Chapter 95 Ninety Five

Chapter 95 Ninety Five
The weekend passed quietly.

Izzy hadn’t heard from Maya at all, and that made her feel a little sad. She missed her friend’s teasing, her presence, and the way she could always make her laugh. At the same time, a flutter of excitement kept her heart warm.. she and Dominic were officially together now. That thought alone made her smile, despite the empty feeling left by Maya’s silence.

Sunday evening, Izzy sat on her bed, getting ready for the new workweek. She carefully picked her outfit, smoothing down her skirt and brushing her hair until it felt just right. She caught her reflection in the mirror and couldn’t help but smile softly at herself.

Her chest tightened a little with nervous excitement. Work was just work, but now, knowing Dominic was her boyfriend, even the thought of seeing him made her stomach flutter.

She packed her bag, double-checking her planner and phone, making sure everything was ready. There was a quiet energy in her apartment… her own anticipation mixing with the lingering worry about Maya’s absence.

With a deep breath, she told herself, It’s okay. I’m happy. I’m doing what I want, and for once, I’m not just reacting to what anyone else wants.

She picked up shoes she needed for tomorrow, and gave her reflection one last approving glance. Here we go, she whispered to herself, feeling both nervous and excited for the week ahead.

Even though part of her missed Maya, the thought of seeing Dominic, sharing little smiles and touches at work, and finally being his… it made all the nervous butterflies in her stomach feel worth it.

Monday morning arrived faster.. Short night.

She woke early, her stomach buzzing with excitement. Dominic had texted her the night before, asking her to arrive at the office by five a.m. so they could have some quiet time together before the usual chaos of the workday.

She slipped out of her apartment, her mind racing with anticipation. The streets were still quiet, the city just beginning to stir. By the time she reached the office, her heart was already pounding.

She got down from the taxi and took a deep breath, smoothing her skirt and brushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

The office building was nearly empty as she stepped in. The soft hum of the elevators and the faint buzz of the security system were the only sounds. Her heels clicked lightly against the polished floor as she made her way to the conference room where Dominic had asked her to meet him.

When she opened the door, she froze for a moment. Dominic was already there, leaning against the table, looking as impossibly handsome as ever. His shirt sleeves were rolled up, tie loose, eyes soft as they landed on her.

“Hey baby, Good morning” he said, his voice low, almost a purr.

Izzy’s lips curved into a shy smile. “Good Morning,” she whispered, feeling a flutter in her chest.

Dominic walked toward her slowly, closing the distance, and gently took her hand. “I’m glad you came early,” he said, his thumb brushing the back of her hand in a teasing, possessive way.

Izzy felt warmth spread through her at his touch, excitement and nerves mixing together. “Me too,” she admitted softly, letting herself lean slightly toward him.

They spent the next few minutes just standing there, holding hands, enjoying the quiet together. No work, no one else around… just them. Izzy’s heart was full, the early morning sun streaming through the windows casting a golden glow around them.

Dominic’s eyes met hers, and he gave her a small, soft smile. “I’ve missed this,” he murmured, his voice rough with emotion.

Izzy’s stomach fluttered. “Me too,” she admitted, feeling her cheeks warm.

For a moment, the rest of the world didn’t exist. The office, the work, even her worries about Maya…they all faded as she simply stood there with Dominic, hands entwined, heart racing. She knew that, no matter what the day ahead held, this moment..this quiet morning together…was theirs.

After a few quiet moments, Dominic took her hand and led her down the empty hallway toward his office. The early morning light spilled through the tall windows, casting long shadows across the floor. Izzy’s heart was pounding, a mix of nerves and anticipation buzzing in her stomach.

Once inside, Dominic closed the door behind them, the click of the lock echoing slightly in the otherwise silent room. He turned to her slowly, his eyes darkening with need.

“I’ve missed you,” he murmured, stepping closer.

Izzy’s breath caught in her throat. “I… missed you too,” she admitted softly, her fingers trembling slightly as they brushed against his chest.

Before she could think further, Dominic closed the distance between them. His lips crashed onto hers hungrily, devouring her mouth with a raw, urgent passion that made her knees weaken. Her hands shot up to his shoulders, trying to steady herself as he pressed against her, his body warm and firm.

He kissed her like he had been starved for her, deep and demanding, tongue teasing hers, exploring, claiming. Izzy’s pulse raced, and a shiver ran through her as she pressed back against him, letting herself melt into the heat of the moment.

“I’ve want you, so bad” Dominic growled softly against her lips, his hands sliding down to grip her waist tightly, pulling her impossibly close.

“I… want you too,” Izzy whispered, her voice shaky, breath coming in quick gasps as his lips left hers only briefly to trail down her jaw and neck.

Dominic’s hands tangled in her hair, tilting her head back, and his lips met hers again in a fiery, needy kiss. The hunger in him made her ache, a delicious mix of desire and longing that left her trembling.

For a moment, the office, the world outside.. it all disappeared. There was only Dominic, his heat, his hands, and the way he looked at her like she was the only person he wanted.
