Rosaline's P.O.V.
I woke up and found myself in an unfamiliar room.
"Where am I?"
I clutched my head tightly as my head was throbbing with pain. I tried to get up slowly with the support of a wall.
"You're awake?"
I got startled hearing a raspy voice from behind. I turned back. My jaw dropped.
"V?"
Vincent smiled at me and started approaching me. I kept staring him in shock. He made me seated on the bed and looked at me.
"I am sorry but there was not any option left"
I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.
"What do you mean and how are you still alive? Didn't Xavier kill you that day?"
I was in complete shock so I didn't realise that the choice of my words was so harsh and rude. Vincent's H gaze instantly turned dark making me realised my fault. He looked at me furiously.
"Don't you have eyes? Can't you see I am sitting alive infront of you?"
He spat in a deep voice. I slowly got up as I started feeling scared of him.
"I am leaving"
I started making my way towards the door but he immediately gripped my wrist and pulled me back. My eyes widened in fear.
"You aren't going anywhere"
What?
"V, please let me go"
I started removing his hands off me but he tightened his grip. He pushed me back on the bed and held my shoulders tightly.
"You need to first listen to me. I have brought you here to show you something"
He spoke calmly making me relaxed. I nodded.
"Okay, go on"
He sat beside me and took out his phone.
"Do you know about Rebecca?"
My heart started palpitating wildly as soon as I heard that.
I recalled the day when he showed me a video of Xavier killing Mark brutally"
No no....It can't be....
The corner of my eyes started stinging with tears. I pushed them back and looked at him sternly. But my throat turned parched when V looked at me with a sorrowful gaze.
"P-Please d-don't s-say-"
"He killed her"
My heart dropped. My whole world came crashing down on me as I gasped in shock. V sighed and handed me his phone. I looked at the screen with tears running down my eyes.
'OH NO!!'
I saw how Xavier stabbed Rebecca mercilessly and inhumanely while she kept crying helplessly.
But...
"You love to steal my Doll away, don't you? You used to do it in the past now you're doing it again?"
Past?
That means.....
He was the one who killed Finn that day??
Which means she was saying the truth. But I was too blinded with love.
I didn't believe her.
I never believed her.
I never believed anyone.
He kept fooling me...
I kept believing him....
He kept playing with me....
I kept trusting him.....
He kept breaking up his promises...
And I kept giving him chances....
I looked at V with tears streaming down my face.
"Rosa, I know what you are feeling. But Xavier is really a dangerous man. He is a PSYCHOPATH, Rosa. He had killed numerous people. He murdered everyone who had ever tried to keep you away from him. Being a Mafia is not a big deal but being a Psycho Mafia is one. He had killed my best Agents. Nick, Mark, Rebecca, Jennie, Katherine, Leon and...."
I looked up at him. I grabbed his collar in frustration.
"And?"
"Noah"
I stared at him in horror. My hands fell down to the sides.
I can't believe this.
"Xavier came back to America to kill Noah only"
He said in a cold voice. I looked at him but then recalled what Xavier said to me that day before leaving for America.
"I have some unfinished business over there?"
Oh my God!!
"I can't believe this. He will kill everyone. He promised me that day that-", I panicked.
"And you believed it?",
I frowned and looked at Vincent who was staring me with an annoyed look on his face. He noticed my perplex face and sighed in frustration. He immediately held my shoulders tightly and yelled furiously.
"Rosa, are you stupid or what? There is a vast difference between being naive and being an idiot. DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND? HE IS A BLOODY CRIMINAL, ROSA. HE IS MAD FOR YOU. HE WILL KILL EVERYONE WHOEVER TRIES TO SNATCH YOU AWAY FROM HIM. HE HAD ALWAYS SHOWED YOU HIS REAL SELF BUT YOU KEPT GIVING HIM CHANCES, BELIEVING IN HIS LIES EVERY TIME!!! THINKING THAT ONE DAY HE WILL GET CHANGED. WHY DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND AND WHY DON'T YOU ACCEPT IT THAT HE IS NOTHING BUT A MENTAL FREAK, A BLOODY CRIMINAL. HE IS NOTHING BUT A MONSTROUS PSYCHOPATH!"
I got flinched by his sudden outburst. Suddenly past memories started flooding in my mind.
"Xavier is madly obsessed with you, Rosaline. He is a dangerous lunatic who will do anything to have you"
"Rosie, I have been dying to tell you this since so many years but Xavier always kept an eye on me and forbade me to even meet you. You don't know, he had even tried to kill me many times but somehow, I was able to escape from this beast's claws. You quickly need to leave, Rosie. We don't have much time"
*Gunshot*
"NICK!!"
Mark was inside an abandoned building all tied up and beaten up ruthlessly. Suddenly Xavier entered the room, his face was dark while his eyes were red-rimmed. He was looking very angry. He picked up an iron rod kept at the corner and walked towards an unconscious Mark with predatory steps. I flinched as soon as Xavier swung the rod in air and hit him hard on his head. He then kept walloping Mark brutally. After a few minutes he stopped and threw the rod on the cemented ground. Mark wasn’t breathing at all. It was clear that he had died. Tears filled in my eyes as I saw the dead body of my friend which was completely soaked with blood. But my eyes widened when Xavier took out his gun from the holster and shot all the six bullets in Mark’s head right after making his skull burst open. His blood got splattered all over Xavier's face as he glared at the corpse in front of him with a demonic smile.
"You're mine...Only mine...It will be good for you if you keep this small damn thing in your pretty little skull or I'LL FORCEFULLY MAKE YOU UNDERSTAND WHOM YOU BELONG TO!!!"
