Chapter 63: The Thrill of Infidelity

Cameron’s P.O.V

I’m spread across Edmund’s office in a way that feels both dangerous and exhilarating. The room is dimly lit by the soft glow of a desk lamp, its light pooling around us on the expensive carpet. Edmund is seated in his high-backed leather chair, his strong frame relaxed yet commanding as I sit astride him, every inch of my skin exposed. I can feel the heat of his body beneath me, his steady rhythm as he drives us both to a place I can barely name—a place of raw, unguarded passion.

“Edmund,” I murmur between breaths, my voice low and urgent as I shift slightly on him. “What if someone walks in right now and sees us?” The thought sends a shiver down my spine, and I pause for a moment, trying to gauge the risk even as pleasure floods my senses.

He doesn’t break the rhythm of his thrusts for long. Instead, with a wry, knowing smile, Edmund replies, “You’ve been waiting all day here, hiding from your man, so we could have moments like this again. No one’s going to barge in and ruin our time.”

His voice, steady and reassuring, lets me know that he’s thought about every possibility. I let out a shaky laugh, feeling both naughty and safe in his words. “I can’t help it, Edmund,” I confess, my hand tracing the curve of his shoulder. “Every time I’m with you, I get this surge, like nothing I’ve ever felt before.”

He groans softly in response undulating his hips onto mine, his lips barely parting as he murmurs, “You make me feel alive too, Cam. Alive in ways I can’t even describe.” His hands travel along my back, pressing me closer to him. The intensity of our connection is there, mixing with the low hum of the city outside his office window.

As our pace picks up, Edmund’s tone shifts, his words punctuating the rhythm of our union. “Tell me, Cameron,” he asks, his voice breathy and insistent, “did Elyse ever have any suspicions about us?”

I pause, my mind flickering back to earlier that night—the moment Elyse nearly uncovered the truth. “Yeah,” I say, my voice catching with a mixture of excitement and regret. “Elyse did have suspicions. He was about to check the marks on my back... but then he changed his mind.” My admission is quiet, almost a whisper against the backdrop of our shared intensity.

Edmund’s eyes glisten with a mix of amusement and something deeper—a flicker of triumph, maybe. “I’m glad he didn’t push too hard,” he says, his tone both teasing and serious. “It makes these stolen moments even more precious.”

I run my hand along his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath my fingertips, and I smile. “I know. I just—” I pause, struggling to capture the overwhelming emotions swirling inside me. “I just can’t help it when I’m with you. It’s like every part of me comes alive.”

I gasp as he increases his pace, breathless and tangled in Edmund’s arms, our skin slick with sweat in the low light of his office. The air is thick with the scent of our mingled desire, and every pulse in my body seems to echo the intensity of our connection. Edmund’s chuckle, deep and amused, fills the small space between us as he murmurs, “Elyse is too naïve, Cam. He wouldn’t dare pry where it doesn’t belong.”

I can’t help but laugh, a mix of frustration and relief coursing through me. “I don’t want to talk about Elyse when we’re together,” I say, my voice rough with need. My hands grip Edmund’s chest, urging him to continue what we’ve so passionately started. “And please… try not to leave so many marks,” I add, half-teasing yet sincere because I know those little reminders of our indulgence might follow me back into daylight.

Edmund’s smirk is wicked as he replies, “I can’t promise anything, Cam.” In a heartbeat, he resumes his relentless thrusting, the sound of his determined breaths blending with my own moans. Every movement, every thrust, sends waves of electricity coursing through me. I close my eyes and surrender to the sensation, feeling alive in a way that no one else ever makes me feel.

Between our heated exchanges, I murmur, “I love the way you make me feel, Edmund. Every time I’m with you, it’s like I’m on fire—like nothing else exists.” My words are punctuated by a soft laugh as I hold onto him, desperate to cling to the moment. The heat of his skin, the rhythm of his body beneath me, it’s intoxicating. I’m caught in the whirlwind of our passion, and every thrust only deepens my desire.

In the midst of our fervor, Edmund’s tone turns playful yet probing. “Tell me, Cam,” he asks with passionate gasps, “do you like this better than what you had with Elyse?” His eyes gleam with curiosity as he studies me, searching for the truth hidden in my flushed expression.

I hesitate for only a split second before I answer honestly, “Elyse… he was always so boring. I mean, I almost fell asleep when we were having sex once, but I had to keep up so as not to hurt his pride.” My admission hangs in the air, raw and unfiltered, as I feel his intensity rise with every word.

Edmund’s laughter, low and throaty, reverberates in the confined space. “You always were a handful, Cam,” he says with a teasing lilt, his voice both a question and a promise. And as he thrusts deeper, I feel our intimacy reach a fever pitch. The intensity of his actions, the way he drives me to the edge, overwhelms every other thought.

Then, in a crescendo of pleasure, Edmund’s pace quickens and suddenly, I feel his length swelling inside me, filling me up like never before. I freeze, realizing what is happening, but I didn’t care…I wanted this…I wanted this so badly…

Edmund releases inside me—his warmth flooding me in a moment of unrestrained abandon. His cock still swelled and blocking my channel as he knots. I let out a cry that is equal parts ecstasy and disbelief as I collapse against him, my body trembling with aftershocks. I’m so spent that for a moment I can barely keep my eyes open, but I force a laugh through the haze of pleasure. “Damn, Edmund… you really want me to get pregnant, don’t you?” I manage, my voice husky with a mix of awe and mischief.

Edmund pauses, his breath catching as he leans closer. A curious thought slips out before he can catch it. “Do you want that,” he asks, almost in a whisper as his eyes scan my flushed body, “Do you want to bear my child, Cameron?” His tone is playful, a bit incredulous as if the idea is both absurd and tantalizing.

I’m still panting, the heat of our earlier passion still simmering between us in the shadowed intimacy of Edmund’s office. The room is quiet now except for the soft hum of the air conditioner and our uneven breaths. Edmund’s laughter—rich and mocking—cuts through the silence.

“I…I’m not sure.” I say truthfully. “I haven’t considered it yet.”

“Cam,” he says, a teasing lilt in his voice as he shifts his weight in the leather chair, “if you ever decide to make a fuss about all of this, you can always pin it on Elyse.” He chuckles, his eyes dancing with mischief. “For that, you’d better go have sex with Elyse, too, so that he believes the child is his.”

I can’t help but let a slow, knowing smile spread across my face, a mixture of amusement and challenge. I run a hand lightly over my chest, still tracing the fading patterns of our passion on my skin. “Edmund,” I reply with a smirk that borders on defiance, “if I’m to endure boring, routine sex with Elyse, then you’d better hurry up and put a baby in my womb as soon as you can.”
