his broad chest as if memorizing every beat of his heart.

“Ohhh!”

In an instant, he unclasped my bra and his hands traced the curves of my breasts. I bit my lip, eyes squeezed shut, trying to steady the heat that surged between us. For a fleeting moment, nothing else existed, just the pull of his body against mine.

Then, suddenly, Aeros stopped and turned away.

“Why?” I whispered, heart pounding, disbelief and something else I couldn’t name twisting inside me.

I never thought he’d actually stop.

“You might be late for class,” he said, voice calm, almost teasing.

My cheeks burned crimson. “O-okay,” I murmured, words barely audible.

We had only made things official yesterday, yet so many times we had come dangerously close to losing control, teetering on the edge of what we shouldn’t yet touch.

We walked the rest of the way in silence, the tension between us unspoken but thick enough to suffocate.

“We’re here,” Aeros said softly.

I moved to open the door, but his hand pressed gently against mine, stopping me. My pulse jumped, caught in that quiet, electric moment.

I looked at him. “Why?”

He held my gaze for a moment, and I felt my heart skip. Then he smiled, that easy, infuriating smile. “Good luck, Baby.” Before I could even think, he leaned down and pressed a quick kiss to my lips.

My cheeks burned, and I instinctively looked away. Why is my face so hot? “T-Thank you,” I stammered, my voice barely audible.

I opened the door and stepped out, trying to calm the fluttering in my chest.

“Hey, Lilith!” Elsie’s voice called from behind me.

I turned, forcing a casual tone. “Huh?”

She raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. “What’s gotten into you?”

“Why? What’s wrong with me?” I asked, trying to sound normal.

“You’ve been spacing out for ages,” she said, her eyes sharp, reading me like a book.

I couldn’t help the smile that tugged at my lips as memories of Aeros lingered in my mind. I can’t believe it… he’s really mine now.

“Aeros is my boyfriend now,” I said, trying to sound nonchalant, but my heart was racing.

“Oh. And?” Elsie’s voice was skeptical, though I could see the spark of curiosity in her eyes.

“I won the bet,” I admitted, a small thrill rising in me.

“Well, we need proof that he’s actually your boyfriend,” she said, tilting her head, trying to seem serious but the teasing curl of her lips gave her away.

I grabbed my phone, heart pounding, and played her the conversation I had with Aeros last night.

“That’s still not enough evidence,” she said, shaking her head.

“You heard what he said!” I protested, trying not to sound defensive, though a little frustration crept in.

“You could have Aeros say it himself,” she suggested, eyes gleaming with mischief.

“Tsk! What more proof do you even want?” I muttered, half annoyed, half amused.

“I want to see with my own eyes that he’s your boyfriend,” she said firmly, crossing her arms again.

I laughed softly, feeling a rush of excitement. “Fine. After school, I’ll kiss him so you can see for yourself.”

She shrugged casually, trying to seem indifferent, but the slight quirk of her smile betrayed her. “Okay.”

This is going to be interesting… I thought, feeling both nervous and exhilarated at the same time.

I tried to focus on the lecture, but my thoughts kept drifting. What if the professor suddenly called on me? My heart clenched at the memory of the last time I froze in front of the class. I couldn’t let that happen again
