CHAPTER 11

Melvin's POV.

I felt so comfortable and safe sleeping while cuddling this soft pillow, I suddenly opened my eyes and I gasped when I saw that it was night already. Since the day tht witch cursed me, I have never slept for so long before. I wanted to stand up and remove my hand but something was restricting my movement, when I looked at my arm, I saw Audrey sleeping peacefully in it.

"I'm scared, I feel like I'm falling in love with this girl even though I know how dangerous and risky it can get but I can't help it" I muttered before kissing her gently on her lips, her lips tasted so sweet that I started sucking on it roughly while my hand roamed her body.

I pulled away from her when someone suddenly open the door, I wanted to shout at the person for interrupting moment with the gorgeous sleeping princess but I smiled when I saw that it was Diana.

" Go to the garden, I'll come meet you there, Diana" I said when I noticed that she won't stop glaring at Audrey.

"Of course, my Alpha prince, I'll be expecting there" she muttered sadly before stepping out of my room.

I dressed up and walked out of my room.

"Mother! how are you doing today?"

"You don't expect me to be good when you have not consumate your marriage, do you want me to die without seeing my grandchildren? huh Melvin" she asked as she eyed me in annoyance.

" I'm sorry, mother. I wish to make you happy and fulfill your request but the thing is that.... " I trailed off staring at every where except her face.

" You see? you have no excuse, I'll take my leave now" she huffed.

" Mother, common, stop been so difficult" i groaned.

" I heard that Diana is back, we both know how much she loves you but you should minimize the hours you spend with you and spend more time with your wife, you're married now and you need to know more about her" she muttered.

" I don't understand why y'all don't like Diana, she's a nice girl and she doesn't love me, I'm just the only one she's comfortable around"

" If you say so, perhaps you're really blind to some things going on, have you thought about the reason she suddenly came back few days after your wedding, I thought she said that she'll be fine for a year or so"

" I don't know why she came back mom andi don't want to know, all I care about is that my friend is back " I said before walking away feeling angry already.

I walked in to the garden to see her sniffing the flowers in her hand carefully, I stared at her emotionlessly wishing that it was Audrey standing there.

" Alpha prince! I missed you so much, I heard that you got married but I didn't want to believe it till I see her. Is she the one on your bed? "

" Who else will it be? " I asked with a smirk while she looked away in dissapointment and frustration, she hate seeing anyone that's more beautiful than her, I don't know what her issue is.

" I got here since morning and I was surprised when I was told that you have been in your chamber since morning after training, I thought you were sick or something, that's why I came to check up on you in your room" she said while I nodded, her voice sounds so annoying to my ear that I wished that I have a magic that I can use to shut her mouth forever.

I suddenly smelt Audrey scent around the garden, I knew that she was walking towards us.

"Do you mind strolling with me like old times?" I asked her and she gasped before jumping in to my arms hugging me tightly while I almost sneered.

"Of course, should we stroll around the garden alone or around the whole palace?"

"Why don't you choose?"

"Let's stroll around the whole palace, Alpha prince"

I held her waist and we started walking around the palace while she bored me with her stupid and useless talks.

"The human world is quite amazing, I enjoyed my holiday there ad I wish to go back again but I want to spend some times with you because I missed you so much. Do you know that those humans are so gullible but most of them are so beautiful and fragile, the place...." she kept on talking and talking while we walked but I was lost in my thoughts about Audrey.

I could not get my mind off how perfect her lips were on mine, the peaceful and ease feeling I felt when I was sleeping beside her snd when I kissed her, how She looked so beautiful and enchanting like a seductress. She's too perfect for her own good, I hate the thought that she might be somewhere talking to Elvis, I wish that she'll talk to only me but my ego won't allow me to talk to her first, and I don't think that she'll talk to me again, at least not after I have snubbed her times without number.

"Alpha prince!" she tapped me staring at me, "you were not answering my questions, were you thinking about something else?"

"Yes, I was just thinking of some things I should have done today"

"ohh, I can help you with then tomorrow"

"You don't need to stress yourself about that, I can handle it"

"No, I agreed to help you, it'll be impolite if you refuse, please, you know that you're the only one I talk to around here. I'll be bored to death if you leave me alone" she said.

" Fine fine, you can help. Let's go in and eat, it's already dinner time" I muttered before walking off while she followed me.

I was surprised when I entered the dining room and they were already eating, I noticed that Diana and Audrey glared at each other hatefully.

"It's so surprising that no one dim it fit to inform me about dinner"

"Who walked away with an ugly frog when I came to call him" Audrey fired and everyone stared at her in shock.

"How dare you call me ugly frog?"

"I don't remember mentioning anyone's name but if you feel like the shoe is yours, please drop with it properly, shapeless idiot" she muttered as calmly as ever while Diana looked so angry as if she'll burst anytime soon and she walked away angrily while I sat down on my chair with a deep sigh knowing that Diana won't let it end there.

"Oh my moon goddess, you have a laser mouth, that serves her right" Kiara said while I glared at her and she continued eating while mother smiled proudly at Audrey.

I suddenly stood up and dragged Audrey out of there, pulling her to my chamber while she just kept quiet wondering what I was going to do to her.
