Chapter 11
(Damian's POV).
"Where's Juliette?" I asked Gabriel as soon as I arrived at the training ground. I wondered how she was after training with Gabriel.
Whether there were any difficulties or people did something bad to her, like disrespecting her. I deliberately let her train because she needs to protect herself from people who try to hurt her. Even though I had asked Gabriel to protect her, there was still an opportunity for others to hurt Juliette.
"It's inside. She's resting," Gabriel replied.
I walked straight to the building and saw Juliette busy talking to Sam inside. Maybe it's because there are so many werewolves here that they don't notice my presence, but I'm pretty sure Sam and I had locked eyes.
"Damian."
I growled in annoyance as I approached Juliette. This bothered me because every time I came, I always saw Juliette with Sam. I had tried so hard to separate them that I had now managed to get Juliette and I didn't want someone to take her away from me.
I should have warned Sam from the start not to go near Juliette again. In private. Making sure that he wouldn't bother us.
"Get out of here. I'll talk to him," I told Juliette.
I was almost angry when I saw her begging just to save him. But I had to restrain myself and be calm so that Juliette wouldn't feel scared while being around me.
But still...
"Y-You won't do anything bad to him, right?"
Fuck!
I growled in annoyance and grabbed the back of Juliette's neck. I crushed her lips ferociously before I let go. She looked at me in confusion with a pair of widened blue eyes.
"I might beat him to a pulp if you keep protecting him, Juliette," I whispered just above her lips before I stole another kiss from her.
"I'm sorry."
I stand up straight and look at her. I rubbed her head gently and smiled. "go outside and I'll be right back," I commanded. She nodded without saying anything and went out obediently. I was quite impressed that she always did what I ordered.
I wanted our relationship to be even closer. I wanted her eyes to focus on me. I just want her love to go crazy just for me.
Not for another werewolf ... or even an ex-mate who has no relationship anymore.
"I'm warning you, Sam. Don't bother her or you'll regret it," I hissed as I stood right in front of him. I looked at him sharply as he clenched his hands into fists.
"I'm not bothering her. I'm just advising my ex-mate because I care."
"Care? You rejected her in front of the members and marked the other female werewolf. And you still dare to say that you care about her?" I laughed mockingly.
"Love and care are different, Damian. I don't love Juliette anymore, but I still care about her as a friend," she replied.
That made me feel very angry and jealous.
I growled in annoyance. "Fuck up about love or caring. I'm not going to say this for the third time. Stay away from her" I took one step closer to Sam and gave him a sharp look. "If I still see you around her, I might do something you'll regret. It doesn't matter that you're my cousin," I threatened.
"Does Juliette know this side of you?" asked Sam. He briefly glanced at Juliette.
I gritted my teeth. My hands were clenched into tight fists.
"I probably wouldn't act like I do now if Juliette mated with another Alpha. But you ... what exactly are you planning to do by making her to be your Luna?"
"I only pick up diamonds that have been dropped on the ground by someone. And once I get it ... I won't let anyone else disturb it."
"You think Juliette will be flattered to feel that you saved her life?"
I growled. The point at which the topic of conversation was making me lose control, but I had to keep it back. And seeing him so haughty and arrogantly provoking my emotions right in front of me, made my pride feel like it was being trampled on.
And I don't like it at all.
He should learn to behave himself or if he keeps doing it to me, he might lose his life in one night.
"Yeah, I made it like that. I'm going to keep it. And if anyone tries to interfere with it, I won't hesitate to take their lives. Including you, Sam. So, be careful where you step if you don't want to fall into a pit full of sharp knives," I threatened with my eyes looking at her sharply.
And then, I turned around and walked away. I saw Juliette standing outside looking back at us. She looks so nervous as if she's afraid that I'll do something bad to Sam.
Fuck.
Why did it keep bothering me?
"What have you been talking about?" asked Juliette when I got out of the building. She was the first to approach me with an agitated expression on her face.
"It's not important," I said. I briefly glanced at Sam who was still standing there, looking straight at us. "Fuck," I growled.
With full awareness, I grabbed Juliette's waist and kissed her right in front of everyone. A kiss that was deep and vibrated my whole body to new heights.
She growled as she pushed against my chest, looking surprised, but she didn't resist as I continued to crush her lips madly.
Everyone must know that Juliette is mine.
Only mine.
