Chapter 10

ASHINA'S POV

“How long have I been unconscious?” I asked as I struggled to sit up, and luckily,y, I was helped by Susan.

“About one week ago, Everyone already said you're dead, but I kept hanging on and didn't allow them to take you away as they would want you to be cremated or do whatever they want with your body.” She said, making me wonder how she was able to know little details about this clan.

“Give me water,” I said looking at the jar of water on the table. I was given and immediately gulped down everything almost in one go. I was so thirsty that I could have ended up drinking anything watering if I hadn't seen water.

“How do you know I would be cremated if my body were to be taken away when I was unconscious?” I asked studying her expression. I feel like she looks more experienced given the fact that this would be our first time in this clan.

“Because it's a normal thing they do in the Ravenwood clan. Besides, it's a common thing that anyone would have guessed: either the body has been buried or set on fire. They're the three listed things done to a lifeless body.”

“Besides, ma'am, I have read a lot of books, and for this particular clan, I have read a lot of their history because it's one of the most popular clans in this century. They rarely go to battle because when they do it's always a win for them.” She explained everything in detail.

I wasn't able to suspect anything in her words as she seemed to be saying the truth. Besides, I see no reason why she'll be lying to him. And I have known her to always be reading during her shift period, so she may be telling the truth.

“Among those Alpha brothers, who is the strongest?”I asked

“The strongest one is said to be the second Alpha, Alpha, while the most useless one is the first Alpha, Alpha Cassius, and he rarely associates with his brothers, while Alpha Tha ne is just a normal Alpha, not too strong, and not too weak.” She said as silently as she could.

I thought about it for a moment trying to make sense out of what she had just said.” If he rarely associates with his brothers, that could only mean one thing: he was the one standing on the other side, not too far from his two brothers. Isn't it making sense?” I thought inwardly.

Thinking about it, the arrow that saved me from dying came from his side. Though it's only a guess as I wasn't that sure. I could only join the blocks together to form something, but I am yet to form anything.

After a while, when I wasn't able to get my facts straight, I thought about the fact that my bleeding back wasn't aching at all. I wasn't feeling pain or anything. I tried touching my back and I wasn't feeling any sort of pain. No matter how strong I was, I doubt my back could have healed in a short span.

“How come I am not feeling any sort of pain?” I asked because I believed it would be an immense pain, but I wasn't even feeling anything.

“My lady, they didn't want to provide any drugs for you. They said since you were punished they do not have the right to provide drugs for you unless the mistress gives out an order.”

“I pleaded for a whole night but all my pleas turned dead ears too. I went back to meet you, and when I got back, I meant a small container that seemed to contain drugs lying on the table near you.”She said, beckoning the container to me.

“At first, I was worried it could be a harmful substance, but since I have no choice and I know someone must have intentionally dropped it there for me to see. I decided to use it,” She muttered silently, avoiding my eye contact.

“Am sorry that I used the drug that I do not know where it comes from or anything, ma'am. I was just scared that something might happen to you, and luckily, you started showing symptoms of recovery.” Susan said innocently that I almost ended up bursting into laughter due to how innocent she was.

“You don't have to be sorry. I can't imagine how scared you must have been. You've grown up, Susan” I said, pulling her cheeks with a smile on my face.

I couldn't imagine what would have happened if I hadn't brought her along with me. I could remember how I almost rejected her coming along with me. Because I felt like she would suffer alongside me.

“What about your injured hand?” I asked because I couldn't see the bandage on her hands anymore.

“When I gave you the drug, I used it for myself in case anything happens so that we'll both be in the same situation. And luckily it healed up my wound within three days,” She said, waving her hand in the air.

I couldn't even see any marks of injury or anything; it was as clean as a normal, uninjured hand.

“Do you know the person who dropped the drug?” I asked as I didn't think anyone would just help us without wanting anything from us.

“No, ma'am. I just think the person was sent to by the moon goddess to help us,” She said in her childish tone, fantasizing about it, but I do not believe in such a miracle.

I believe someone is hiding in the dark watching our every movement. I don't believe any moon goddess would send someone to save me, I ain't stupid to believe in such childish stuff.

“Do you find any suspicious person?”

“Is there anyone looking at you - us in particular in a strange way?” I asked eagerly.

“No, My lady. You're thinking too much!”

“Nobody knows us here. Besides, we're nothing but random slaves.” She said with a bright smile while I only nodded my head, but I knew there was more to it.

I was still lost in the thought when my tummy made an embarrassing sound, I couldn't believe it. I haven't eaten anything reasonable for two weeks.

“As if I had known you were hungry, I already got this food for you.” She said, pointing at the loaves of bread on the table, I squeezed my face because I was expecting a rich delicacy, but I must have forgotten the fact that I wasn't a Luna but a slave.

She was about to leave when I held her hand, stopping her, “Susan, I don't know, but I feel like I have to tell you. I just learned that I wasn't pregnant…………..” I was interrupted immediately which made me crease my brow.

Susan covered my mouth with her index, which only meant she didn't want to hear it or she didn't want me to continue. I gave her a surprise yet questioning look wondering why she had done that.

“It's okay, ma'am. I am aware; I followed you when you left hurriedly because I was so worried about you.” She said with a bright smile before leaving to bring the bread.

She turned around and looked at me “Isn't it better not to have the baby in you because I doubt the baby would have survived the stress you went through.” She said,

I thought about it for a couple of minutes, and it finally made sense to me. Life is unpredictable; if I could predict what is happening to me right now, four years ago, maybe I wouldn't find myself in these messy situations, but think about it again. Everything happens for a reason.

RATED SCENE AHEAD….

Writer's POV

“Make me hard,” Kael growled at the slave in front of him as he smoked intensively. They know the man's rule. No matter the smoke, they must not show any form of discomfort or cough, or else that'll be the end of them.

“You know what will happen to your head if you're unable to make it hard within five right?” Alpha asked with a venomous smile at the corner of his mouth.

“I shall give it my best, Alpha.” She stuttered before getting straight to work. After all, it was her life that was on the line.

With a shaky hand, the slave grabs his shorts and pulls them back, making the man's Manhood bounce out. The slave's breath has become itchy as she knows her life is on the line and could lose it at any fucking time.

Almost every slave always tries to run away so as not to satisfy the Alpha. A lot of them have lost their lives since they were unable to make the man hard.

The slave's heart was as heavy as a stone but she knew better than to let out those tears in her heart in front of the man.

Slowly, yet steadily, she put the man's Manhood in her mouth, going with the flow as calmly as she could. But no matt

er how hard she tries, the man's dick remains normal.

“Oh no!” She thought to herself again.
