"If they really did something unpardonable, I'm willing to take the punishment for them."
Wendy's acting disgusted me, but I didn't say anything.
Winson quickly walked down the steps and pulled her up.
He scolded, "don't you know what's wrong with you? What are you doing?"
Wendy took a step back and cried, "no, Winson. My cousin hurt me, but I don't blame them. They were just confused for a while. I know you treat them like this for my own good, but... I... I'm not angry anymore. Please don't blame them, okay?"
"Wendy, stop it. It's none of your business. Go back now."
It was rare for Wendy to question Winson in a loud voice, "what did they do wrong? Why did you punish them like this? Didn't you say that you would do anything for me as long as it was what I wanted? Winson, why did you break your promise? You promised me,"
Wendy was so excited that her heart raced violently. Then she covered the position of her right kidney with her hand, closed her eyes in pain and fainted.
Seeing this, Winson held her arm and shouted anxiously, "Wendy..."
Winson's POV
Outside the ward of the hospital, the doctor said, "Wendy's kidney function has been constantly dropping. The later the operation is delayed, the lower the success rate will be in the future."
Then the doctor left.
On the second morning, when Edward arrived, I took him to my office.
Seeing his serious face, I asked, "do you also think it's not optimistic?"
Edward put down the test result in his hand and said truthfully, "I've checked Wendy's condition just now. My colleague is right. This operation can't be delayed. Elisa's physical condition is not suitable for the operation."
I called Philip.
"It's me. Take Natasha to the hospital and prepare for the operation."
Edward narrowed his eyes and asked, "Winson, won't... won't you regret it?"
I stood up and walked out.
Edward frowned when he saw the look in his eyes.
Natasha's POV
In fact, I have already prepared for the operation.
The only thing I'm worried about now is my father and brother.
So when I was taken to the hospital and finished the pre operation examination, I immediately asked Philip to help me invite Winson.
Winson came to my ward. His face was still cold, but his eyes were always on my face.
"Have you calmed down? About my family, can you confirm to me before my operation?"
Clenching her fists, Winson made up his mind and threatened, "no way, Natasha. Don't try to threaten me with the surgery, and don't expect to die on the operating table. If you die, you can't imagine what your father and brother will suffer. Because I will send you to hell one by one without hesitation."
After saying that, he turned around and walked quickly to the door.
"Winson, you'd better not regret it all your life."
Winson's hand that opened the door paused for a moment, and he said in a cold voice, "I will never regret it. If you dare to die, I will let you die uneasily."
He slammed the door and left.
This morning, Edward said that his teacher would personally perform the operation, and the success rate was five percent.
I won't die.
Of course not.
I closed my eyes. It turned out that when a person's heart was extremely desolate, it was empty.
My stubbornness in the past ten years had finally become a joke.
Wendy and I will perform the operation in two operating room at the same time.
Standing at the door of my operating room, Winson looked up at the light of "in operation" on the door.
He paced back and forth by the door, with his hands clasped, and sometimes put them in his pockets.
It was the first time that Philip had seen Winson so uneasy.
After a long time, the door of the operating room suddenly opened. The medical staff protected the kidney that had been taken out and ran to another operating room.
Winson's POV
I became anxious again. Today's time seems to pass very slowly.
After a long time, Edward and another doctor in surgical uniform came out of the next operating room and trotted over.
I hurried.
The doctor didn't stop and ran into the operating room. I stopped Edward.
"What happened?"
With a serious look on his face, Edward said, "Winson, call me the internal line of the operating room and tell me that Natasha... Is gone."
My hand holding Edward's shoulder slid down from his shoulder and dropped on both sides of his body. I staggered back two steps.
Seeing this, Philip hurried forward and held me with Edward.
Edward said to Philip, "I have to go in and have a look. I'll leave it to you."
Edward turned around and walked quickly into the operating room.
Philip helped me stand aside and said in a low voice, "Natasha has left, but Wendy is still having an operation. Please hold on.".
Natasha was dead.
I personally sent Natasha to the netherworld road
All I can think about is Natasha's smiling face and her last sentence.
"Winson, you'd better not regret it all your life."
Will I really... Won't I regret it?
Philip's phone vibrated.
He took it out, took a look at it and quickly walked aside to pick it up."
After a while, he asked in surprise, "are you sure?"
After hanging up the phone, Philip returned to I's side with a heavy heart, but said nothing.
After a long time, I walked to the door of the operating room and knocked on it.
"Open the door, I want to see her, Edward... Tell her, if she dares to die, her father and brother will die."
"Let me in. I'll tell her myself. I'll tell her..."
Philip stepped forward and stopped me
"Philip, go ahead. Go ahead and destroy Murphy and Bran. I will make her regret. I won't rest in peace even if she dies."
"The message wasn't sent by Natasha."
When I heard this, my brain exploded. "What did you say?"
"Yesterday, after you left the basement, Natasha was extremely sad. She cried and said that she was wronged. I felt... Natasha was so pitiful, so I sent someone to investigate the nurse again. Just now, I received a call, and the nurse had confessed."
Philip replied, "the message was sent in the name of Natasha by the nurse."
"Who is it?"
When Philip was about to report, the door of the operating room opened again.
Edward walked up to me and took off his mask. Although he looked serious, he let out a long sigh of relief.
"Winson, I was afraid that you might be worried, so I came out to tell you that Natasha was rescued."
Hearing the news, my clenched fists finally loosened.
"Should I say congratulations to you?"
"I don't care whether she is alive or dead."
I turned to look at Philip, and my face was much calmer. "Go on. Who instigated the nurse to send the message?"
Philip's heart sank. "Yes, Amanda."
Philip continued, "we didn't find anything wrong with the nurse's account before, because Amanda didn't give the money directly to the nurse, but transferred it to her boyfriend."
"The two nurses are still under our control."
"Don't let her die. Let her live worse than death."
"Yes, sir."
"And," "you call Mike and ask him to hit Ruby hard. His wife is so naughty. As son in law, he deserves some punishment. As for my aunt Amanda, you don't have to move. I have to clean it up myself."
"Yes, sir," Philip replied respectfully,
Fortunately, Natasha came back to life.
Natasha's POV
It was the third day after the operation.
This is the ward. I'm not dead?
"Natasha? Natasha, are you awake?"
The amiable and graceful lady was Winson's third aunt, Cecy.
And the only person who visited me when I was in prison.
"Natasha, you finally wake up. Do you know that you have been in a coma for two days?"
Outside the ward, Winson and Edward pushed the door open.
Edward came forward and checked for me.
Then he put down the stethoscope and said to me gently, "Congratulations,. You're alive."
Cecy turned around, looked at Winson and said coldly, "Winson, you've gone too far. Look, how could you do this to her?"
Winson said in a cold voice, "Cecy, it's none of your business."
"No, that's why I come here this time. After Natasha gets better, I'll take her back to my house."
Winson said in a cold voice, "I don't mind if she is willing to go with you. Anyway, there are some things that she doesn't bear, and others will bear..."
Edward raised his eyebrows and looked at Winson.
Cecy was a little angry and said, "Winson, you and Natasha grew up together. You can't do this. You're pushing her to death, aren't you?"
"I forced her?"
"Cecy will take you away. Will you go with her?"
On the surface, he gave me the right to choose, but in fact, he was threatening me directly
I dare not go. Of course I dare not.
I looked at Cecy and said weakly, "Cecy, thank you for your kindness. For the time being... I won't go to your home."
"Natasha..."
Cecy wanted to say something more, but was interrupted by Winson.
