Chapter Ninety
Olivia

It's been a month since we've been here and Desiree and Dimitri are much better now. Desire is all healed up and can now stand and walk in her own without any help. She's been going to check up every now and then and we'll still be going to check up until the doctor says that it's not necessary for her to come.

Tomorrow morning Jason and our little family will be heading back home. I am super happy because I've missed my own home and I've missed my own bed so much. I've also missed my husband dearly and yes I know that his next to me but I miss him on a more intimate level. I miss his touch and his kisses and his body. It's a good thing he feels the same.

"I'm going to miss you." Des tells me.
"You've said that only a thousand times." I laugh.
"It doesn't make it any less true no matter how many times I say it."
"I guess it doesn't, but I need alone time with my man or else we'd stay longer." I say and we both laugh.

Jason and I have been counting the days before we have to leave. Honestly one would think that we're amateurs with how much we speak about it. The plan was to go back home just for a day or two and then after that would be going to Mountain's View. He said that we were going to have a sex fest and I believed him. I think our coming here and my being sick really tested his patience.

"I wish I could get back what Dee and I had before all of this. I'm trying, I really am but he's just so careful around me now."
"Babe he has to be. But you also have to speak with him. Tell him what you want or take it if you can."
"It's all I do honestly. I talk and talk. I'm tired of it."
"I think that when you're all healed up you should come up to my place. A talk with my mother and Mrs Belle will do you good." She laughs at my words.

I'd told her about the night they got drunk and spoke to me about marriage and men. It would do her good especially because she doesn't have anybody to talk to about these things that is an adult. It's also a way of me getting her to get out of her place for just a bit because maybe then the tension they have with her husband will go away. But I'm hoping that as Time goes and after we have departed they will work things out because I know that they love each other.

"Yeah I think so too. And maybe one of these days I will come to bed without any clothes." She says with a glint in her eyes.
"Oh yeah that's got to work." I laugh.
"And if he doesn't do anything I will threaten him with divorce." She says and I think she is actually serious.
"And regret your brother words later? I don't think that's a very good idea, especially with how things are between you guys."

She looks up at me, deep in thought. She knows I'm right. Although she and Dimitri are out of the table woods, things are still tense. I'm not denying that it could work especially because he loves her, but it would rip a new crack between them.

"I just wish he could open up to me. I don't know how to make him do it." She says sadly.
"You have to be patient. And remember that this is your first real relationship." I tell her and she smiles.

We move on to talk about other things. I try my best to cheer her up as much as I can. I also want to ask Jason to talk to Dimitri. Maybe he can get through to him somehow. I hope he can infact. I know that Dimitri still feels guilty and all but if he doesn't want his marriage to break he has to pull his head out of his ass.

By dinner time, Des is in a much better mood than before. She keeps saying that she is going to miss me and I know then that she wants to leave with us. If I was in her position though, I know I'd feel the same.

The following morning Des surprises us by coming to see us out. Her healing progress is really showing and that makes me more happy. After all the hugs, we leave. The pilot doesn't waste time as soon as we get to the airport before we are on air. By the time we touch down in our city, I feel like kissing the ground to show how happy I am to be back in my city. It's still pretty late, after midnight, so when we get back at the house w immediately sleep.

By morning I feel like going back to bed. The kids didn't even want to sleep. They only went to sleep around five. Which I don't fault them because I know it's the time difference that got them beat. Jason is another reason I feel like going to bed. My husband suffers from jetlag so bad he wanted to keep me from sleeping because he wanted company.

Now I'm the one who can't sleep although I'm tired and Jason and his kids are fast asleep. I'm walking around the house feeling like a zombie. On top of everything else, Mrs Belle wants a full update about what happened back in Dubai. My body doesn't want me sleeping. I have more jetlag than Jason after all his trips.

My mother also comes for a visit as the day wears on. Everyone wants a piece of me apparently. Even the kids that kept me up half the night don't seem to want to give me space. It's only around four after I've had two cups of chamomile tea that my body gives in to the tiredness and I sleep.

It's not such a peaceful sleep though because I'm haunted with dreams and memories of our accident. This time I hear the conversation that I had missed. Where I thought I was unconscious, my mind plays back all that was said. When I wake up an hour or two later, I tell Jason about them and he confirms everything for me. When I sleep the next moment, he sleeps next to me holding me in his arms. This time my sleep is so peaceful that I sleep longer. I only wake up when Jason wakes me so that I can eat then I go back to sleep.
