RP Chapter 45

RP Chapter 45
She had count on that Kyle would end up finding her again. She pulled her phone out of her pocket and turned it back on but turned it to complete silence so no one would hear it go off if someone called her, along with turning on the recording app she had downloaded a long time ago. She would get everything that went down when they came for her again, that was a guarantee.
She continued her way towards the exit of the building. She didn’t catch sight of any of the agents Kyle had on the team. She was so close to the door, she held her breath as she headed out the sliding door. As soon as she was out the door she let out the breath quickly.
She made her way to her truck. She wrapped her hand around the handle but before she could open it she was yanked around hard. She let out a small ow when she was pressed up against the truck hard.
She looked up instantly and fear squeezed her heart as she looked up at the masked man.
“You’re either very dumb or very brave, how’d you get away from your protector?” the evil voice asked.
“That’s none of your business, and I’m not dumb,” she gritted out wanting to punch the jerk in his face.
"I’d say you are, especially since you left your protector behind, he’s not going to like that you know.” His voice gritted against her skin causing chills and not the good kind.
“Maybe he’s coming soon, you ever think of that?” she demanded trying to break the guy’s grip.
All he did was let out a chuckle as he grabbed both of her wrists in one hand and gripped her chin tightly. “Please, he’s been attached to your hip since I started coming after you,” he gripped her tighter and pulled her forward, dragging her to the white car only a couple spaces from her own truck. “Enough talk, let’s go.” He demanded yanking her harder.
It didn’t look familiar at all, she’d never seen it in the parking lot before, so whoever this masked man was was still a mystery. She tried her best at struggling just to make her plan more believable to the jerk, so he didn’t know she wanted to go with him.
She struggled a little more as he maneuvered her into the backseat. “Why are you doing this?”
All she got was the car door slammed in her face. She instantly went for the handle, but nothing happened. The guy must have thrown the child lock on. Maybe this hadn’t been such a good idea. But she wasn’t knocked out or blind folded, that meant they were planning on not letting her get loose this time and to dispose of her. She let out a sigh as she watched the man get in the front seat. She looked around a little and there was no sign of Kyle, hopefully she wasn’t completely wrong about how this was going to happen.
She flicked her gaze around hurriedly again, all she could do now was hope her plan worked, and Kyle got to her in time.

Kyle was just pouring the two cups of coffee when Lita rushed up to him. He instantly sat Kacey wasn’t with her before he could demand answers she spilled into an explanation.
“Kyle, she wasn’t in the bathroom, as soon as I walked in it was empty.”
“Maybe she’s back in the lab,” he tried to remain calm, he didn’t even know why he suggested it, he knew better. From the look Lita was giving him, he knew he was an idiot for letting the words slip past his lips. “Never mind, get Donovan and start tracking her phone and search the video feeds to see if we can see where she went and which way she took.”
He was glad when Lita didn’t hesitate and took off to find his little brother. He couldn’t believe Kacey went against his instruction. Then again he could, let out a huff, she’d already gone against him more than a few times since they began this crazy mystery and relationship.
Maybe he just wasn’t clear enough or strict enough. The next time he saw her, and she wasn’t injured, he was pulling her over his knee so fast she wouldn’t know what hit her until he was almost done dishing the punishment out. He was so furious with his woman he was almost seeing white.
He stalked his way to Donovan’s desk, seeing his little brother would already be there looking for Kacey. If not Donovan was going to be receiving an ear full. He let a little calm overtake him as he got to the desk and seen Donovan was already punching on the keyboard.
Donovan glanced up as Kyle got closer. “What the hell Kyle I thought you were going to keep her close, not let her out of your sight, the first time you do she takes off?”
“Trust me, bro, before she even stepped into that bathroom I made it perfectly clear what she would receive if she took off on me, apparently I’m not tough enough, but that’s going to change, that I can promise.”
Donovan let out a loud snort. “Sorry, Kyle, that woman wears you down so much, you’re becoming too soft, then again you always were soft when it came to her.”
Kyle slugged Donovan hard in the arm. “Just find her.”
Donovan scowled but continued to go through the video feed. “Kyle, I found her, she went out the other exit of the bathroom, no one paid any attention that she was alone,” he paused as he switched to other camera views. “She made it out of the building with ease, she’s at her truck, Kyle, oh fuck.”
           “What, what’s wrong?”
“No, no, no, she was at her truck, Kyle, someone is stopping her from getting in.”
“What?” Kyle demanded and began to watch the video along with Donovan. He wanted to slam his fist against something as he watched Kacey struggle to get away from the guy, but not very hard. “She’s not even trying to get away, she’s letting this jerk take her.”
On the other computer screen Donovan pulled up the tracker everyone had on their phones. “Kyle, she left her phone on and she has it with her.”
“Where are they heading?” Kyle demanded.
           “North on East Fourth Street.”
Kyle let out a breath as he watched the car leave the parking lot on the computer. “Damn, this guy definitely is an agent, he didn’t let his license plate show on any of the camera’s, this is crap, we can’t put an APB without the damn number.”
Donovan began to push a bunch of buttons again then stood from his desk. “Well, what are we waiting for? I got the tracker pulled up on my phone now, so let’s get going.”
Kyle turned towards the exit along with Donovan. “Fine, but I’m driving.”
“Figured that, I’ll let Cunningham know where we’re going once we take off.”
