Chapter 24: I Will Guide Him

“Can you at least tell me what it implies exactly?” Jasper asked, almost pleadingly.
“It depends on the type of relationship you chose to have with a dominant. I already mentioned that several Doms at the club like Justine and Asher for example, and most submissive don't want a contract at all. For these, bdsm is mostly about sex. Then, there are those who don't want to get involved in contracts that last longer than a few months. It is a good way to avoid the feeling of settling down and to change partners regularly. And finally, there are people who go for permanent contracts, knowing these can be terminated at any moment.” I paused to look at him.
“Whether it is a three-month agreement or one unlimited in time, the contract is pretty much the same. They define responsibilities and duties for both the dominant and the submissive as well as rules and discipline for the submissive. Most of all these categories are pretty much the same for everyone but then some things can be adapted according to both parties. The dominant and the submissive don't necessarily live together, though as often as possible, it is better if they do because the Dom can have a better control over his submissive. But when they don't, the rules apply all the same. As you can see, there are a lot of possibilities to extend the depth of the relationship, but it really depends on what both the submissive and the dominant decide.”
“I can imagine.” He muttered.
“So, does the contract really vary from one dominant to another?”
“Definitely, the contract is an agreement that defines the power exchange relationship between two people and the conditions. Everyone is different, it is a matter of compromise.”
“What is the role of the dominant in a contract?”
“His responsibilities include the submissive's safety and well-being, his education with the purpose to make him a better man. As far as his duties are concerned, there is a part about financially providing the submissive with whatever he may need to achieve his goal with guidance and advice too. To respect the submissive's safe word, whether in a sex scene or not. Another important duty is to respect the submissive's limit, but also to stretch when it is possible. And finally, to be clear on discipline.”
“Wow, that is a lot!” He exclaimed, his eyes widened.
Well, I am glad he noticed. At least I don't have to remind him that he would be better off in the other role.
“And what about the role of a submissive?” He asked.
“Basically, the submissive agrees to entirely trust and submit to his master. He is responsible for achieving the goal his dominant will have fixed for him, those that will make him bloom in his submission. Communication is one of the most important concepts of the lifestyle, his duties include to bring honor and respect to his master. To always be honest in his response, to ask for permission and advice before he makes any major decisions and to obey any of the master's commands without hesitation.”
“I don't really see how I could bloom by obeying someone else's commands.” He commented doubtfully.
“Trust me, Jasper, it really does work when it corresponds to your character. Think about Logan.” I said and he furrowed his eyebrows.
“Haven't you found him changed? Doesn't he seem to be more confident than a year ago?” I asked, and he looked deep in thoughts.
“Yes, I guess you are right. He has changed a lot.” He agreed.
“What is it with the punishment and the limits you told me about?”
“These also vary a lot from one dominant to another. They mostly depend on the master's expectations and needs and the submissive's personality and limits. The dominant will establish rules and objectives for his submissive. Both of them fix limits they must respect, if the submissive breaks rules or doesn't reach the goals he has been given. His master may discipline him.” I explained and let the information sink in his head.
“Can I ask something else about discipline?”
“Of course, I guess you would like to know what kind of punishment is executed?” He nodded shyly and I chuckled as I continued.
“Once again, it all depends on the domino's practice and on the submissive's limits. There are different methods and accessories, spanking is one of the most frequent and can be given either with the instruments I have shown you or with the hand.” I said, showing him my palm and smiling which made him turn red as a tomato.
“That is for spanking, but then, there are other ways to sanction a submissive, like pleasure denial and sensory deprivation which belong to the physical punishment category. “Yes, sir. Thank you for the offer. Can I ask another question?” I nodded in response.
“You said that a lot of things depend on the dominant as far as the rules, disciplines, limits and other things are concerned. What about you, what are the rules you would set up?”
“We will discuss it when you are ready for the contract.” I said with a mischievous smile. I am glad he asked, though. It means he is interested, at least a little.
“We have plenty of time, I will think about goals and rules for you as well.”
He remained silent, and I think it is time for us to leave.
“It is not really that late, would you like to go home or do something else?”
“Do you have anything in mind?”
“What about when we visit the club?” I suggested, winking at him.
“Would you take me there? I thought I wasn't allowed in yet?”
“I can invite you there as my guest, this won't involve you in anything. We will just watch a scene and then I will drive you back home.”
“Yes, that would be great.” He muttered after a little hesitation.
At that moment, I remember Grayson and Logan are performing a scene tonight. Shit, I don't know if he knows about it, he might not be comfortable watching his best friend in a kinky experience. And that goes with Logan as well.
“I need to talk to Justine first. Grayson and Logan are doing a public scene tonight, so I want to make sure Logan will be comfortable having his best friend watching. I don't think it is really a problem because this is part of the lifestyle and Logan has gotten used to it. But how about you? Won't you mind watching him?”
“Oh, that is fine!” He exclaimed with a grin.
“Logan and I have already discussed the possibility of seeing each other having sex with our dominants at some point and we are fine with it.” He said confidently.
“Are you sure?”
“Positive.” He mumbled.
“Alright, let's go then.”
We left the restaurant and once we were both in the car, he appreciated the dinner.
“My pleasure,” I said.
This dinner was indeed a real delight, we have been able to talk freely and learn about each other and I like it so much.
“I hope you like your food?”
“You bet, I had never eaten anything so good.”
“Don't you cook?” I asked.
“It depends on what you call cooking, does it include putting ready-made food into the microwave?” He asked sheepishly.
“Don't tell me you eat that kind of stuff?”
“Oh, no. Sometimes I get pizza, noodles and….”
“Okay, okay, I see!” I exclaimed.
This guy definitely needs some guidance towards a healthy lifestyle. I wonder how much more I am going to find out. However, as my mind processed all the information, things started taking shape in my head. I am already beginning to define guidelines and objectives for him. I realized that he really lacked authority and education throughout his childhood and adolescence.
There will be a lot to do with him, but I promise myself I will do my best to help and guide him.
