Chapter 97 Tell Me The Truth!
The day after her husband’s burial, Mira and Ruth began their journey to the villages, spreading good news, and encouraging farmers to begin planting again as they handed over groceries and other basic necessities to farmers and the poorest of the poor.
Everyone was given food because she wanted them to feel valued and loved.
She ate with them together with their families, listened to their woes and joined in their planting.
The farmers and poor pack members were teary-eyed because it was the first time that the leader of their pack truly cared about addressing their dire condition, visited them and never hesitated to go down in the dirt to help plant crops side-by-side with them to show them her sincerity. It was such an exhilarating experience because when they thought they were already forgotten, the leader showed up and shower them with love and compassion.
Mira’s sincere effort and excellent leadership spread far and wide and before she even finished visiting the villages, the news had already reached the people and they were excited to meet their new leader who was different from the others before her.
The Make the Moon Star Great Again slogan has become the pack member’s mantra, spreading good vibes and inspiration through darkest times.
Mira promised everyone she would build free tuition public schools so everyone could have a free education.
She also promised the farmers that there will be comprehensive reform when it comes to pricing of their products and that no middleman or scammer can take advantage of their hard work because she will appoint a leader who will provide transparent transactions connecting them directly to the public buyers.
The farmers were so pleased with her sincerity and fantastic plans that they became her number one supporters.
Wherever Mira goes, pack members cheer for her and chant her amazing slogan to make the Moon Star Pack great again.
One sunny afternoon, while on a one-day break from touring the villages, Mira was having a serious discussion with Ruth.
“The gap between the poor and the rich in our pack is widening. We need to do something about it. We need to uplift the livelihoods of these poor people,” Mira sighed heavily.
“Yeah, that’s true. I’m already making a list of how we can provide enough jobs and food to put on their table. We can make a community pantry in every village. The well-to-do people will donate groceries to the pantry, so when there is no money anymore and no food to eat, the poor people can go to the pantry and get some food to survive another day,” Ruth suggested.
“Good idea, Ruth. I’m also thinking of providing them with basic necessities such as one sack of rice per month, or basic groceries such as sugar, cooking oil, sardines and noodles. But all these need huge money if we want to implement them all,” Mira sighed.
"Yeah, free education is a big help to them. But they also need jobs and sustenance for their everyday food needs because not everyone is farmer," Ruth stressed.
They fell silent for a moment, then Mira thought of a better idea.
“Helping the poorest of the poor is our main goal. We no longer have to worry about rich people because they know how to make money and have endless sources of wealth. We will focus on struggling families first. How to address their number one problem which is putting food on their table every day?” Mira muses. “And the best way to overcome their hunger lies at their doorsteps…” she added.
Ruth's eyes gleamed with excitement. “I want to hear your suggestions, Luna.”
“We will inform every leader of the village to find a good spot for a community garden where everyone can work together to plant fast-growing crops or vegetables. The plot size can be the size of two basketball courts, or any unused fertile land near their villages where they can plant vegetables, bananas, root crops, corn, and many more," Mira said and paused for a moment to catch her breath.
Then she continued, "Every day they will water the plants, and they will grow the plants in abundance. Then everyone in the village can harvest vegetables and crops and no one will starve again. It will be a community effort at food sustainability. We will provide them with free seedlings and fertilizers. Their job is to grow crops and harvest for their own food consumption. What do you think?”
Ruth was amazed by Luna Amira’s brilliant suggestion. She had never thought of it before. “That’s an amazing livelihood project, Luna. Many unused land in our villages is waiting to be cultivated, but people lack encouragement and ideas. I’m sure they will welcome your idea because it can help put food on their table fast.”
"Alright, we inform every village leader to start a food revolution and plant vegetables and crops in their backyard. The leaders should lead the people and set an example so that no one in their community will go hungry again!” Mira said enthusiastically.
The women proceed to make comprehensive livelihood projects that can help poor families secure food on their tables.
That night they slept early because the next day they had another village to visit.

A few days later.
At the royal family mansion, Alpha Gideon arrives home after spending time with his brothers on another mission.
He planted a kiss on his wife’s cheeks. “How’s your day, babe?” he asked, shedding his clothes in front of her.
Luna Rosie’s face turned sour instantly. She released a deep sigh. She was supposed to be happy because she was back in the royal family and was reunited with her beloved husband, but she’s not fully happy yet because he keeps calling her ‘BABE!’ and she hates it. Before the soul swap took place, he always called her ~ my love. It didn't take her long to realize that ‘Babe’ was his and Mira’s pet names for each other.
Alpha Gideon notices the scowl on his wife’s face. What’s wrong?” he asked. “Did I say something that annoys you?” he asked, observing her face.
“Yes, you do! Stop calling me babe! Start calling me my love again because I’m not fucking Mira anymore. I’m your beloved Rosie, I'm back in my own body,” Luna Rosie dropped the bomb.
His eyes widened in shock and disbelief. He couldn't believe what he had just heard from his wife thinking she was still Mira because he couldn't see the difference between the two women at all.
“W-what did you say?” he asked aloud. He frowned deeply. “Are you telling the truth? Or were you just trying to prank me?”
