Chapter 41 The Truth

Chapter 41 The Truth
Before Mira could interrupt, Luna Rosie was already spilling the beans. “My love, please hear me out. This is me. I’m the original Luna Rosie, I’m your real wife! And this person here is Mira the maid! Mira and I are having a soul swap!” she declares aloud.
Mira groaned in annoyance. Alpha Gideon hasn't eaten his dinner yet but Luna Rosie has already jumped the gun. The lioness was afraid that she wouldn't reveal the truth tonight. What is she going to do now?
Alpha Gideon's brows snapped together, looking at Luna Rosie sharply. “What the hell are you talking about? Are you crazy? You are not my wife! She is my wife!” he said, pointing his hand at Mira.
Mira didn't say a word. She was observing how Luna Rosie would proceed. How can she convince her husband that she is the real wife?
“Soul swap? Are you crazy? I don’t believe you! You better leave now or else I will ask the guards to throw you out of the mansion because you are making up stupid stories!” Alpha Gideon threatened her.
“My love, please listen to me! I’m Luna Rosie. I am your real wife. My soul was transferred to Mira’s ugly body while Mira’s soul was transferred to my body! Please believe me! I’m not making things up,” Luna Rosie begged helplessly.
“Leave the room now before my patience runs out!” Alpha Gideon gave her an ultimatum.
After realizing that she couldn't make her husband believe her claim, Luna Rosie sought Mira’s assistance. “Mira, confess to my husband now! You promise me that you will confess to my husband about the soul swap,” she begged desperately.
Mira was annoyed that Luna Rosie had destroyed her plans, she whispered, “Leave the room now, I will clean up the mess you have created. Wait for me outside. He needs to eat his dinner first before we bombard him with problems.”
Luna Rosie refused to obey Mira's orders. “No. I will not leave this room until you confess to him about our soul swap!” she demanded fiercely.
Mira groaned in dismay. The hot-tempered lioness refused to listen to her anymore.
The frown on Alpha Gideon’s face deepened. “What is going on my love? "I'm starving. Can I eat now? Ah, before you feed me, send Mira out of the room. She's creeping me out with her soul swap claim. Does she have a fever or something? Why is she spouting nonsense?”
Mira sighed heavily and grabbed Luna Rosie’s arm, forcibly trying to push her to the door. “I said my husband needed to eat dinner first. Are you deaf?” she asked, annoyed.
Luna Rosie held her ground. “I’m not going anywhere until you confess to my husband the truth!” She yelled stubbornly in her face.
Alpha Gideon saw that the maid was refusing to leave the room. “My love that maid of yours has truly lost her mind. If she doesn't leave the room on her own then just call the guard outside to do it for you. And please choose another maid to take her place. I don’t want to see her face again in this room. She is so troublesome,” he said in a hard tone.
“See, your husband won't hesitate to throw you out of the mansion. You better leave now,” Mira repeated.
Luna Rosie looked at her husband in desperation. “My love, you might not believe me but your fake wife didn't lose her memory after waking up from death. The reason why your wife lost her memory is because the soul occupying my body now is Mira’s soul and my soul is now in Mira’s body. Our souls have swapped. Why don’t you believe me? Please believe me. I’m telling you the truth!” she said in despair.
Something snapped in Alpha Gideon’s mind. His eyes narrowed. Wait, the way this maid talked to him, why did she sound like his wife? What the hell is going on? Things are getting weirder and confusing as the minutes pass by. “Mira, leave the room now!” He commands irritably.
Mira gently pushed Luna Rosie to the door. “Listen to me for once. After your husband finishes eating his meal. I will confess the truth to him. Go now!” she whispered urgently.
Luna Rosie finally leaves the room.
Alpha Gideon addressed his wife. His brows were drawn together. “What’s going on, my love? Why is your maid spouting nonsense?"
Mira smiled. “Don’t mind her, my love. I apologized on her behalf. I will explain everything after you finish eating your meal,” she said calmly and picked up the tray. She walked to the bed and started feeding her husband.
“That crazy maid of yours mentioned soul swapping. Is she out of her mind?” He snorted while chewing his food.
“Yeah, she’s a little bit crazy,” Mira murmured, feeling nervous inside.
She groaned inwardly. Tonight is going to be the longest night of her life.
Her life is about to change, for the worse or for the better? Only heaven knows. Sigh. She already lost the chance to pleasure him one last time because Luna Rosie already blew her cover.
She can no longer keep pretending. She and Luna Rosie have just opened Pandora's box. There is no turning back. They can only move forward.
“Pick another maid. That maid of yours is crazy. I don’t like her crazy antics,” Alpha Gideon said.
“Copy, my love.” Mira nodded her head gloomily.
“After I finish eating, we will start with our hanky-panky session, okay?” he said with a wink. His eyes shimmered with carnal desire.
