Our Forbidden Romance

One night is all it takes to change my entire world in the blink of an eye. A chance encounter working at an event catering to the rich is all it takes for two worlds to collide. I caught the eye of Ezra Barclay, a man known in the business world and respected by many. He seems drawn to me, even though he already has a gorgeous woman by his side. I am a nobody. We are the definition of opposites attract. He wants me. A man like him has a way of getting what he wants. I can’t deny my attraction to him. I try, God, I try hard to fight it. I become his weakness; one he doesn’t want to give up. Ezra is taken, older than me, and I would never fit next to him, not in the way his current girlfriend does. I am not the type of woman to take from someone else. It doesn’t seem to stop me from falling into bed with a man who isn’t available. I know it's wrong, and I should stop, but it's easier said than done, especially since he's the first person ever to make me feel like I'm worth something. He shows me a life I could only dream of, and we share a connection that is new to us, one that can’t be easily forgotten. But, not everything is at his seems. We have our secrets, and Ezra has his demons. His perfect relationship, he shows, is full of lies and hate, but she is determined to keep everything she has, even if it isn't what she wants. Our forbidden romance can surely only end in disaster, but I can’t deny that every minute with him is worth it, no matter how this might end.