"Rose, you don't understand. Xavier is not a normal guy. He is aberrant. He is a dangerous man. I saw with my own eyes. Xavier himself pushed Finn off the building. He kept punching and kicking him ruthlessly and then he threw him off the terrace"
Xavier: But what you didn't knew was that you're not dealing with a random criminal. You're dealing with
Xavier Knights. Mafia King...Leader of Black Swan. Most dangerous and Fearsome Leader of America...
"And moreover a crazy lover...."
"YOU ARE MINE. ONLY MINE..."
"STOP!"
I shouted while closing my ears with my palms tightly.
"ROSA!!"
He immediately hugged me but I started crying loudly.
"Please stop this!!! I am tired of everything. I just want to live a simple life. I can't deal with this anymore"
I started trembling in his hold but he tightened the hug.
End of Rosaline's P.O.V.
Seeing Rosaline like this brought tears in Vincent's eyes. Although he wanted Rosaline but still, he felt bad for lying so much too her. It was true that Xavier had committed numerous murders and crimes and Vincent was sure that he wasn't remorseful a bit so he decided to separate Rosaline from him. He couldn't handle how much he was playing with the innocent soul so he decided to betray his friend but he was feeling very guilty as she was unnecessarily trapped in all this mess.
"I just wanted him to love me. I never even asked him to buy any expensive gifts for me. I just wanted to live a simple life. Nothing else. Is that too much to ask?"
She sobbed while clutching his shirt tightly in her small hands.
"Rosa, calm down. Everything is going to be alright", Vincent replied calmly as he patted her head. But he flinched when Rosaline immediately broke the hug and pushed him back.
"No, I want answers from him. I want him to tell me. Does he really love me or not?"
Vincent looked at her in shock and fear.
No way in hell he is gonna allow her to see or meet him. Already the situation is so complicated and it will turn worse if Xavier comes to know that Rosaline is with him.
His entire plan would get ruined if he lets Rosaline meet Xavier because no wonder, he is his childhood friend but when Xavier will come to know that he is planning to snatch his Rosebud away from him, he won't hesitate even a second and would burn him alive.
Vincent cupped Rosaline's face and wiped off her tears. He then held her shoulders tightly and spoke while staring in her eyes.
"Listen Rosa, we can't do this. It is too risky. Besides I have already planned everything but this time I want you to help me and not betray me for Xavier"
Rosaline shook her head stubbornly like a kid and pushed his hands away.
"No, I want answers"
Vincent glared at her. He grabbed her left forearm in a tight grip as he pulled her closer to his lips making her froze in fear.
"And then what will happen? Tell me"
He spat angrily while she kept staring at him with teary-eyes.
"He will just kill me and everyone and then drag you along with him. He'll lock you up for the rest of your life and you will be stuck with that psychopath for eternity. Do you want this to happen?"
Rosaline shook her head immediately in fear. Vincent then heaved a deep sigh and cupped her cheeks staring in her eyes softly.
"Then do as I tell you and don't mess up this time or else no one would be able to help you ever"
She nodded.
"Good then listen. When Xavier will arrive, you are going to keep him engrossed with him in a conversation while I along with my team would attack the mansion in the meantime"
Rosaline looked at him in shock and shook her head vigorously.
"But the mansion has a very high security. You won't be able to do break it"
Vincent smirked at her words.
"Don't worry about it. Just do what I say, okay?"
He nodded. Rosaline then sighed and spoke sternly.
"Okay, I will do it."

2 days later
At Knights Heritage, Italy
8:30 p.m.
"Rose"
Xavier called her as he entered the room while holding two bags in his hands.
"Baby, see what I got for you"
He kept calling her but she didn't respond. He kept the bags on the bed and removed his coat.
"Where is she?"
He roamed his eyes all over scanning the room when suddenly his eyes landed on Rosaline who was in the balcony. She was back facing him. He smiled and approached her slowly. He back hugged her.
"My precious Rosebud"
He kissed her cheeks but frowned as he felt something wet on his lips. He turned her around.
His eyes widened.
"Rose! What happened love?"
He cupped her cheeks panicking as he saw her crying. He wiped off her tears and hugged her immediately.
"Say something my sweetheart"
He hugged her tightly while she kept sniffing.
"You killed Rebecca"
Xavier froze on his spot as soon as he heard it. Rosaline then broke the hug and pushed him back making him stumble backwards.
"Rose, I-"
She didn't let him finish and gave a hard slap on his right cheek.
"SHUT UP!"
Xavier became shocked and looked at her.
"YOU REALLY HAVE NO HEART!! WHEN I THOUGHT THAT THIS IS ALL OVER AND YOU HAVE FINALLY CHANGED, YOU AGAIN BETRAYED ME!! WHY XAVIER! JUST WHY DO YOU DO THIS?"
She burst into tears and started sobbing hard. Xavier immediately rushed to her but she pushed him back.
"Please listen to me once"
Rosaline kept shaking her head and ran away. Xavier chased her back. She rushed downstairs.
"Wait!"
Xavier yelled from behind but Rosaline ignored him. She ran to the main gate but Xavier caught her. He was about to pull her back when all of a sudden, the main door revealing...
Vincent Valentino
Xavier's eyes widened.
"What are you doing here?"
Xavier was completely stunned to see him in his house but what he saw next was enough to boil his blood.
Rosaline rushed towards Vincent and hugged him.
Xavier's gaze immediately turned dark as he stared them like a maniac. He marched towards them angrily when...
