Chapter 191 Lock Natasha Up

Chapter 192 The Turner Family Visits

"I'm not sick, let go of me, let go!"

Natasha struggled desperately, but couldn't break free. Soon, several servants dragged and pulled her back to her room together.

The moment the door closed, Natasha's crazy cursing erupted from inside, making John frown again.

He walked to Natasha's bedroom door in a few steps and shouted sternly inside, "Natasha, quiet down, or I'll call the doctor over right now."

"I'm definitely telling Grandma about today, and she won't let you off!"

Natasha's defiant yelling came from the room, but after the shouting, it did quiet down.

John irritably pinched his brow, glanced at the stains on Serenity's clothes and said, "Go change your clothes, quickly. The Turner family might arrive any minute."

"Okay."

Serenity obediently responded and went back to her room to change.

Seeing me still standing nearby, John said to me, "Helena, I'm counting on you to stay with Serenity today. If she does anything inappropriate, I hope you can help her out."

I hadn't seen Willow since arriving today. Even with all that commotion just now, Willow still hadn't appeared. Where was she?

Before I could ask, footsteps came from downstairs. The butler rushed in hurriedly and announced loudly, "Mr. Lockwood, the Turner family is here. They're already at the front gate."

"Alright, got it."

After John calmly responded, he called toward the door behind him, "Serenity, are you ready? The Turner family has arrived. Time to go greet our guests."

"Ready, Dad."

The door behind opened and Serenity walked out.

This time she had changed into a lake-green dress, refined and quite fitting her style.

John looked her over, nodded with satisfaction, and said, "Let's go, head downstairs."

Henry had been ready downstairs for a while. The moment he saw me, he looked over with questioning eyes. I shook my head slightly, signaling him not to ask.

Henry understood and didn't ask anything, just said, "Let's go."

Our group had just walked out of the living room when we saw the Turner family being led toward the living room by servants.

The moment he saw everyone, John's face instantly filled with smiles.

The Turner family took this meeting quite seriously. Not only did they bring piles of gifts, but even Trevor Turner, the Turner family patriarch who rarely appeared in public, had come.

Behind him followed Oliver and Antony. Antony wore a shy smile on his face, forming a sharp contrast with Oliver's cold demeanor.

You could tell that Antony had an honest personality and was a genuine person. If Serenity didn't cause any more trouble, being with Antony would actually be a decent marriage.

"Welcome, welcome!"

John said, raising both hands to greet them, warmly shaking hands with Trevor.

"Mr. Turner, your presence brings honor to my humble home. Please come in, please come in."

Trevor nodded slightly, his gaze falling on Serenity. He sized her up discreetly a few times before saying, "Mr. Lockwood, you're too kind."

After finishing, he looked at Henry and said, "This must be Mr. Henry Lockwood?"

He then actively extended his hand toward Henry and said, "Truly impressive for someone so young. I've heard about your company for quite some time. Very impressive indeed."

"You're too kind."

Henry bowed slightly and extended his hand. After they released, Trevor glanced at me and said with a smile, "This must be Helena. I've heard you're quite capable."

He then turned to Oliver and said, "Oliver."

After he spoke, Oliver walked over, respectfully supporting his arm and said, "Grandfather."

Trevor nodded and said to me, "You and Helena are about the same age, and we'll be relatives from now on. You should learn more from her."

"Yes, Grandfather."

Oliver nodded slightly and said to me, "Helena and I are already working together. I hope we can continue to have pleasant cooperation in the future."

Hearing this, Trevor said with some surprise, "So you already know each other?"

"Yes."

After hearing Oliver's answer, Trevor was quite satisfied. "Good, young people should communicate more. But Oliver, you can't bully her just because Helena is a lady."

Trevor's words immediately drew laughter. Amid the laughter, Oliver's originally cold expression softened a bit. He quickly glanced at me and said, "I won't. Helena is as capable as any man. She's very impressive."

"Oliver and Helena look quite well-matched standing together. What a pity Helena has a boyfriend."

John said this, then seemed to realize he'd misspoken and quickly covered, "Mr. Turner, Oliver, please come in."

Trevor walked into the living room first with a calm expression. After taking his seat, he looked around puzzled and said, "If I remember correctly, Mr. Lockwood has another daughter. Why don't I see her?"

Today's lineup was indeed strange. Willow, who should be the lady of the house, wasn't here. Natasha wasn't here either. Only Henry and I were present, along with today's leading lady, Serenity. It was indeed a bit off.

Hearing this, John quickly said, "My wife is unwell and is at the hospital. Natasha went to take care of her, so she's not here either."

Hearing this, Trevor frowned slightly and said, "I heard your son came back too. Don't tell me he also went to the hospital?"

"Yes, yes."

John quickly agreed, "I didn't arrange things well today. Please forgive me."

Trevor said nothing more. At his age, how could he not see through what was going on?

Serenity was John's illegitimate daughter, so her family status was definitely lower than Natasha's. But Trevor probably didn't expect that the other Lockwood family members wouldn't even bother to go through the motions—they simply didn't show up at all.

He frowned slightly, raised his head to look at Antony, and saw Antony standing beside Serenity, holding her hand, looking at her affectionately.

Seeing this, Trevor didn't bring up the subject again. Instead, he began discussing Serenity and Antony's wedding.

After discussion, both families reached an agreement to hold the wedding directly, with the date set for the 8th, three months from now.

The timeline was rushed, but neither family objected, so it was settled.

After seeing the Turner family off, John finally plopped down on the sofa. He sighed and said, "Finally settled. I can finally relax."

After speaking, he looked at Serenity with a gentle expression and said, "Serenity, you've had a long day. Go upstairs and rest early. While you're at it, tidy up your room. You're an engaged woman now. See what you're missing or need, and I'll buy it for you later."

"Thank you, Dad."

After Serenity went upstairs, John couldn't help but complain, "Willow and Natasha have gone too far!"
