Chapter 155: Forgive?

Terrence looked deeply at Bianca's earnest face, then suddenly leaned down and pressed his lips against hers.

Their lips touched, but Terrence didn't go further, treating Bianca like a precious treasure to be cherished and protected.

Lips, cheeks, eyes—one spot after another. Bianca felt tingling wherever Terrence's lips touched.

Terrence's hand had already wrapped around her waist, pulling their bodies closer together.

Ten minutes later, Bianca was breathing softly in Terrence's arms, her voice a bit weak when she spoke.

"That's enough! Enough! I'm still injured, remember."

Terrence rested his chin on Bianca's shoulder, completely calm now, as if he hadn't been the one unwilling to let go just moments ago.

He lowered his eyes and said slowly, "It's never enough. I'm letting you off easy now, but you'll have to pay me back later!"

As for when and how, that would be up to Terrence.

But Bianca just wanted it to end now—this was a hospital, after all. Who knew when a doctor, nurse, or visitor might show up? How embarrassing would that be!

Terrence didn't continue kissing her, but he wouldn't leave Bianca's side either. That night, he naturally lay down beside her.

The hospital's single bed wasn't really meant for two people, but as long as they stayed close enough, it wasn't a problem.

The next morning, Bianca was woken by bright sunlight and saw Terrence already sitting nearby, handling work.

To avoid disturbing him, Bianca moved very quietly, but because the room was so silent, Terrence immediately noticed she was awake.

"It's still early. Do you want to sleep a bit more, Bianca?"

Bianca shook her head. "No, I don't want to stay in the hospital anymore. Let's go home to recover."

Terrence naturally agreed to Bianca's request.

He nodded and had Barry handle her discharge paperwork.

Meanwhile, Bianca picked up her phone to check it.

The school had moved pretty fast—they'd already fired the student advisor.

Besides that, there was also the reform plan Terrence had sent after she woke up. The school staff must have worked overtime late into the night without much sleep.

Bianca suddenly said, "The school staff who worked overtime last night must get triple pay!"

She didn't want them working for free—that would be wrong.

Terrence smiled indulgently. "Alright, I'll notify them."

Bianca climbed out of bed and went straight to hug Terrence, moving her lower body closer. She spread her legs and sat down on his lap.

Terrence's expression clearly froze.

"Bianca..."

"Mr. Anderson, you're so good to me."

Terrence, who had been working hard, couldn't focus on work anymore. He tossed his tablet aside and pulled Bianca tight against his waist.

"There's even better. Want to try?"

When the student advisor arrived at the office early that morning to pack up and leave, her whole body was stiff.

Many teachers were already in the office that morning. When they saw her, they naturally knew what had happened and started whispering and pointing.

The student advisor's face looked terrible, but since the school had cut off any chance of her staying, she could only carry her packed belongings and head out.

As she left the office, she heard other teachers talking behind her.

"Serves her right. She used her position to bully students, and now she's bullied someone she can't afford to mess with!"

The student advisor hung her head even lower.

Bianca's discharge was complete. When she and Terrence reached the hospital entrance, a figure suddenly rushed out from the side.

Before either could react, Thea was already kneeling in front of Bianca.

"Bianca, please let Blair go. It was just some minor squabbling. Why do you have to be so aggressive and not let Blair off? Blair hasn't really done anything to you!"

Thea's words were almost tearful.

Bianca found it laughable.

Put Thea in ancient times, and she could have knelt at the palace gates pleading her case.

But did she really not know what Blair had done?

That seemed unlikely.

"Bianca, please just agree. I'll give you whatever you want from now on!"

As Thea spoke, tears actually began falling.

A crowd of onlookers who didn't know what was happening started whispering about Thea and Bianca.

What kind of serious conflict could there be within a family?

"Miss, you look fine. This is probably just a misunderstanding. Why don't you be the bigger person and let it go?" someone in the crowd called out.

Bianca crouched down halfway in front of Thea.

"Trying to pressure me with public opinion?"

In fact, the moment Thea knelt down, many people around had already started filming with their phones.

Thea shook her head, her voice louder. "Bianca, how could that be? I just want you not to let Blair get a disciplinary record."

Bianca laughed.

"No disciplinary record? Then let's go to jail instead. She's an adult anyway. What do you think, my dear stepmother?"

Bianca seemed to be seriously discussing this with Thea.

Thea froze, wanting to say no, but Bianca had already pulled out her phone.

"Perfect timing. Let me call the police."

Her voice was just loud enough for Thea to hear.

Thea panicked immediately, scrambling to her feet to try to grab Bianca's hand. "Don't!"

But before she could touch Bianca's hand, Terrence swatted it away.

"Back off!" Terrence said coldly.

Thea fell on her bottom, looking up at Terrence, frightened by the darkness in his eyes.

Thea crawled backward two steps from the ground, trying to make herself as invisible as possible, all her scheming from before completely gone.

The onlookers who had been about to speak up for her saw this scene and noticed how Thea had no confidence.

Everyone cautiously glanced at Terrence and Bianca, wondering if they themselves had misjudged the situation.

But the couple didn't even give them a glance. Terrence simply scooped Bianca up in his arms.

"Ignore her. Let's go home."

With Terrence's words, Bianca was already being placed in the car.

Thea gritted her teeth and grabbed onto the car door.

"Bianca, please help Blair! She's the sister you grew up with!"

Bianca said coldly, "Do something wrong, pay the price!"

"No! But you're sisters, not strangers. Even if you have misunderstandings, can't misunderstandings be cleared up?"

Thea kept wailing, as if everything really was just a small matter, not the life-threatening things Blair had done.

She even grabbed Bianca's sleeve again from outside the car.

Terrence's expression instantly turned cold, staring hard at Thea's "unclean" hand.