“Yes, that’s the truth. Mira is gone, I don’t know where her soul is transferred to. All I know is that when I opened my eyes, I was already back in my own body." Luna Rosie explained in a serious tone.
“W-when did this happen? Why didn't you tell me?” he asked, shocked to the core.
“Because I thought I didn't have to rush things because it might affect your emotions and mental well-being because of another fucking switch. I was planning to tell you the truth next week but you keep calling me babe and I hate it. Now that you know I’m back, start calling me my love again, and don’t ever call me babe again. It makes me angry and jealous,” she said, annoyed.
Alpha Gideon sat in the chair and pondered his wife’s revelations. He was greatly surprised because he thought the soul in his wife’s body was still Mira. “So where is Mira's soul now?” he finally asked.
“I don’t know. I have no idea where her soul was. I think, since she is a good person, maybe her soul has already risen to heaven and she will never be reborn again,” Luna Rosie said, wanting him to forget Mira.
He still wants to know where Mira’s soul is. “Um, before you return to your body, whose body does your soul inhabit?” he asked curiously, wanting to see that person. Maybe Mira’s soul had transferred to that person’s body.
Luna Rosie groaned in dismay.
As expected, her husband wanted to know whose body she had transferred after Mira’s body died. He connected the dots easily. Right now, he still cares for Mira deeply and it hurts her so badly. She was enraged that he was still interested in Mira.
She breathes heavily. “Can you please stop asking me where Mira's soul is now? After Mira's body died, my soul went to the land of the dead, floating in endless darkness. I don’t know how long I stayed there. But when I woke up last week, I was already back in my body,” she lied, straight faced. She will never tell her husband the truth about Luna Amira, the body she occupied for a short time.
Alpha Gideon becomes silent, wondering if his wife was telling him the whole truth or she was just lying so he can’t pursue Mira anymore. But how can he find Mira’s soul if his wife does not tell him the truth? On the other hand, maybe it’s for the best. Now that his wife is back, he should just be grateful for it. They can finally continue where they left off.
“My love, are you happy that I‘m finally back in my body and our family is complete again?” Luna Rosie asked her husband directly.
“Yes of course! I’m happy you're finally back in my arms again,” he said in elation. He enveloped her in a bear hug, happy to have her back in his life again because after Mira’s body died he thought he had already lost her forever.
She looked deeply into his eyes. “You should forget about Mira if you want our marriage life to return to normal. Everything was okay between us before the soul swap happened. Now that the Moon Goddess has finally granted my wish to return to my body, let’s not waste this wonderful moment to be reunited with each other. Now our family is complete again. I’m excited to finally give birth to our son,” she said in a thrilled voice.
Alpha Gideon finally smiled. “You are right. Now that you are back, everything will be okay,” he replied cheerily.
The couple hugged each other tightly. Everything is back to where it started. The soul swap was already a thing of their past, like a dream full of nightmares, and they woke up to the reality that they were still together.
“I just hope that the Moon Goddess will stop playing with our destiny because it was not funny at all,” he said with a sigh. The mental and emotional stress they both endured because of the soul swap was too much to bear.
“I don’t know why the soul swap happened to me. But it doesn’t matter anymore. We can finally forget about it because I'm already back in my original body. You have no idea how happy I am right now!" Luna Rosie burst into tears, delighted that her husband had welcomed her with open arms.
“Shh, don’t cry. Let’s forget about the soul swap, let's move on from it. And from now on I will never mention Mira’s name again,” he assured her, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead.
“Thank you, my love. Thank you for making me so happy today,” Luna Rosie said, as tears of happiness flooded her eyes.
That night as the couple lay beside each other on the bed, Alpha Gideon slept late because he kept thinking about Mira’s soul. Where is her soul right now?
If Mira was reborn into another body, and in another country or city, maybe they would never see each other again because there are so many people in the world, it will be very difficult for them to find each other.
He internally decided to stop thinking about Mira and wished her soul well wherever she is right now.
From now on, he would focus on his family and forget Mira for good.
After reaching the decision to forget Mira, peace finally engulfed his consciousness and he drifted into a deep sleep.
But Luna Rosie was still wide awake, pretending she was already asleep. She opened her eyes after hearing her husband snoring.
She wanted to know what happened to Luna Amira of the Moon Star Pack after Olga successfully hanged her to die to make it appear like a suicide attempt. Did Luna Amira survive or was she already dead?
If she survived, is there a chance that Mira’s soul has transferred to Luna Amira’s body just like what happened to her as she successfully returned to her body?
She fears it's a possibility.
Tomorrow, she must start searching online for the latest happenings in the Moon Star Pack.
She wanted to know if Luna Amira survived and whether Mira took over her body or not.
The good thing is, her husband believes her claim that after Mira’s body died, her soul did not inhabit another body and she was reborn straight back to her original body.
If Mira miraculously takes over Luna Amira’s body, it will be impossible for Mira and her husband to cross paths again because the Moon Star Pack was situated on the country’s last frontier.
They will never meet again! She was sure of that.
She smiled confidently, trying to assure herself that Mira would never seek her husband if she was reborn into Luna Amira’s body.
She finally closed her eyes and drifted into a peaceful slumber beside her husband.
