“You are just a daughter from in by your mother when she married my father, or Scarlet said as her gaze turned sharper as she turned to Mr Jenkins.

“You are my father’s illegitimate children?”

The Jenkins froze when they heard her words as they never expected her to utter such words. Other than John, who understood that Scarlet was just testing them and she didn’t have an evidence, the rest had pales faces.

Sophia was stunned when she saw their reactions. She wasn’t a fool, she realized the meaning too well. In hurriedly turned to Scarlet only to her staring at Ann with a cold smirk.

Mr Jenkins in fear of looking into Scarlet’s eyes out of guilt, he hurriedly averted his gaze but accidently met with Martin. He was startling and froze. Sweat started forming on his forehead.

Seeing their reaction, John felt like slapping them. Many times he wondered whether he really belonged to that family as each one of them was a fool. Now that their reaction had given away, what kind of excuse could they make? Oh, deny Scarlet’s words?

“Take their hair sample and go do some testings,” Austin instructed the bodyguard who was standing by the side.

He didn’t need to explain as it was self explanatory as they had heard everything that had been said. “Yes third young master,” the bodyguard said before walking forward.

“Don’t touch me you freak,” Ann shouted as she slapped the bodyguard’s hand but the man just forcibly grabbed her hair and plugged it. “Ouch,” she scream as she held her head as she was in pain.

This time, even John who had been calm panicked. Things weren’t really not going as they had planned. His eyes landed on his sister, they were so cold and blame shone in his eyes.

If it weren’t for her being stupid and always speaking back at Scarlet, would they be in this situation? This past week, he had kept explaining to her that Scarlet wasn’t the same orphan she had been years ago that they could bully her. When she came back, they needed to be careful.

The bodyguard then went to Mr Jenkins who was still in daze, seeming not to understand what was happening.

“Ann, you better not mess with me. The test will just be an evidence but I already know what is happening here. I might be young but not a fool. Just because I allowed you all to live in my house peacefully doesn’t mean that I am so kind and would let anyone step on me. Actually, no one should ever step on me. You can only blame yourself for what will come next,” Scarlet said coldly.