Mira giggled. “Oh my, are you horny again?”
Alpha Gideon grins like a naughty teenager. “Can you blame me? I crave every inch of you. I enjoy the way you rub my cock, so good.”
Mira gazed at his face adoringly, her eyes overflowing with love. She would definitely pleasure him tonight for the last time. Before she breaks their bond, before she reveals the ugly truth, she will make him feel happy first. “Hurry up, eat so we can start our steamy rendezvous," she said seductively, looking at him alluringly.
“I’m nearly done,” he replied, chuckling, amused by the sultry look she gave him.
After Alpha Gideon finished eating, Mira arranged the dirty dishes back on the tray. Done, she walked to the bed, maintaining eye contact with her husband.
Alpha Gideon chuckled. “Let’s get started, my love,” he said huskily, his eyes burning with passion.
“And now is the moment we’ve been waiting for, my love. Fun time!” Mira giggled, kissing his lips hungrily, as she kneaded his muscled chest down to his crotch where his manhood was already waiting impatiently for her touch.
Alpha Gideon and Mira engaged in a heated kiss, filled with lust and heated passion.
Alpha Gideon ravaged Mira’s lips while she continued to stroke his swollen cock.
“Ah so good, harderrr, fasterrrr,” he said, grunting in ecstasy.
She stroked his cock faster and faster turning it into hard steel. Her fingers produced an intense sensation rocking his body wave after wave.
Alpha Gideon’s body clenched as he reached his earth-shattering climax. For a few minutes, his consciousness was suspended in bliss, and then his breathing gradually returned to normal.
He looked at her face lovingly and tenderly. “I love you, dear wife.”
“I love you so much, my husband. Please remember me after I’m gone,” Mira said in a whisper, hugging him tightly one last time, reluctant to let go of him. If only she could continue being his wife, she would insanely be happy, but she’s fucking tired of Luna Rosie’s constant bullying. Everything has to end tonight.
Confused, Alpha Gideon looked deeply into her eyes. “Huh? W-what do you mean by gone? Where are you going? Are you leaving me?” He asked worriedly.
Teary-eyed, Mira took a deep breath. “Let’s have a serious talk. OK? Luna Rosie is telling you the truth. She was your real wife. Her soul inhabited my body, while my soul inhabited her body. Our souls have swapped. It happened after we both died at the same time after our bodies were afflicted by the deadly flu virus that ravaged the land,” she explained, her mouth quivering, on the verge of tears.
Stunned, Alpha Gideon stared at his wife’s face, shaking his head in utter shock and disbelief. “No, this can’t be! Please stop making up stories now!” He yelled irritably. Why are both the maid and his wife saying the same thing? What the hell is going on?
“I told you I am Mira the maid,” she insisted in a serious tone.
“My love, please stop making up things! You and your maid are getting on my nerves!” Alpha Gideon snapped angrily.
“Listen to me first. Do you remember? After I woke up from death I told you that I had lost all my memories. That was a big lie. The reason I can’t remember things is because I’m not your wife. I am Mira the scarred face maid. The one talking to you now is me, Mira’s soul, and the woman you kicked out earlier was your true wife. She is Luna Rosie who inhabits my body. Did you understand everything now?” she said, hoping that he would accept things fast because she didn't want to stay another minute in the room with him. Watching him struggle to accept the truth broke her heart into a million pieces.
He stared at her with astonishment and disbelief flashing in his eyes. “My love, don’t play a cruel joke on me. I’m still dealing with my injury. Please stop this madness!” he pleaded.
Mira finally broke into tears. “I’m so sorry. I was pretending that I had lost my memories, but the truth is, I’m Mira the maid. You have to accept the truth. The soul swap is real. Luna Rosie and I didn't make it up, it’s real! It happened to me and her and we don’t know why! You have to believe me!” she said desperately.
“No! This is all a lie! I can’t accept it!” Alpha Gideon roared, vigorously shaking his head in denial.
Mira looked into his eyes and said, “I do love you with all my heart. But I don't want to deceive you anymore. You deserve to know the truth. I will call your wife so she can explain the rest to you,” she said miserably. Tears rolled down her face as she walked away from the bed, away from her beloved.
“My love, don’t go!” Alpha Gideon said forlornly, having a hard time accepting the truth. His chest squeezing painfully.
Mira ignored his heartbreaking pleas. She opened the door and left the room.
She came face to face with the anxious Luna Rosie who was waiting outside the door. “It’s done. The truth is out. I already told your husband the truth. Go inside and comfort your husband,” she said calmly and walked towards the staircase, feeling empty inside.
As she climbed the stairs, tears rolled down her face in torrents.
She paused at the top of the stairs. "Where am I going?" she asked herself, feeling lost.
Ah, she will take refuge in Luna Rosie’s room, waiting for the storm to come.
